Boss amazing and nice, sandwich's really good, try's to build community with customers

"This restaurant serves amazing subs that are absolutely delicious! The flavors are on point, and every bite is satisfying. A great spot for a quick and tasty meal!

    Italian with Salt & Vins!
    Matt R.

I'd been curious about this place ever since I saw the commercials & the closest one was in Palo Alto. The customer service was great! I had the Italian, and the sandwich came promptly enough. It's very much like Quizno's, maybe a little better. Based on my experience, I'd definitely be back. Glad to know there's another solid sandwich spot!

    Italian sandwich. So good!

This review is for both yesterday and today's visit. Yes, I enjoyed it so much yesterday that I came back today! Yesterday I discovered that I had enough points for a free sandwich (Yea!), so I ordered the Italian, which I'd never had before. I didn't think I'd like the dressing on it, but it was very good. All in all the total for my meal was under $5 with chips and a drink. I love that you can choose any size drink and it's the same price. Today I returned to take advantage of the triple point offer and opted for the Turkey Bacon Ranch. It too was very good. The downside of this place is that the subs are really small, but the price is big. On a previous visit, I thought about ordering a large sub instead of a medium, but $10 is insane, even for good food. Yes, I'll definitely be back. I wish there was a location closer to me as it's a bit of a drive (although luckily I found a way to get here that allows me to avoid the highway. One other thing I don't like about this location is that it's not very accessible. There are stairs to every entrance of every building which is unfortunate, since I have a hard time with those. I noticed that there "may" be an accessible entrance in the corner of the 'strip mall' , but it's very hidden. Very unfortunate that it most likely deters those with disabilities due to the lack of accessibility. Another thing I wanted to point out was the employee who took my order. He was civil, but I wouldn't really call him customer service oriented. There are so many aps for rewards points at different restaurants that I get confused. The reason I went there today is because of the triple points, but I was having trouble remembering how to receive the points (via ap or entering my phone number). The guy got really annoyed when I gave him my phone number after ordering and told me that I was supposed to do it beforehand. I apologized and he was nice about canceling the order and letting me give my phone number again. It would be nice if they would ask if you wanted to enter your phone number for rewards points, since the company made the effort to email customers about them in the first place. Four stars for great food, though!

This is supposed to be potato soup. It was dry and not good at all.

Service was decent, sandwich was good. Soup wasn't remotely soup. I would rather the staff just told me it was nasty or that it was sitting there all day. I will go back I just hate wasting money on food I cannot eat.

That's my order of Italian & New York Steamer

Typically slow service, but the sandwiches are great. Make sure to specify cold or toasted, they don't go 100% by the menu board.

I loved that I saw at least six versions of my childhood dining room table, which felt so nostalgically comfortable that I wanted to crawl under one with my coloring books and my chocolate milk. But I digress -- you're supposed to be reading my review. I decided that I was in the mood for grilled cheese and tomato soup, so that's what I ordered. The tomato soup is really amazing -- so fresh tasting and delicious. But the sandwich was next level nom-ness. I opted to get it on sourdough because it's the best for dunking into the soup. It definitely worked on me - usually specials are relegated to a small corner of the menu, but here they are front and center. I couldn't resist and so I got the Pot Roast Dip. It's a sandwich that has a good amount of pot roast, some bacon jam that's glued together with provolone and Swiss cheese all on a Giuseppe roll (From Macrina Bakery? It's a crust roll). The bacon jam and sandwich dressing makes the sandwich really sweet, but the Angus sauce is very salty, and so when the sandwich is dipped it all balances out interestingly enough. It was good to try, but I think I'll order something else next time. I also got a Mocha latte- very smooth and delicious. I would get this again! Their bathrooms are shared with the rest of the building - the code is at the cashiers. The wifi password is right next to it too. You grab a menu, wait in line to order, and then they bring your food to you. Bus your own table when you're done. Solid spot.

Hated the texture. Tofu Soba: 3/5. HUGE portion. It was ok, sauce is interesting, acidic yet sweet. It doesn't taste great the next day. Lots of Tofu pieces. Fried pickles: 2/5 so greasy and salty. Not for me! Lemon coconut mocktail: 5/5. I had 2 of these, so good and refreshing. Pineapple crush: 2/5 disappointing. Needs to have more bubbles. Dessert was disappointing.
