The decor was exceptional... Mexican culture and artistry was displayed in life size sculptures and colorful portraits throughout the establishment. Our service was great and food was plentiful. The cocktails are a work of art. It's worth a visit.

Amazing service, have been there twice. Bartender / Server Jessica is on point with recommendations and her service. Super nice and nice to chat with. The food is amazing and very authentic. Will always come here when I stay at the Element hotel. The first time I had the tostadas and the second time the chicken Enmoladas. Perfect balance of sauce.

We decided to give it a try since they were advertising $1tacos. When we got there we found out that you can only get one order of 4 tacos each. Which makes sense. We also ordered the guacamole with pork chunks. My husband loved it. The margaritas are $5 during happy hour and the glass is huge. We didn't even finish it. Overall we had a good meal on a budget and I would totally bring my kids back for that!

Do not order the 2 for 20 and expect to be able to take your left overs home... they are refusing to go containers on the 2nd half of the quesadilla I didn't eat! In addition for a party of 5 they added an 18% gratuity but never told us it was added, and the check reflects, suggested tip additions at the bottom of it. Big red flagsb

We pass by this Mexican spot all the time. It used to be called Al Toro so I guess they are recently under new management. I noticed a deal for all day $1 tacos on Monday/Tuesday (dine-in only), so hubby and I decided to come in on a Monday at around 5 to check it out. It was empty, since it was still pretty early. The deal is only for chicken and steak, so we each ordered two chicken and two steak. Both were good but nothing amazing. But for $1? You really can't beat that. I highly recommend their green salsa. We ended up ordering 5 more tacos in total after that but keep in mind - it's a four taco minimum. So even if you ordered a first round of four, and you just want another two, they won't let you do it. Note - they don't bring you water. You have to ask for it but make sure you just ask for tap water. Otherwise, they'll charge you for bottled water. My husband ordered a margarita (he said this was sickeningly sweet) and a beer, which was also a happy hour special. I got the vibes that they didn't like the fact we were only ordering the specials so just because of that, I probably wouldn't come back. Not worth the cheap tacos/effort.

This place is decorated extremely thoughtfully and it creates a very traditional environment. The waitress was very friendly and helped us decide what to get. They have a $1 tacos deal on tuesdays so we got a bunch of chicken and steak tacos, they are small so you'll need a few, they also have great margeritas. If you're looking for some mexican food and drinks at a reasonable price on a weeknight, check this place out!

Amazing food!!! Very flavorful and a good amount for the price. I got two meals out of it. We ordered on doordash, I'm sure it's even better in the restaurant. We live in Passaic and unfortunately many of our Mexican restaurants have gone downhill...this is our new spot for sure.

Pass this place all the time but today decided to dine! Really loved the coziness; vibe; music and food! Didn't take a photo of the spicy gratin chicken dish served with rice and black beans or our nacho with chicken! Very good!Service was excellent as well! We will definitely be back!

Can't recommend this Mexican restaurant enough! The service was great and very friendly! Menu is on a tablet- first for me! They will work with your dietary restrictions (if you have any, and I did) without a problem- they will work with you without a blink of an eye. Full bar with delicious drinks. And the food...HUGE portions and fresh! Decor is beautiful and authentic. Perfect local eatery! I heard there's Karoke, too...try this gem of a place!

While in town we decide to give these guys a try since it looked decent & one of the few places that seemed to be opened later. Yelp check in gets u a free order of Guacamole this was great & about as much as we could handle since we came here after dinner. Guacamole was very good, nice taste cute presentation. Drinks we had the Patrón Mango frozen margaritas , wow they are pretty big & have quite the kick to them, nice in taste & decent amount of alcohol. This place stands out fun decor, they had live entertainment the lady although dressed in like traditional Mexican dress was signing all kinds of music it was entertaining. We sat at the bar since we initially just wanted drinks, also worked better since the pace was not crowded it's a decent size restaurant. Good service at the bar , we enjoyed our app & drinks.

