I will say that the atmosphere inside of the restaurant was quaint and classy. The food quality and service was also good and I enjoyed my stay. However, I was unsatisfied with one of my orders that my friend and I shared. If it wasn't for this one issue, I would've given this place 4 stars, but the situation impacted my table negatively. Both pictures I provided below are of dishes that were the same size and portioning and ingredients, but one was a custom order and the other was an appetizer from the menu item. The custom order came out to $25 which was absurd and the other app was $10 before tax. I was offended at the price scale and I know the order couldn't have been that challenging to make, so I was disappointed. Overall, really good food, drinks and a beautiful atmosphere. Fruit flies and low grade margaritas. I wouldn't trust any fruit coming from the bar. The bar's tequila used for the margaritas could be better. The premade mix was smooth but the tequila was rough. Food was not as expected We ordered 13 different dishes since we were a table of 13 pp. Unfortunately, 4 pp ordered birria burritos and 3 pp ordered birria tacos (all those 7 orders were a failure in taste) super dry and definitely not good. We did tell the waitress as she asked us about food, 7 people literally left more than half of their food in their plates. The rest of people ordered fajitas that were delicious and carne asadas that were good as well. Overall, birria was a disappointment for ALL 7 people that ordered from our group! Hacienda is a fun place to go on a Saturday night. Luckily it was easy to park and we were able to get a table within a few minutes. Service was generally good, although food showed up at our table that wasn't ours. They then picked it up after a few moments and dropped it at another table. This restaurant was amazing. We came in for dinner on cinco de Mayo, the restaurant was packed but we were seated in about 20 minutes. I had the king Cadillac margarita and my friend had the white sangria, both drinks were amazing!! We had the chicken nachos as our appetizer. These are a must! They were fresh, hot, and delicious. The chicken on the nachos was super flavorful and they were very generous with the toppings. For our entrees we had the shrimp fajitas and stuffed poblano peppers. Both dishes were delicious! Full of flavor and the portion sizes were great. The restaurant was packed but our food came out very fast & everything was hot and fresh. The service was amazing, our waiter even brought us some cinco de Mayo freebies (Tito's bandana, casamigos shot cup, corona bottle opener) which was super cool. Didn't take food pics but ordered the following: The appetizer platter Todo Mexicano which brings chicken quesadillas which tasted pretty good;grilled shrimp cooked perfectly and delicious, empanadas with I believe had some yellow cheese inside and tiny tiny bits of scallions? Not sure but they just had cheese and small hint of some type of seafood flavor. Fried calamari which was fresh, and crispy wings which were overly salty almost not edible. Had the guacamole which was alright but did not taste the freshest. Flautas, which had a taste of grease and not as crispy as they should be. The nacho platter, this was pretty good but not as much meat throughout the plate, just mainly on top. But worth the price. Chicken tenders and French fries from the kids menu(not listed in main menu), but chicken was soo hard and felt like it was microwaved then flash fried. Not worth it! Though many have recommended to come give this place a try, I was not impressed. Overall, I would not recommend this place as your first stop for some American Mexican food(definitely not authentic Mexican food). Loved it. Food, service, drinks...... all great! Their sangria is perfect. We had the white, but have had the res in the past. Both are great. The ceviche salad is enough for 2/3 people and is fresh. The waitstaff is professional and respectful. First time back since the remodel. Place looks much nicer and they have a bar area with tables and a separate dining room (which closes earlier). Came with a group from work and spent lots of $ on drinks: $22 per margarita cause we added those mini bottles on top, so more than $110 per round. Ended with Mexican coffees, another $9/each. On to the food...they do charge for everything. Chips and salsa $5, add guacamole you're up to $14, ask for sour cream $2. Shared apps of grilled shrimp, street corn(which they cut in half for us), steak/chix quesadilla were all good. Wasn't a fan of the flautas. Everyone ordered something different and were happy with their meals, except me. I thought I was ordering a shrimp enchilada, but it was really shrimp Al mojo, super garlicky, and I wouldn't order again, it was just shrimp and rice, no veggies or fixings, but that was my fault for misreading the menu. I was a little hesitant to come here because the menu did not look appetizing. After my parents gave me recommendations of different things to order I decided why the hell not. Although Hacienda is a Mexican restaurant it has more of a bar feel. It is extremely loud and there's