Worst breakfast I have had in years. This place was right across from our hotel. A bartender from where we were drinking the night before told us not to eat here, and I should have listened. The interior inside is cute and they were playing great music. The watermelon agua fresa was also amazing. Thats where the goodness stops. 9 out of 10 times I order nachos at a Mexican restaurant after a night of partying. These nachos might as well have been from Taco Bell. I wish the menu stated it was nacho cheese instead of melted cheese. I loathe canned orange nacho cheese. With a place claiming to be authentic, I had no clue it was going to have canned cheese sauce. It was also swimming in guacamole. I only like guacamole in small doses, like a little scoop on top. These were almost inedible for me, I still can't get over the canned cheese. My husband told me to send it back. For $22, I didnt want to waste that money and then have to wait for a new meal. The asada itself tasted good. I should have ordered asada as a mulita or a torta instead. Also, I wanted shredded beef as my meat and was told I could only get asada as the beef. The chips were stale and tasted bagged. My husband had a chile relleno and a shrimp cocktail. He said they were good, but nothing to rave about. I picked the meat out of my nachos and ate that with a few chips. If you crave nachos with lots of melty actual grated cheese with homemade chips, this place aint it. read more

We visited on Monday, with a party of three, for lunch and it was a very nice experience. We arrived and were seated immediately in a booth. The area where the restaurant is located is a bit sketchy, but the interior is nice. The have a pretty large menu with many options. Two of us went with Cheesy Tacos and one went with Fajitas. The tacos were excellent, with a side of burria consume. The fajitas portion was quite large with numerous side sauces. The service was great, the waiter was friendly and helpful. So the location is unfortunate but once you're inside you forget all about that. They did an incredible job at transforming an old diner and still paying homage to its roots in an elevated way. Super impressed! It was my first time here and we just went in with the intention of getting some drinks and sharing some nachos. Lucky us since we made it just moments before their happy hour ended. 2 beers for $5. What a deal! We ordered their nachos which was a great shareable portion and a solid 7.5/10. I know food costs have gone up but I will say $22 was a little rich. The deal on the beers more than made up for it though. Our bill was just under $30. Our server also told us they have happy hour M-F if I'm not mistaken and they serve breakfast all day. Btw, once we left here we went to Baracoa (a fancier dining environment) and were talking about how excellent the service was at the Mi Ranchito in comparison. Tried this place twice. I'd say the food is pretty typical authentic American Mexican. The sauces are good for the red hot sauce that comes on the tacos. Food is fairly priced and we've had good service both times. The interior is freshly remodeled and clean. This review is based on a DoorDash order from Hacienda Mi Ranchito. This was my first time ordering from this place, which recently opened. However, I've visited many of the Mi Ranchito locations for several years. In recent years, Mi Ranchito has appeared to have lowered their standards based on my experience. The regular Mi Ranchito's often forget to include items with my to go orders, the meats are very greasy and so on. When I saw that an "Hacienda Mi Ranchito" was opening, I saw that the food items were priced higher than the regular Mi Ranchito locations and so I thought... why am I going to pay more for the same greasy food with missing items? I finally decided to give Hacienda Mi Ranchito a try for the first time today. I WAS SHOCKED! Not only was my order accurate, but the food was fresh, well and carefully prepared and packaged. Not only did they actually include the condiments I requested, but they included napkins and utensils... unlike the regular Mi Ranchito. It was totally worth what I payed for and I'm actually planning on dining in at Hacienda Mi Ranchito in the very near future. Yesterday was my 75th birthday and my BFFs gave me the choice of places I would like to go. Well, Mi Ranchito is always my best go to place, but I remembered they had a new restaurant located on Palmdale Blvd and the Fwy off ramp. Best choice in the world!! The ambiance is very modern, the service was great and the food was sooooooooo good! Two of the guests got the chicken fajitas, wow!!! They could not finish them. One of the children ordered chicken fingers, the fries were the best and the 3 huge fingers were so crispy. Eva and I got the special with 2 tacos (1 soft 1 crispy) and the best cheese enchilada. Bill got the 3 chicken enchiladas, only complaint was they had too much chicken in them! LOL!!! But wait!!! it gets better!!! At the end of our meal, the staff lit sparklers, one had a ceramic mask that lit up and the most wonderful flan was on the cutest tray of celebration. This place is a must if you just want some great food in a place you could eat off the floor, reasonable, great chips and house made salsa or a celebration! Hope to see you there!!
