Socialized maximized! Tiny, small, medium, and standard size... but all under your knee size! Oh what a hoot and a bit of holler.... The dog have here without a leash on their collar! All so gentle, almost too much so, according to my Daisy, who's a straight up baller - shot caller! lol just playing! What a fun place to take your little dog. As for us, we'll find our way here again around 2pm where, at this dog park in this moment there is a loose agreement among at least 15 regulars that this time is a good doggy date window. read more

Lots of room for the dog go's to run and play. The area is fully shaded from the hot summer days. The only negative is that there is no grass so my dog will usually come home very dirty. read more

Its a good park IF you're responsible. Clean up after your dog. If you don't know where your pooped, just clean up whatever poop you find, but for goodness sake CLEAN UP SOMETHING. If you're one of those people that quietly says, "Stop fighting, Rover" & then walks away letting the fight continue, I'd avoid this park. There's a regular bunch of dog owners here who DO follow the rules & we WILL point out your irresponsibility. The big dog side can be dangerous for kids under 10 years old. I've been clobbered by two playing dogs (I'm 163 lbs; dogs were each about 70 lbs) & I hit the ground HARD. Limped for days. Please don't take the risk. Just don't bring little kids here. If you & your dog(s) are trained & listen, please come by because you are totally welcome. :) Why is it that little dog owners don't train their dogs?? I don't get it. I gave it a 4 because of the completely irresponsible dog owners who come here & ruin it for everyone. read more

I like this park when there are responsible owners in attendance. This girl - probably in her 20's had a pretty big puppy in the large dog area and it kept biting my dogs face and actually hanging on to his jowls and ears. I of course had to leave. He now has scabs where the puncture wounds are located. This irresponsible person was on her phone and said that's the way the dogs play in here. I advised her NO, I have been coming to this park a very long time and rarely have this problem especially if they are doing harm. I suggested she get some training and come back when her dog has more control/maturity. There is no room for aggressive behavior! read more

This is the greatest dog park. I come for my pup, so I refrain from getting involved in any politics. There are groups at 10am and 2pm. The ground is sandy fine gravel. Small and large dog areas are available. There is plenty of parking. Water is available as well as a few tennis balls and frisbees laying about for general use. Thanks to the folks behind EDDOG.org. What a beautiful place for "mans best friend" to play. Set among majestic oak trees this place is a wonderful testimony to community spirit and fortitude. My logs loved it here. Quite large for them to run around and lots of trees for them to search for critters. There's a large sandy area and then the rest is dirt and trees. So they will get dirty!! There's a fountain for people and dogs along with a hose and a bucket for them to drink and play. There's a few broken kiddie pools and a few scattered toys. Only downside I would say is there's no grass and you have to be careful walking around the tree areas since people don't like to pick up their dogs poop all the time. But other than that is a fun spot for dogs to have some fun. read more

The park was a fairly enjoyable place for my dog and I to go until the last few months. The regulars are so unfriendly, it made me feel unwelcome. Sadly, there have been two others that I've met who will not return either. It was so bad, one young lady was personally attacked by the regulars - she has a young, friendly pittie. The attack on this owner brought her to tears & was unfounded. A second man came in with his dogs & "here comes the humper" was whispered amongst the group. He left. There are a lot of great places in EDC to take a dog without the self-appointed Dog Police being "mean girls (and men)". read more

Our go to dog park. I prefer this place better than Folsom. Much larger and more of a natural setting. I like the 2 areas for small and large dogs. Wish they had a larger parking area but overall great place. read more

I've never had problems here and my husband and I loved taking our pup here. However, tonight as soon as I let my dog in all 4 dogs currently there came at him and pack bullied him. He was running behind me to hide and was absolutely terrified. The dog owners pretty much did nothing. One of them leashed their dog the rest just sat there. The regulars who go here are definitely cliquey and not pleasant. I've tried making nice conversation and have either been ignored or given rude responses. The overall feel of this park is just not nice. I will not be going back again. read more

I've been here a few times. I love all the trees and all the shade because this place can get really hot. There's plenty of seating, doggie bags, bowls to fill with water, and old dying or dead toys. Every time I've been here the dogs and the dog owners have been nice and on top of their game when it comes to watching their pets. Not a 5 star for the small parking area and because it's just a flat area with no grass. read more

The Park was ok I like to see more grass so the dogs can lay down and roll around. My dog had a good time but there was a group of young guys there that should have been in school or at work and their dogs were unruly and they didn't take care of it. read more

A nice dog park right off the highway which makes for a convenient stop when traveling between Tahoe and the Bay Area. Plenty of other dogs every time I have visited, and most folks seem to know each other so it is a nice little community. read more

I've been coming to this park for about three years and my dogs and I love it. It's a bit chilly in the winter but very shady and cool in the summer and with our summers, that's a win. The park rules are listed on a very large sign but unfortunately, not everyone reads them and gets upset or indignant when they're asked to leave when they're not following the rules (bringing children into the dog areas as well as bringing food). This is a park for dogs and it's so nice to have a place for them to play where natural and normal dog behavior is allowed free from judgement. Leash aggression, food aggression, and annoying reactions to children (not all dogs are raised around them) are expected. My dogs love coming here and interacting with their canine and human friends and enjoying making new friends. I love coming here for the same reasons. read more

Went there for the first time and it wasent a very good experience. The people were rude. Seemed like they had there own click. The park seemed dirty, and dark. We had one lady tell us that her dog didnt like kids, and that we should all be very careful. Why the hell do you bring your dog to a place where it can possibly bite someone. Her dog then barks at our 12 year old the whole time we are there, and she just sits there. It seemed like everyone there just didn't care that thier dogs were out of control. The park was ok, the people sucked. Wont return. The folsom dog park is so much better. read more

We love this dog park! It is very easy to get to and close to local shopping centers. Their parking is limited and I could not find a water source. The park is under the shade trees and straw was put down in both sides (big and small separated sides) yay! The park has it's rush hours, so there is a time to go for everyone! read more
