In the future; might want to research seasonal coleslaw or broccoli-slaw for change up of side menu salads. Other: fried or steamed vegs as possible finger food. Portion side, it was expected. Shio liked the bacon melt leftover. I found out what was missing alfalfa sprouts made taste elevated. Not sure if they would add pan fry egg as optional item. My family and I recently visited Buffalo Wild Wings in Salinas, and unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience. We ordered food from the restaurant for our family, but my daughter had brought her own meal because she doesn't eat the type of food they serve. While we were patiently waiting for our order, the manager approached my daughter and told her that she needed to throw her food away or finish it as quickly as possible. We understand that restaurants may have policies regarding outside food, and we respect that. However, the way the manager spoke to my daughter was extremely rude, unprofessional, and completely unnecessary. There was no kindness or courtesy in the way the situation was handled. Good customer service is not only about following policies but also about treating customers with respect. The first mistake we did was arriving to a new restaurant without reading the ratings. The manager Layla was just eating and on her phone the whole time, beware the employees/staff have a table to the side to themselves to eat and watch their phone. We got seated didn't get asked the normal how are you just got seated got our drinks pretty fast, food took 50 minutes to get there FIFTY we were really deciding on getting up and leaving but as soon as we decided to leave food got there it was cold. It's no wonder this location has a 2 star rating. This all falls on the General Manager of this location. A perfect example of the, tail wagging the dog, and not the dog wagging the tail. While this was going on we noticed 3 other groups of customers come in and sit. The Manger took out order. So then we waited and waited and yes! Waited some more. We did happen to notice that the 2 of the other groups got their drinks AAAAND FOOD, before we got ours. Now to be transparent we had a group of 5. The other 2 groups had 4 and 3 people. Sooooo we finally got our food. Not sure what happened in the kitchen and prep area for the food, however everyone in our group got sick from our stomach and well you can guess what 2 rooms in our home were occupied for most of the night. I'm sure that the day shift runs smoother than the night shift since the General Manager works that shift. However the evening Managers have ZERO control of the floor. 2 stars as a whole is horrible for any restaurant. We are locals and live in the city. This city is compact and we are overwhelmed with restaurants. She served with a positive attitude and a great smile and did ask us a few times if we needed anything which is greatly appreciated. The bad thing here is always packed since it seems there's not a lot of servers/waiters/waitresses which can make someone very impatient at times even more so if you are VERY VERY hungry. First we walked in to pickup our order that we placed online to not get acknowledged for almost 15 mins because the girl was to busy on the phone messing up someone's order from what I heard. They need to make it clear the 5.99 special only applies on the classical one, or they need to print the actual prices for the other three chicken sandwiches. First, they don't have enough servers. Second, I ordered a glass of wine (don't ask me why) and it came in a dirty glass, warm and tasted like the bottle had been open for a few days. I sent it back and ordered a different drink. When my food arrived my wings were lukewarm and my salad was gross. The only good thing I ate that was any good was the carrot and celery sticks. It wasn't very busy so there is obviously a lack of training and presentation which a a reflection of management.
