Needed an appointment since my beautician was booked, she recommended Stephanie. Stephanie was nice. I really like the fact that she uses Style Seat to do online booking appointments and final payments. I also like the fact that you are taken on time! I had to wait like 5 minutes for the customer to gather her belongings and leave the booth but she was ready for me. This makes my life easier especially when scheduling hair appointments. The ability to see their schedule helps me plan my day around it. She is also very close to home which is another plus. She specializes in wigs and showed me one that she made and the quality was very good. I typically stick to my beautician, but when she is booked, I will return to Stephanie! 1st I want to send a huge THANK YOU to Tasha (owner). I called her yesterday to tell her about my hair crisis. She was able to get me a SAME DAY appointment with Stephanie. Stephanie was very personable and professional, yet down-to-earth. I love that she was sympathetic to my hair issue and was able to make me feel comfortable and relaxed. I have a lot of hair but it is fine in texture. So I am always worried about the hump of the braid down showing through my hair. Stephanie's braid down technique is so flat that you can't tell the difference and I'm not self conscious of the way my hair is laying down. Stephanie, you have a new client! My birthday was coming up and I was looking everywhere for someone to help me install a synthetic wig for my big night out. I've called several places and no one seemed to understand what I was looking for or had too many concerns with my "cheap wig". The second I called Hair Bar 264 and talked to Stephanie, I knew immediately, she KNEW what I was looking for and I felt confident in her skills. I came in the next day (she was very great with scheduling me in last minute), and she went straight to work. I love how quick and to the point she was vs the other salons I went to, to get my wig install consultation. I knew nothing about wigs and Stephanie was able to answer all my questions and styled me in the way I wanted, cutting it and leveling it out. I would definitely come back again to have her install my other wigs. At my event, nobody even knew it was a wig, not even my close friends, they all thought I cut and dyed my hair and magically changed my hairline haha. Thanks Stephanie!! read more

I am in the midst of filing a POLICE REPORT on this salon because the stylist known as STEPHANIE ASSAULTED ME at the salon. When she repeatedly did not do my hair the way I asked she began to cuss at me and tell me that I am the worst client she has had. When I told her I did not feel like I should pay someone the full amount who is cussing me out SHE FORCEFULLY PUSHED ME TO THE BACK OF THE SALON AND CORNERED ME. She began threatening me and told me to "Go cry to my Mamma". THIS IS NOT SOMEWHERE YOU SHOULD EVER EVER EVER SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. I still have red marks on my chest from where she pushed me. I am filing a police report now, and also a report with the better business bureau. I repeat DO NOT GO TO HER. Also my hair does not look at all like I wanted it, but understandably that is the least of my worries. read more

Stephanie, do NOT get your hair done by her. I came in on 06/09/19, to get a weave done. I had her take down the original weave she put in after 2 months, to do it again. Stephanie, not only rushed, she became impatient and did my install wrong. She was not willing to FIX her mistakes because she was lazy. The tracks are not flat and it looks like there's a crown on my head. I've NEVER had such a bad experience with a hairdresser before and how UNPROFESSIONAL she was. I paid $200, and she's not willing to please her customers by correcting the sew in she knowingly ruin. I'm asking for the shop owner to reach out to me , as this is a reflection of the company. read more

I'm so happy with my results she was so patient with me as I'm a super picky client when it comes to my hair. My mom told me about this place because she gets her extensions done here by Janell and she always do a good job on my moms hair, now here's where I come into the picture. I was going on a trip and needed someone to flat iron my hair FYI I am a Naturalista and I wear my hair in it's natural state 95% of the time it's curly, I couldn't find anyone that would do my hair so my mom called Janell and asked her if she could do it but also made sure to let her know that I am a natural hair girl and worried about heat damage. Janell gave me a call and reassured me that my hair would be fine since I don't put heat on my hair but once every few year's, so I made a appointment for 1/14 she was so nice and professional. This place is a true blessing. I called on Sunday around 11.30 am because of a horrendous weave I received the day before from another salon. I needed urgent help. I truly did not expect a call back. Businesses say they will call you but rarely due. The owner Tasha called me back within the hour listened to my story and requested I send pics of the bad weave. She sprung into into action. I was scheduled at 4pm that day. All I can say is I am so happy she was able to correct my weave in a short period of time with a cost effective price. The staff was so professional and accommodating. They reassures me that everything would be fine. They were so right. For any hair care needs this is your one stop shop. High quality is hair is sold there are well as top notch stylists to do your installment. You are made to feel at ease as soon as you enter this gorgeous salon. I highly recommend this salon.
