Do not bring your car here they will do a hack job just like their name. I brought my car in for a one day job that turned into 5 days. When I found out AAA had an "approved" vendor right here in Pacifica I decided to give Hacks a try. I could not be more pleased with the results. Jayme in the front office took incredible care of me - from scheduling, setting me up with a rental and making sure I got a mini-van rental so I wouldn't miss a field trip. Took my car there after it was suggested to me by my insurance company. Long story short, after I got the car back the first time, I noticed that not all damage was repaired. Took it back again, and after getting it back again, I was immediately told by their employee that she had noticed imperfections in the clear coat work that they did, and she said I would have to bring it back a third time. I then really examined the car and found that the paint blending was not properly done and that the re-painted areas just plain didn't match. I had an insurance adjuster come out, and she agreed that the work all needed to be re-done. I then took the car to another body shop to re-do all of the work, and in the process they found parts (connecting hardware and similar) on my car that had clearly been broken by Hack's when they had the car. The staff was friendly and nice, but the work was horrible. Especially when I made it clear that I was passionate about my car and would be going over everything with a fine tooth comb. Maybe I just had bad luck with them, as they have many favorable reviews, but I will never be going back. read more

Great service! Old school in the best ways. I took a Dodge Durango there many years ago for a bumper repair on my dime. They did a great job and returned the car, not only repaired, but cleaned. The thing I remembered about them was they even made the brake dust caked rims shiny and clean. Going the extra mile and showing pride in their work. The other day, when I made a mistake and cleaned a small section of the truck with something too abrasive... I really made a mess, scuffed the finish to dull matte... I took it there to see if they could do something about it. They took care of it (machine polish and buff) and had me out of there in 20 minutes. I couldn't believe it. That and they did it with a smile and genuine friendliness. They're one of the business that has on more than one occasion earned my loyalty. For auto body work, this is my shop of choice. read more

He won't hesitate to point out things other people would never notice and have a shop re-do it. He thinks Hacks is the best. They've always been super nice to me. Needed a bumper replaced and was assisted by Ian. Received an estimate via email within minutes after leaving. Brought car in on Monday and was ready by noon Wednesday of same week. Hacks did a great job - can't even notice it was a replaced bumper. Paint matched the old car paint. Had tail light replaced also. Received car vacuumed and washed! Unprofessional. Don't honor business hours. I called in advance and was told to bring my car by before 5pm the next day for something that probably could've taken 10-15 to fix. So I did - arriving at 4:30 the next day. But I was denied service because: "the guys are leaving early today. Can you bring your car back another time?" I was involved in a hit and run, I called Hacks and they took my car immediately and worked with my insurance directly. Took about 2 weeks to get my car back and they did amazing! My car looks amazing and the whole process was seamless. They called me every Tuesday and Thursday with updates, they also knew I really needed my car back and rushed at the finish line to make that happen and even got my car back cleaned inside and out. Took the car down for an estimate. Jesus twice what I got it done for. Guy came out bored and uninterested in the problem,. When he found out it was not insurance work they didn;'t really care. AWESOME customer service - I asked for the cheapest way possible to re-attach my bumper after it was scraped and hanging off - literally a couple hours and $50 (as in FIFTY) bucks later it looks like new. My car was hit and had some minor damage to the door. A couple of people I talked to recommended Hacks and said they had done a good job on their cars. They had also recently fixed the bumper on my parents car and did a good job. So I brought my car there, and unfortunately, I was not so satisfied. Within a day of dropping my car off I recieved a phone call that my car was finished. Only it wasn't finished! The bottom of the door was still dented in pretty badly. So I took it back and after a few days they called me and said it was fixed. I picked it up in the afternoon and everything looked ok. The next morning I went to work, and when I came out for my lunch the sun was out and I noticed all the swirl marks in the paint on my door! It looked horrible! Oh and not to forget that someone didn't put my door seal on correctly because when the car went 60 mph or more it had the most annoying air leak that I had to listen to all the way to Reno that weekend. When I got home from my vacation, I brought it back for them to fix. This time when I got it back the paint looked better, but the seal on my door was ruined. It has a hole in it at the top of the door and is starting to shred. I didn't even bother to call because I was already frustrated with the place and I figured they wouldn't be able to put a new one on correctly anyway. So I'm sure I will be replacing the door seal on my BRAND NEW CAR soon! I must say that the lady in the office is really nice and helpful though! read more
