This place doesn't deserve one star. It's a complete rip off and the results can be achieved by a 5 year old. I asked for someone to just go over my washed and dry hair. The lady working scammed me into sitting down for less than 5 minutes and just brushed my hair (not even with a round brush) and charged me $30 for a 5 min job. She did not explain thoroughly what she was going to do and had no sympathy when I provided her with my feedback and how unsatisfied I was with the outcome. It's a one stop shop for blow outs, make up (arpineh is a master), lash lift( Angie has really brought the process so comfortable and fast) color, etc... I've been getting my eyebrows done by Angie for almost 10 years now and she never fails to amaze me with her skill and preciseness. I always get compliments and people asking me where I go! On top of that, their haircuts and hair stylings are the most amazing I've gotten, they do exactly what you ask for and I never leave the salon unhappy. Arpie's makeup is also UNMATCHED. I always get oily when I get my makeup professionally done, but ever since I started getting my makeup done by Arpie, I don't get oily one bit. WARNING!!!!! Do not go here, especially if your hair is blonde. First off, they are unethical and quite you a different price and then add money afterwards if your hair is in their opinion, "thick". Secondly, they don't know how to color blondes. I went in for a simple partial root highlight and left w carrot top roots because the bleach wasn't left on long enough and the toner product didn't tone (even after 2 attempts). Thirdly, they don't even blow dry your hair and put a tiny bit of serum and no heat product afterwards. I'm appalled at how bad this service was and their bathroom was horrible (looked like a trap house). I normally don't write bad reviews like this, but just trying to pay it forward by warning others to avoid this place at all costs. read more

I have nothing but absolutely amazing things to say about this salon and everyone working there. The service is amazing, the salon is so clean, and the people, Arax, Angie, and Arpie are phenomenal and very catering which is difficult to find these days. I've been threading and blow drying my hair with Angie for a few years now. I have gone to previous salons for my eyebrows but Angie is the only person who has ever listened to me. I like to keep my eyebrows thick and she is always so patient about letting it grow and not touching them until they are full enough to be perfected. I am extremely happy with pretty much every single blow dry I have had. Angie blow dries my super thick hair perfectly and then takes the time to wave/curl it. I have been gong to Arax for four years. She is a superb hair colorist , stylist and cutter. Arix is supported by her two lovely twin daughters, Angie and Arpie. The girls are experts at threading, make-up, hair styling and blow drying. The atmosphere is congenial and the prices are fair. Stay far away! First of all, their prices are arbitrary. I've been there a few times. The owner seemed to size me up according to how much I "could" pay, and then, knowing I lived nearby, jacked up the price, which was still negotiable. But even worse - they did a horrible job putting fake eyelashes on to the point that now some of my eyelashes are permanently curled. I don't know what they did, but it was awful. Super overdue review, but this place is a great hidden gem for hair cut & color! My very first visit, I was walking by the salon and happened to pop my head in to check it out. Arax greeted me immediately, I explained I was just looking since I got a really bad haircut a month prior. But she reassured me and completely fixed my former terrible cut, since then I've only been going to Arax :) Recently she took my virgin hair and did an amazing ombré look, and I'll be going back every few weeks to maintain my hair and trim. If you are looking for a good hairdresser go somewhere else! My mother in law goes to her and recommended this salon. She described me the opposite of what I experienced today. I guess they either like your face or they don't. First of all the salon is absolutely disgusting!! I used the restroom and they put their dirty dishes on the sink of their customer's restroom. The flush is broken and there's no way you can wash your hands with all this mess. No prices were written anywhere. Arax clearly prices you upon your face and made sure she put the color on my hair before giving me her insane price estimate. I asked for a trim and told her I wanted to keep my hair long she chopped at least 10cm off my hair. I felt like she just did whatever she wanted with my hair, felt rushed, she pulled my hair so badly as she was brushing it, it was everything but a relaxing moment. At some point, I got colors in my eyes as she was washing my hair. Did not even offer a Towel i had to wipe it off with my shirt. I spent 3 hours there and they didn't even asked me if I wanted some water or anything. I left the salon with color all over my forehead and conditioner in my ears. She supposedly gave me a good price and did me a favor because my mother in law goes there. I ended up paying $350 for an average (at best) color and cut. Oh! And she asked me to Venmo her so she doesn't pay for the fees. If you have the audacity to charge your clients what you ask for make sure to put a smile on your face, offer water when it's 95 degrees outside and clean up your salon. No wonder why this salon is always empty. This was the joke of a lifetime. read more

Decent place, very pricey. The women there are nice and friendly, but layers are not the hair dressers forte. I asked for long layers, and to try and keep my length... I ended up with a little over an inch being chopped off and uneven layers, which was 85$. Now I have to spend more money at another salon to have my hair fixed.