a lot of hustle and bustle. The bar is in the center of the restaurant which makes it hard to retrieve drinks when it is packed. We started off with the frozen peach margarita which was delicious. They do not skimp on the alcohol and it's sweet like candy. We were blessed with salsa and chips which is highly addictive. Be forewarned that extra salsa, chips, refills of a soda or juice are not included. Trust me the salsa and chips are totally worth the few extra dollars! I believe we ended up ordering three more salsas after the complimentary one evaporated in less than five minutes. For our apps we ordered the Alas De Pollo En Fuego. It's chicken wings marinated in a zesty house sauce and then fried. We also feasted on the Todo Mexicano. The platter is a mix of appetizers that include chicken quesadillas, grilled shrimp, empandas, fried calamari, and wings. My favorite from the platter are the wings and grilled shrimp. The chicken quesadilla was good but had way too much chicken in it for such a small piece. I couldn't enjoy it. The Calamari was fried too hard and I've definitely had better. Besides the dipping sauce provided was bland. For our entrees we ordered the steak which came with rice and beans. The seafood enchilada came with rice and beans. I ordered the fajitas suprema which included shrimp, steak, chicken, onions, peppers, fresh tortillas, pico de gallo, sour cream, guacamole, with a side of rice and beans. AMAZING. Now my husband and I were fans prior to the renovation, but now that Hacienda is open again, they are knocking it out of the park. The building itself is beautifully renovated to allow more patrons which it certainly did. They now have valet parking to allow plenty of people to come without a parking nightmare. Their menu has stayed simple and classic with plenty of options to satisfy all cravings. I ordered the enchiladas rancheros which were absolutely delicious and my husband ordered chimichangas both of which we enjoyed tremendously. I also had a margarita which was the perfect addition to my meal. PLUS the meals are so reasonably priced it was awesome. Cannot wait to return and bring all of our friends! read more

Wow, what a total frigging disappointment. While waiting months for my fav local Mexican place to open we hit up a few other local spots but really none of them could compare. I loved Hacienda. Loved the crowded tables, commotion, large bar area, giant wooden booths and their always spectacular food and friendly prompt service. All of that is now sadly gone. They had this local amazing divey spot and what they replaced it with resembles a chain restaurant with worse service (as if that's even possible), a pint sized bar and a staff who can best be described as clueless. How clueless you might ask. After waiting the better part of 15 minutes for our order to be taken and in the middle of our 1/2 wait for our food the waitress came over and asked how everything was. There was literally a basket of chips on the table and four glasses of water. Bartender could not break a $10 bill and our waitress screwed up the change from our check not once but twice. Food is also a few notches down both in quantity and portion. This is a classic example of how not to renovate. You want to improve and expand upon your success, not completely change and destroy it. I honestly feel bad for whoever owns it because clearly they spend a huge amount of money that they would have been way better off holding onto. Generous 2 stars. read more

I went with friends to catch up and enjoy Mexican home style food. Instead the wait for 3 was long they had us wait in the car and they called us . I was starving by the time the phone rang. Unfortunately I wasn't driving so I had to wait. Once inside we ordered and it took another 20 minutes for the chips n salsa which we alright. They fup our drinks several times. The food took forever to arrive . My dish was a grease pit of salty flavors, none which made the dish appealing. The beef was definitely over cooked. I enjoyed the valet parking as we pulled up, then we went in and were greeted immediately even though it was Saturday night and they were busy. The margaritas were delicious...I had one with a shot of grand marnier, just make sure you're not the driver if you order this! Nacho appetizer was a full plate enough for 4 to share, since we were 2 we took some home! I had a shrimp dish, on the spicy side but excellent flavors. I am a veteran of this establishment. I have easily gone here for at least 25 years. It pained me when it was closed for renovations and I was happy to see the place re-open. When I walked into this restaurant I was amazed how crowded it was on a Wednesday night. The parking lot was full, all the tables were taken and all the seats were filled. Luckily, I was coming in to place a to-go order, and I didn't wait long for 3 items. In fact, that was another thing I was surprised about was how quickly it came out. Figuring how crowded it was I thought I was going to wait awhile. The food was another big surprise. It was all so delicious. On the spicier end, but I like it with flavor and it was picture perfect.
