I've done the fake lash extensions for years now and they just don't do it for me anymore. I also don't want to look like Mr. Snuffleupagus when I'm trying to look cute. If I do get falsies I'm lucky if they last a week. I've also done magnetic lashes too but those don't stay on well resulting in the corners being undone. I wanted my lashes to look as natural as possible with some curl to it. My lashes naturally lie flat and even with mascara, they don't appear to stand out. Lash perms can give your own lashes the extra curl needed. Most of all the perms last for at least a month! Odette was sweet, calm and patient with me given this was my first time doing this. She explained the process and checked in with me often since the perm solution they put on can cause mild stinging. I felt that but it didn't cause serious discomfort. In the days ahead, my eyes did crust up but what I was left with were a beautiful set of lashes that were of my own, just a bit enhanced to give you that va-va-va voom oomph to your look. If paired with eyelash primer and a coat of mascara, they stand out guaranteeing you won't get that Snuffleupagus aesthetic. I would definitely recommend lash perms for a special occasion/vacation. My session lasted an hour allowing for relaxation. In fact, I took a 20-minute nap while on the table! Parking is a breeze with Posh Beauty situated in a large strip mall with adequate free parking. The lady now doing my manicures and pedicures, have done my manicures and pedicures for over 28 years I love the longevity of some of the employees here. I absolutely love this location and I've seen them go through every renovation possible. I have used this location to prep for some of the biggest moments in life like high school prom, graduation weddings of other people, etc. I have also been here through all the various owners throughout the years and glad that is finally returned back to Mario and his team. I will say that as of recently, it's great to see they have some specials and offers. However, prices have definitely gone up. The place is in need of another renovation that is for sure. Especially the pedicure area and the restrooms. I still love how everybody has to wear a black or white. It makes very easy and simple. While the dressing and changing areas haven't changed much. It's great that nothing of mine has ever been stolen here in over 30 years considering the wide open coat and hanging area areas. I used to always get my waxes here as well.
