I do love a good bargain, but there aren't many to be found here. I've come to the conclusion that outlet malls are soon to be a thing of the past, as their prices really aren't much (if any) lower than the regular stores. The only thing that kept me from giving them 2 stars was Wilson's Leather, where I was able to find 2 laptop bags, a purse, and a money pouch for $108.......pretty sweet deal! But everything else in this outlet mall was overpriced, poorly stocked, and the friendliness of the staff was hit or miss. Some stores suffocated me, making me feel as if I were suspected of shoplifting, while others didn't even acknowledge my existence. A few shops had some staff who were actually helpful, but overall I didn't feel like an appreciated customer. The food court was extremely crowded (this was on a Friday afternoon), but at least the restrooms were clean. Parking was alright, with enough spaces close enough to the shops that I didn't feel like I needed my running shoes to get from my car to the store. Overall, I'd say it's OK, but not great. read more

I heard about this outlet town center by a friend. I decided to check this place out during July 4th weekend to see special sales. It is located in Northern Maryland, near border of MD and PA. The drive is not bad from NoVa, as it was during weekend. The place is decent (bigger than Leesburg in my opinion) and definitely less people and more inventories. The stores I went in are definitely bigger and have more selections than outlet malls here. Parking is huge, so no worries on not finding a parking spot. read more

You can spend about 2 hours here. We went on Labor Day and got some good deals on designer purses: my sister got two wristlets from Coach that were marked down and she had printed out a 20% coupon. The kate spade store was marked down 40% off the lowest ticketed price. Other points of interest (for me, anyway) is the Cosmetics Company Store, which often has discontinued items from MAC, and any of the kitchenware stores. The food court is really small, crowded, with bad food options. Free wi-fi is offered in the food court, but I didn't have my netbook to test out its connectivity. Near the mall there is a Cracker Barrel, Longhorn Steakhouse, and Waffle House. It is not the best outlet mall but you will probably find something if you look long enough. It also appears to be dog-friendly, as I saw lots of people walking their dogs today. Why you would take your dog with you to go outlet shopping is beyond me, but hey, Vendi, Vista, Visa, Poodle. read more

I venture out to this outlet mall from Baltimore once or twice a year and almost always leave happy and with something I'm really excited about, so I think it's worth the drive. Yesterday my husband and I went and came home with SO. MUCH. STUFF. I was most impressed that we bought a bunch of gifts at Harry & David for under $30. There's an excellent holiday clearance sale going on now - pumpkin spice pancake mix for like a dollar? Buy them all! We live a lot closer to other outlet malls but I like to make the trip out to this one particularly for the North Face outlet. And I was stoked to find an awesome pair of running shoes in the youth section of the Nike outlet for less than half of what I paid for basically the same pair of shoes, in a different color, at a major department store. The only things I was disappointed with yesterday was the selection of jewelry at Kate Spade, I usually always find something I can't live without there, and that the Restoration Hardware outlet is GONE. If you get there early it's way less crowded, which might be kind of obvious but worth mentioning that we arrived around 10:30 and there were less than half the amount of cars in the lot than there were when we headed out around 1. For people that complain about the food court...it's an outlet mall food court not a 5-star resort destination. Get a gd Auntie Anne's pretzel and shut your face, you know they're freaking delicious. Or pack a sack lunch you whiners. Lastly, I definitely recommend signing up for the Premium Outlets VIP thing on their website. you can print a voucher for a "special" coupon book. The sales change and are kind of hit or miss, but like right now TNF Outlet has a promotion for 10% off when you spend $100...it's easy to spend $100 there, so worth putting in your email address and stopping by the customer service center (located in the food court) to pick up the coupons. Plus, perfect excuse to stop and get that big greasy pretzel. read more

Outlet malls ain't what they used to be. It seems many stores now make merchandise that is similar to what's being sold in retail stores and sell it for a few bucks less. For example, you would be much better off waiting for sales at a mall J Crew than buying from the factory store. Similarly, stores like Marshall's sell Nike and UA for wayyy less than I've ever seen at the outlets. Still, it's worth coming out just to get out of town for a bit, especially if it's a nice day so you can enjoy it being an outdoor mall. Some stores like North Face and Ralph Lauren have hidden gems sometimes. For the tree huggers, went I went last week I noticed the parking lot now has charging stations. read more

My parents live in West Virginia, so this is the go to "mall" in the area. My kids love shopping at stores such as Ralph Lauren, Banana Republic and Pac Sun. I prefer online shopping or at a retail shopping center with department stores. Nonetheless, I will continue shopping here when I'm visiting my parents. Also, they do not have a Michael Kors store here. I prefer not to make a purchase from the Coach store as most of their bags are made for the outlet ( just look inside the bags and the "F" in front of the serial number signifies factory brand. read more

