Now the salon is at Salons by JC, so do not go to jc penny's like I did at first! Once there, Jaymee immediately put me at ease by giving suggestions and asking questions about what I wanted (to chop off inches and color a balayage). The process took a few hours, so if you're going for this, be sure to block off an afternoon. I really appreciated that she scheduled enough time for me and didn't overbook. She worked on me and only me, which I loved! When she finished styling my now shorter and highlighted hair, I took one look and said, "I have Pinterest hair now!" She made me look amazing!!! When I came last Wednesday, there was only 1 person working and no customers so I was seen very quickly. I asked for a trim and layers. She wet my hair and cut it and then didn't dry it. My hair was wet when she asked me if the length was ok. Since it was wet, it looked fine to me. But then when I got home and it dried up, my hair looks SO choppy and not layered at all. Plus the two sides aren't even... you can see from the pics. Probably won't be back :( I'm scared if I ask them to fix it it'll be worse. I'd have to go somewhere else to get it fixed..

When I stopped by a beauty supply store to look for the hair she recommended, the staff showed me some very pricey options. Tisha actually called the store herself to guide them to the correct items so I wouldn't overspend. I even got turned around on my way there, and she allowed me to communicate freely without making me feel rushed. Once I arrived at her shop, we had amazing conversation and enjoyed great music. Her space is cozy and welcoming, and she made sure I was comfortable -- even offering bottled water. I genuinely enjoyed her company and felt like I was talking to a family friend. I have alopecia, and Tisha made me feel beautiful throughout the entire process. I had purchased 1B hair for my sew‑in, and during the installation she thoughtfully added a pop of her own custom color to elevate the overall aesthetic. It was a subtle touch, but it made the style uniquely mine and showed just how much care she puts into her work. I left with a new look that my husband -- and others -- absolutely love. The initial appointment went well and I was happy with my hair overall, but I noticed afterward that my money piece was uneven. I reached out the very next day to get it fixed, but communication was extremely delayed. It took two days to get a response, and this pattern continued back and forth, making it difficult to schedule a correction. Despite this, we eventually agreed on a time. On the day of the follow-up appointment, I even offered to come earlier if she was available, but received no response. I still showed up early for my scheduled 3:30 appointment, texted to let her know I was there, and got no reply. After waiting over 15 minutes past my appointment time, calling, getting no response, and hearing her with another client, I left as she never acknowledged me. When I requested a partial refund due to the lack of communication and missed appointment, it was denied, and I was blamed for leaving as she expected me to wait even tho she never acknowledged me--even though I waited beyond a typical grace period and made multiple attempts to reach her. And she stated no mistakes were made on her end. Overall, the work itself was decent, but the communication and professionalism were very disappointing, especially when trying to resolve an issue. I would recommend improving response time and client communication.