It was my time to expose my friend group to Polish cuisine, and boy is this the place to do it! We were immediately greeted by the authentic decor, furniture, and outdoor space of a Highlander restaurant in Poland. The furniture is hand carved and there are outfits and decorations straight from the motherland. You feel like you are in your grandmother's home- and in a good way! There is something to look at and admire around every corner. Our waitress was so welcoming and patient while we decided on a variety of orders. She greeted us with a warm smile, gave us plenty of time to select from the menu, and provided top-notch recommendations. The food - don't get me started. This is as good, if not better, than what I eat in Poland. We tried soups (the żurek- sour, but not overwhelming, well presented in a bread bowl, and with delicious boiled egg- and the red barszcz- a tangy beet soup), a "sampler platter" with gołąbki (mini stuffed cabbage with tomato sauce for pouring to your liking), and grilled kielbasa. We also opted for the rye bread, lard, and half sour pickles. Sounds odd, but don't knock it till you try it! It's not what you expect, very rich and filling. For my entrée, I had a thinly sliced breaded pork cutlet with mashed potatoes on the side and "mizeria" (Polish side salad with cucumbers, dill, and sour cream). It was so fresh and light. I loved it because it reminded me of summers with my grandma. The drinks were colorful, well presented, and strong! Definitely worth their $12+ price. Overall, this spot is a hit. There is plenty of parking on the street or across the street at the library. Everything from the service, ambiance, presentation, to the freshness and taste of the food was top-notch. This is the spot to visit if you want real Polish food. We will be coming back!

Our waitress Olivia was friendly and professional, solid recommendations throughout the meal. We went with fried pierogi for an appetizer, absolutely divine! My daughter played it safe with the chicken cutlet and fries but she enjoyed it very much and said that the seasoning differed from an Italian cutlet. I took advantage of the weekend special and had the mountain dumplings with mushroom gravy and side of goulash. Certainly a heavy dish but it was outstanding! Couldn't pass up the pistachio cake for dessert! Place is so good, I'll have to keep bringing family members!

Probably everyone in my family's favorite place for wings. Huge pieces with a large choice of seasoning rubs or sauces. BBQ'd ribs are so tasty & fall off the bone. In addition to chicken, they serve BBQ ribs, burgers, sandwiches, paninis, and wraps. They also have the classic comfort food sides like mac & cheese and cornbread. The interior is similar to a fast food take-out restaurant, but don't be fooled. They cook everything fresh on the spot using non-processed meat. Even their sauces are produced in small batches based on demand. Trust me, you'll be able to smell all of that deliciousness once you walk in. We were greeted by a friendly employee who gave us some recommendations on wing sauces. We ordered the Wing Sampler (~$22 for 15 pieces), fries (~$5), and cornbread (~$3). For our wings, we were able to choose up to 3 sauces. I was a bit disappointed that they don't offer any dry rubs, only wet marinades... dry rub or bust. We went with the Original Mild House Sauce, Sweet Thai, and Jerk Seasoning. The wings were huge, meaty, and tender! All of the sauces were delicious, but my favorite was the Sweet Thai. The jerk sauce had the right blend of ingredients, giving you that kick of heat and flavor. They went a bit heavier on the breading than what I prefer. I prefer no breading with a crunchy skin. The french fries were crispy. The corn bread was sweet and moist. We would return to try more wing flavors!

We were accommodated in their high-top table section and that was perfect. I really enjoy the charm, decor, and ambiance of The Ridge House. The colors throughout create a sophisticated and inviting atmosphere. Our Server, Skylar, did an exceptional job with her service. I also appreciated management coming to our table, and every table, asking if customers were enjoying their meal. I started with what I ordered during my first visit, TRH (The Ridge House) Margarita, and it was VERY GOOD. The hint of cucumber made this drink enjoyable and refreshing, as well. The other drink was The Flower Child Mocktail (mint and blueberry tea, lemon juice, spicy hibiscus syrup). This drink was served in a tall glass and every ingredient blended nicely. The entrees were: Chicken Parmesan (breaded chicken breast, roasted garlic tomato sauce, mozzarella, burrata, parmesan, basil). This was one of the best Chicken Parms I've ever tasted. The chicken was tender and the sauce and cheese covered the entire entree. Highly recommended. The other entree was something that I've never tried...Elote Pizza (Monterrey jack cheese, corn, poblano peppers, roasted red peppers, chicken, totija cheese, lime creme, cilantro & adobo vinaigrette). This was a very unique pizza which was crunchy, creamy, the corn flavor elevated the enjoyment, and it's also HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. If the entrees weren't enough, TRH outdid themselves with dessert. We ordered the Cookie Skillet (chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream). It was presented in a large cast iron skillet and it had enough ice cream to fill every spoonful of deliciousness.