The average of 3 stars seems to be about right. Seems like the outlet may be going through a bit of transition right now. Some stores gone, some moving, a few open spaces. They've recently moved some of the kiddie rides and put some investment into the grounds. The biggest downfall is the store selection which isn't what it once was. Too much competition among the outlets, I guess. The nicest thing about visiting Hagerstown Premium Outlets is probably the people. The clerks tend to be locals and they're so much nicer than the help you run across in some other area outlets, especially those closer to DC. Favorite stores for us are: Coach, Johnston & Murphy, Soma, Jos a Banks, Columbia, Polo, and LOFT. Would love to see a Cole Haan join the outlet. read more

The location is very easy to get to from the highway, and has a large parking lot, pretty easy to find a space close. Good variance in stores, but I seemed to miss the "outlet" sales! The exception being two stores that I saw, most other stores had the same sales as any mall store, making me sad :( usually I find good deals and they just weren't there! As an early birthday treat for myself, I made a spontaneous decision to stop by in the middle of my trip from Germantown to Pittsburgh. I'm very glad I did! I've been meaning to expand my wardrobe with more fashionable clothes (I can wear the same t-shirts, jeans, and jackets for so long without the local barista starting to notice). I came on a cold and dreary weekday afternoon, so the lot barely had any cars. Except for a few shoppers walking about, the entire outlet seemed deserted. I suppose it was all the better for me. All of my experiences at outlets have been bordering on claustrophobic, with hundreds of shoppers walking about and bumping into each other, fearing for my safety (and my wallet's safety!). The layout of the outlet is a nice square-ish area, which I think is better than the Leesburg Premium Outlet's long rectangular construction. I haven't been to half the stores here or the food court, but judging from my first trip here, I am happy with what I saw. I will try to come here again to get a better sense of it, but for now, I will give it 4 stars! read more

I'm bucking the trend and giving this outlet center a good review! We usually go to the Leesburg, VA center but came up here because of the New Balance store. We were sad that LL Bean was gone, but we knew that coming in. Yes, the food court is small, so in my experience, most food courts at outlet centers are small. Maybe the one in Leesburg is bigger, but I never eat there anyway. This was, by far, the busiest outlet center I've ever been to. It was a Saturday afternoon in the middle of summer but people were definitely shopping! Pretty good selection of stores, with about a half-dozen empty store fronts. A Longerberger basket store just opened the other day and people were flocking to it like crazy. Tons and tons of parking. The lady working the customer service desk in the food court was very friendly and helpful. There are lots of benches and tables and chairs to sit down at/on to ease your aching legs. There are a few stores that we like to go to that aren't here, so we will split our time between here and Leesburg (and a few other centers) but we really liked it! read more

This outlet mall features all the standard stores usually found in outlet malls, for example: -Banana Republic -J. Crew -Nike I've noticed a disturbing trend among outlet malls, in which their prices are not actually cheaper than the actual retail stores anymore. I have been here about 6 times. Half the times I have found great bargains, buy one- get one free. I have wide feet so I buy mens shoes and found a great pair on clearance. Other times I have went they have the same stuff but no real good sales. I come from DC so its a trek out. But I like this store. read more

What you'd expect from an outlet mall. Quite a lot of stores and a nice atmosphere. Seemed clean and had lots of parking. The food court did only have about six choices, but covered the main fare found in most food courts. Overall it was a good experienece and I'm sure we'll be back. read more

Last time I was here Under Armour had 40% off in their entire store for both adult and youth stores. Also had a great sale in Nike. What more to like? Outlet Malls where people think they are getting a great deal but usually tend to spend more money on things they don't really need. This outlet has a few decent stores For Kids: Children's Place, Ouch Games & Toys, Toys R Us, Gymoboree, Osh Kosh For Men: UnderArmour, Nike For Women: Coach, Guess,, and other stores I don't pay attention too. The place has a nice layout for walking around and even on Black Friday parking wasn't an issue. The place was busy but not too crazy to walk around. I enjoyed my experience and like the ice cream vending machines. It is right off the exit but can be a little crazy to enter and exit from the place. read more

The Hagerstown outlets are outside of the dmv. I was hoping to be thrilled but at least they had the basic stores polo, Nike, and brooks brothers. I didn't find any super good deals. I was able to purchase two pair of shoes and socks for 115. 00 can't beat that. read more

I do like this outlet! I would give 3.5 stars for the whole shopping experience. It has some stores that I would maybe go out of my way to browse, like Kate Spade and North Face. I've found some pretty good deals at G.H. Bass too. Overall, it has a pretty good variety of stores. It'll depend on your luck whether you find a good deal on something you're actually looking for! I don't understand why people rate this place so low... I think it helped me save around $70-80 (in a $250 total shopping) compared to department stores. I come from Clarksburg,MD and it took me 45 minutes to reach here on the saturday after black friday. Every store claims to have a huge discount but as one can imagine that is not true at all times. You have to have a knowledge of the price of the item you are looking for to really know whether you save or not (market search always pays off..) I found adidas, north face, levi's, gap, harstrings of good value in several of the discounted items. I spent 6 hours total and visited over 15 shops. For good deals you have to search and search and search... There is no simple answer. I have not used the food corner so I can not comment, but the restrooms were clean and parking was not a big problem at all. My only complaint is the open air organization of this place (it was freezing cold and I had two under three years old kids), but I don't decrease points for that because it is a general outlet mall problem, not specific to this place. read more

