After a troubled history with stylists not understanding how to work with my blonde color and keep my hair healthy through the bleaching process I was so disappointed and felt a little hopeless. My hair had been fried from being heavily bleached about a year ago. Then I went to a hairstylist to go back to my natural color but ended up with orange tones as she put brown in my hair. I had my hair done by CeCe. I went for a consultation appointment few weeks ago. She recommended some products that I should use BEFORE I made the appointment because my hair was so dry. I used the products and it really make a lot of difference in my hair. My hair was shiny and soft. I appreciate the fact that she did not rush into the appointment just so she could get the client. I made the appointment for cut and color. I have some grey's that I wanted touched up and I also wanted some Blue in my hair. I wanted the blue to be very subtle so there was just a hint of the blue. Cece did a great job in understanding exactly what I wanted. I have gotten so many compliments on my hair. The Blue is barely noticeable, which is perfect for me. I have dark hair so I did not want to bleach a whole lot. It is just enough for someone to notice that it is there. She also put some hair treatment in the coloring so my hair won't dry out as much. Let me just say, I HAVE FOUND MY STYLIST!!! From the moment I walked in, Cece was very personable and charismatic- which definitely set the tone of the appointment. I told her what I wanted showed her a picture of how I wanted it to be. Finding someone who truly understands long, curly hair is a challenge, but Cece is a pro--she specializes in the Ouidad cut and knew exactly how to handle my texture. The salon itself is located inside Sola Salon Studios and is incredibly clean, professional, and beautifully decorated. Beyond her technical skill, Cece is so kind, welcoming, and bilingual; I felt like I'd known her for years by the time I left! Her niece, Joannie, was also there and is incredibly sweet, making the whole environment feel even more personal and inviting. I travel quite a bit for my sales job. I had a phenomenal colorist in Southern California and would schedule my work around her availability. But now, she is no longer is working . After a year of different colorist attempting to give me the color effect I wanted throughout my travels, I finally found Cece!! Cece is my hair savior!! She really knows how to cut long layers. I have really thick, long hair that has a natural wave and I'm always worried trying to find a hairstylist that can manage my challenging hair- CeCe exceeded my expectations! I have been going to CeCe for a couple of years after trying numerous salons in the area. She is excellent! I just had a color, gloss, and cut/blow dry and it turned out exactly as I wanted. I have found it challenging to find a stylist who is good at coloring a natural red and the color she just did for me looks fantastic! Cece understands what shades look good with your skin tones and when I've asked for highlights in the past, she has accommodated with the perfect shade of blond to compliment my skin and eyes. I've been going to Cece for a little over a year for my hair cuts. She always does a wonderful job freshening up my style while still keeping it fun and professional for work. Cece is one of the kindest and warmest person I've ever met. I came in with an incredibly botched hair job and she worked her magic on me.
