Fair enough sanitation, I get it. But then don't be shocked when people ask how they're supposed to choose between honey blonde, chestnut, caramel swirl, and blonde ambition without seeing it on their actual head. The official guidance we received was "Hold the wig up to your face and imagine." Imagine? For a purchase that can cost hundreds. At that point, I started to feel like we had accidentally entered an advanced seminar instead of a retail store. No suggestions. No "this shade might work better with your skin tone." No "let me help you find your first wig." Just wigs and no vibes. We left still not knowing anything about wigs, except this: if you are not already wig expert you don't need to shop here. If you're a seasoned wig wearer who already knows exactly what lace density you need and can install it in your sleep, you'll probably be fine. First, the store had a terrible smell, like rotten food, which made it uncomfortable to shop in. On top of that, the customer service was incredibly unprofessional. The employee, whose name was listed as Tierra on the receipt but said her name was Sky, had a poor attitude and was not helpful or considerate when I asked for assistance with finding bundles. I went to purchase a wig and there were not many wigs to choose from but I was ok with that. while looking at the wigs the sales person who was sitting down and really didn't seem to be happy to be there never really offered assistance. when a second sales person walked in they started giggling to each other but never showed and signs of good customer service. I found a wig I liked and asked if I could try it on and one sales person flat out said NO and the other one said "people always walk pass the 4 signs that say you can't try on wigs then act surprised". She was right there were signs everywhere it just seemed like a rude way to say it when I didn't ask to try the wig on in a rude way. I ordered a wig, my very first week at that, and a person from the company text me saying that they did not have the particular wig that I ordered and offered to have me wait, have me get a shorter wig, or receive a refund. I was open to waiting, but wanted clarification on when the wig would be sent if I had to wait. Long story short the person told me that they would get it in in a certain timeframe and ship it to me, but they were using vague language like "try" and with that I decided to just simply get a refund. And response, the person blocked me in my messages were no longer being delivered to the person I have been messaging for the last couple days. I then tried to go onto the app to cancel the order and it would not allow me to. Then I called the number on yelp and the young lady named "Jas" was very rude and let Customer Service skills. This is possibly my fourth wig ever (always liked sew in more). I usually purchase affordable wigs because I'm not an influencer or wealthy girl. So far I've had a 50/50 chance on if a wig is going to be crappy. Luck was not in my favor. I went to the store instead of Amazon/online to see if the hair influencers were lying or not about how good the ready to wear wigs are. You'll see most of them grab the hair out the box and put it on their hair to a flawless unclockable scalp. That is not real. The store has really bright lights so I was deceived a bit. She put the lace in my hand and I was like yeah I mean I guess it's transparent but it doesn't look like HD. Then I found out HD lace is a totally different thing that cost more. Oh. The knots are knotting. She says you can wear it like this but I wouldn't unless I want everyone to know I was wearing a wig. So I glance at the hair the two clerks are wearing. Because of their hairstyles and headband, you cannot see their lace. That was my first red flag but i ignore it. But I would think a lace wig shop would want their girls wearing the best and showing it off. I get home and put try the wig on. Oh no, it's a helmet. I don't have my hair into cornrows but it's pretty flat and pinned up. Have you ever seen a TonyTalks video? It looks likeTHAT! I'll accept that my foundation may be the cause but it's not a bad foundation. What I can't accept is the lace looking like Casper on my scalp. It's also a very slim closure so my sides are very visible. I walk to every mirror in my house. They all tell the same story. I take the wig off and notice the hair is all tangled. Right at the nape. It's been at least 20 minutes on head. Im so mad because I want to return this horrible wig but they are closed. They have a no try on, no refund, no exchange policy but this is AWFUL! You must be buzzed to get in so it was no question as to whether or not I have been helped already. There were three associates in the salon, not one of them acknowledged my presence let alone ask if I needed help. Yet they continued to have conversation amongst themselves.
