I was just getting a trim, but she was so meticulous and asked all the right questions so I would get what I went in for. Sometimes you'll get hairdressers that try to point out the flaws of your last cut, or things that need to be fixed, but Blue was very complimentary and sweet. After she blow dried my hair, I realized I should have asked for more to be trimmed off. I felt so guilty, but she was so kind and immediately offered to trim more. After she was done, it was perfect! This salon feels really clean, modern, and airy - plus it's in a great location. Make sure to ask for Blue, she's the best.

I went in for a spiral perm with clear reference photos and left with a result that did not match what was discussed and was assured was possible. Within weeks, the curl continued to fall out, and at this point there is very little curl remaining--even with styling products; what a loss of $460! After multiple attempts to follow up with Pamela Coryell the owner and Piage their "perm specialists", I did not receive any timely responses from either. When Pamela did finally reply, my concerns were dismissed and the outcome was blamed on my "hair canvas", including claims that my ends were lightened and too porous. This is simply not accurate--my hair is NOT colored, and I have had previous spiral perms which held well 8+ months and have matched the spiral perm look requested. To be certain I was not off my rocker, I had another salon in evaluate my hair that very same week I got the perm, and they confirmed the perm did not properly take, did not reflect what was asked for and they said I should be refunded. What's most disappointing is the lack of accountability from Salon Technique. Instead of acknowledging that the service fell short, the responsibility was redirected onto me the client! I requested multiples times for a refund and was denied and the only offer sent back was that I could return and re-perm little ares here and there with no promise that they would take! UNBELIEVABLE - I'm sharing this so others can make an informed decision. My experience says beware and do not go here. I expected professionalism and accountability, and unfortunately this salon does not hold to this level of professionalism. My natural hair is thick, wavy on the inside, half straight-half wavy on the outside, and it just wasn't working for me. Booking an appointment over the phone was easy and I appreciated her upfront pricing and time estimate. My perm plus haircut took about 5 hours total. I rolled the dice on a local salon and asked for a soft natural look on my dark hair. They bleached 80% of my head. Went back to fix it. Came out looking like a tiger. Orange, blonde, dark brown, black, all at once. Went back a third time. Left fully orange. My hair was nearly beyond repair. I reached out to Ashley. She had me come in for a consultation on a Wednesday, saw the damage in person, saw my inspiration picture, and was shocked. We booked that same Friday. She blow dried between every round to check the tone. Never rushed once. Fed me her favorite Korean snacks and got me completely hooked. By the end of that night she nailed it. My hair actually turned out darker than when I went in. I went in two days later and showed them the color. Instead of scheduling a time for me to come back and get a full weave with the color I picked out, they put some kind of a color rinse on, washed it out and had me out the door in 1/2 hour. I will pay for the $40 haircut that was in addition to the $300 color treatment and I will pay for the rinse they put on, but I will not pay $300 for a disastrous color treatment that they did not properly address and make right. I emailed all this to the shop but they have yet to respond.

I got a long layered haircut with some curtain bangs, and cost me $130. I only complain a little because I'm broke lol but otherwise I suppose it was worth it, because it's one of the better haircuts I've gotten in my life. Also, my hair was extremely long (butt length) but Alice handled it well and was also able to finish the haircut in about an hour.
