(Okay, I didn't plan on feeling old when writing this). I have never once been unhappy with my hair. Carleen executed visions I had that were complex, and always left me feeling great about myself. Britney reminds me of my former now retired hairdresser that I had for the past 23 years. I've been to 3 other hairdressers thereafter in the past couple of years and couldn't find anyone for my long thick caramel brown hair. You must seek her and I drove 40 miles from where I live. I was very clear and wanted to keep my length. Right from the start, the stylist I believe her name was Bianca older gal. With salt and pepper hair. She began cutting my hair while it was dry also asked me to stand out of my seat while cutting. I've been to several salons and never experienced that. It was unusual to me. By the end of my appointment, my hair was much shorter than I wanted, the layers look very choppy instead of soft and blended. What upset me just as much as I was treated. During the appointment, she made comments about my physical appearance that made me feel uncomfortable. I'm a Taller woman and those comments felt unnecessary and unprofessional. I also mentioned a recent shoulder surgery. Unfortunately she was rough and forceful when moving me. I left feeling disappointed not only with my hair cut but with the overall experience. A haircut can always grow out, but how you make a client feel matters too. I hope this feedback encourages more consideration, better communication, and respect for future clients.