If I had written this three or four years ago, it would have gotten two more stars. However, 1/3-1/2 of the outlets are now vacant. Nike is gone, Fossil is gone, Under Armour is still there, however, their selections in store have dropped since my last visit there in 2018. It seems like this place is starting to empty out as a result of another outlet center (also owned by Simon) being opened a little further up 70 in Clarksburg. The one thing about this place that is great, is the North Face outlet. The selection, deals and staff at that store alone made it worth the drive from Winchester to Hagerstown to come here. If it wasn't for that store, I'd save the time and hassle and just go to the Leesburg Outlets, which has a lot more with the exception of North Face. If Hagerstown Outlets loses that store, I'd say a lot of others will be following suit. Also, clean up the food court and restrooms in the food court, those were in bad shape on my visit there a couple weeks ago. read more

Yesterday (12/26), my family and I spent 7 hours at this outlet! I think many stores have very good deals and if you enroll to become a member for the first time, you can get a coupon book (that you pick up at customer service in the food court area). The deals will probably change due to holidays and times of the year, but I'll summarize the deals that I remember! I went to Columbia (mostly 40% off), Tommy Hilfiger (tons of super great deals-most things at least 50% off), Coach (many things were 50% off or more), Rack Room Shoes (didn't think their prices were that cheap), Adidas (great deals on certain sneakers and apparel), Nike (great deals on certain sneakers), Eddie Bauer (mostly 50% off items), Aeropostale (all 80% off but it was their liquidation sale), and Bass&Co (I saw some good deals on winter accessories). read more

I came to to this outlet location several months ago and I have to admit l, it was a huge disappointment. The stores here do not have the variety you would find at the Prime Outlets in Queenstown (not sure if I went on a bad day).The food court is also a joke (yeah, I know it sounds weird, I'm complaining about the food court). There's no variety and most of the places there I've never heard of. There is plenty of parking which is a plus. And the scenic drive from D.C. To Hagerstown is nice too. Other than that, I will probably not return to this location. read more

Hagerstown is my favorite outlet in the greater DC area. Its selection isn't that different from most of the other area 'Premium' outlets, but they have all the staples I need (Ann Taylor, Banana, Loft, GAP, J. Crew, Coach, etc.). The shopping center is pretty easily walkable and the hours are long enough that they're never closing until after I'm already out of steam. Plus the food court, while not anything to write home about, is a place where you can eat while shopping, and that's a step up over some other outlets around here. (National Harbor, wtf?) I'm signed up to get emails from a handful of outlet/factory stores when they have special sales, so I know when it'd probably be worth making a trip to the outlet. If you're into savings and coupon stacking, you should do that! read more

Downgrading to 3 stars. The LLBean outlet has closed, and the last time I visited, I found precious little I wanted to buy....and the deals just were not that great. If you are in the market for kids' clothes, though, you'll definitely have a number of stores to choose from. read more

A nice place with a decent number of shops, but there's something stale about the atmosphere. It lacks the liveliness of most outlet malls. If you're in the area it's of use, but I wouldn't really recommend the drive from elsewhere. read more

The manager in Gymboree rang up my friend and did not tell her that she was only $8 away from her next $25 gym bucks. Then when my friend asked to be rang up again with an extra item to receive the next $25 in Gym bucks the manager acted like we were intruding on her. She was very very rude and rolled her eyes while she fixed her mistake. As a manager of a Gymboree she should have known how to preform her job correctly. With being in the public service position she should have kept her emotions in check and should not have displayed any negative attitude. Period. read more

I've been going to these outlets for over 13 years! Love the variety, the stores, DISCOUNTS especially! They have a North Face Outlet from which I've purchased many items from in my closet, totally amazing deals. Nice place to walk around in nice weather. read more

These outlets have a nice selection of shops. I really love the Banana Republic outlet. The prices are great compared to regular stores. There are always sales. One thing that would vastly improve these outlets would be to have a better food court. It is absolutely terrible. Go for the shopping (check out their store directory), but skip the food. I really like this outlet! It has a huge variety of shops, a large food court, and it's super clean everytime I come here. My favourite stores are the North Face, Gap, Aldo, Banana Republic, Express, and Kate Spade. I always find good deals, especially in clearance! You won't be finding high end designers here. We make this one of our rest stops between Pittsburgh and Southern Maryland. You'll find the usual selection of outlet type store here and it's a nice area to walk around. I would avoid the lemonade stands that you see around in the summer. It was easily the worst lemonade I've ever had. read more

I was looking for winter coats for the family got good deals for my son and one for me and my hubby. The eater is a joke but did enjoy a pretzel pepperoni pizza and. A lemonade cherry slushy. Over all are travel was an hour but didn't feel like amazing saving it was decent. read more

These outlets are pretty decent, unless it's a hot summer day. Being outside in blistering heat and shopping is not a good combination.
