I had a very disturbing experience at this salon on March 13, 2026. I went in for a relaxer service…read moreafter already detangling my hair beforehand. During the process, the stylist caused my hair to become extremely tangled, knotted, and even started falling out. Another customer in the salon became concerned and had to step in to tell the stylist to stop. She even used her own personal conditioner to try to help untangle my hair because it had become so badly matted. Despite this, my hair could not be properly fixed. Instead of apologizing, the stylist became frustrated and said she "hates people with problems" and claimed my hair was probably in braids for too long, which was not true. I came to the salon prepared for the service. What made the situation worse is that no one apologized and the salon still charged me, even though I had to leave with conditioner in my hair and it completely undone because they could not detangle it. The experience was humiliating and very unprofessional. I trusted them with my hair and left feeling embarrassed and distressed. I hope the salon improves its professionalism and treatment of customers. I would not recommend this salon based on my experience.

I was then scheduled with Bianca (the only reason this place is getting 3 stars) who did an amazing job and knows how to keep a positive atmosphere. She took her time which for me is everything because it proves she truly does take her work serious. She did BEAUTIFUL highlights on me, constantly checking on the bleach, and knowing what i wanted during consultation. Danny was rude towards the end at check-out ,as most of my tip went to Bianca of course as she spent over 7 hours on my hair. Danny charged me 330 dollars (not complaining, i knew the price before i walked in the door) for a 5 minute haircut which does not compare to 7 hours, then you wanna be rude because of the $110 tip difference between you and your employee? After hearing how Danny canceled an appointment because of a sudden " family death " which later popped out with instagram posts on vacation, he is the type to steal the tip. As I was leaving I told him " Bye, have a good night." this man looked me dead in the eye as I walked out. I am not upset nor mad, just glad that I know I will never step foot in this salon again. 2 other male hairdressers made sneaky comments about my sister thinking I couldnt hear them. I mean honestly their work is beautiful, they have hands full of skills... but the attitudes, side comments, going nonverbal, its not for me. Customer service is everything to me. From the minute, you walk in the door, are you here in Spanish music blasting in the background like if it was a salsa nightclub! All of the women working in the salon minus the owner speak no English so communication between client and stylist is nonexistent! As I sat with one of the hairdressers doing my hair, the owner had an older lady in her chair because the older lady asked questions. She met me at home after work, she did a "Keratin cocktail" on my hair, using Mocha silk on most of it and the original formula on the front/ top. Alright so against my will (bc my hair was so perfect) I washed my hair last night. Did a quick dry with the blow drier (half ass blow dry as I call it). My hair looks like I've straightened it. It's not as pin straight as it was yesterday. But it looks like what it would look like if I had spent 45 minutes straightening my hair. I've been doing keratin on my hair for a few years now and it always stays semi perfect for at least the first 2 months and then you start seeing the new growth and some faded pieces. I had requested an appointment using the Yelp option and was pleasantly surprised when I got a response within 10mins. The stylists here are all really nice and knowledgeable at what they do, I give kudos to people who ask questions about a service and say "so and so would be better for it" and send you their way. Walking in here it felt as though I knew the ladies for years, everyone was polite and said hello when the door opened. Audra styled my hair into jumbo box braids and was actually extremely quick. I was prepared to spend all day here but it only took about 4 hours total, which makes me super happy since I have a hard time sitting still lol. Anywho, she even took the time to educate me on how to take care of my natural curls and recommend products that would help it retain moisture once I take it out of the protective style. The hairdresser and I were in a disagreement about the COMPLETELY IRRATIONAL price she tried to charge me for blow-drying my shoulder length, wavy hair.. She was overcharging me and became very defensive when I tried to negotiate with her. She had threatened to call the police on me when I told her I was willing to give her $20 less than what she was asking for. Once she had the cash in her possession, she proceeded to SMACK ME IN MY FACE AND RIP THE HAIR NET OFF MY HEAD AS I WAS SITTING IN THE CHAIR UNABLE TO DEFEND MYSELF. When I had got up, the 2 other hair dressers were surrounding me and would not let me leave, blocking me from the door. The hairdresser attempted to throw water on me. I had to call the police to try to get myself out. The by-standers in the salon did not intervene or try to help as I was at point cornered and helpless. As I had finally found a way, one of the hairdressers ruined my hair by spraying water. I WILL be pressing charges against the hairdresser and there WILL be consequences. This type of behavioral is ABSURD, UNPROFESSIONAL AND ALARMING. AS A CUSTOMER, PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE TYPE OF WOMEN RUNNING THIS SALON. This type of behavior in a hair salon is completely unheard of and EMBARASSING to say the least. I was not disrespectful to anyone, I never cursed or raised my voice. I was not aggressive towards her and I left peacefully. This is NOT how you treat a PAYING customer. A complaint will also be made to the state cosmetology department and I will be following up with the North Miami PD.
