Checked Yelp and the reviews are legit, this place is classy but not pretentious. Calling in was an issue as nobody answered and mail box didn't work but a previous reviewer had the owner's cell phone. Her name is Olivia. Texted Jamie with number Olivia provided and quick response from Jamie. Within a few hours, my daughter was at the salon and getting prepped and colors mixed. Don't give up if they don't answer, they are always with clients. Worth the effort to even just stop by. Jamie is a gorgeous put together stylist , she clearly presents herself in every regard as professional and is very experienced. She worked for years on Martha's Vineyard with selective clients before coming home to the AV. We have a gem here and she will get very booked very soon so get on her client list if possible before she is too in demand. My daughter had an experience, not a hair cut. She was pampered and listened to and appreciated and it was worth it. She will be back when home from college as this is now where she will get her hair done. And my younger daughter will be going there soon. It took four hours but quality takes time. They don't hurry you out, they wait until it is done properly. I don't write many reviews, my time is valuable. Taking the time to write this is because Jamie C deserves the exposure and props. The Catwalk is a haven in the sandbox we live in. read more

I have to rate this a 5 star because of how quick they got me in on such short notice for my birthday. My amazing stylist Melissa was so patient with me and what I wanted she definitely took the time to make sure I got what I wanted and I'm glad she took the time with me cause it came just as better than I had hoped. She gave me a beautiful red/purple color balayage that made me feel so beautiful for my big dayall other stylist that gave me a cut and bags were just perfect and knew how to cut my hair to my face shape and liking. My first time getting color and coming to Catwalk and I had the best experience with Jamie. Immediately I felt comfortable and had time to browse more pics. I've known Jamie for a few years and saw her IG posts of her clients. Finally I decided to make the change and try a hair color. She was very knowledgeable on seasonal color and proper treatment as I used a chemical relaxer 2 weeks prior. I was impressed because she didn't assume anything and consulted the owners expertise. I value a work environment that works together and give sound suggestions and guidance. No one has ever layered my hair better than Olivia! I had blonde highlights all grown out and fried and I wanted as much off as possible without cutting my hair short. She kept my hair the right length, layered off all the bad parts and my hair was almost a different color afterward she did such a good job. Quick too! I came in during lunch and had my hair washed cut and styled in less than 45 min for $30. So yeah, good for my budget too. I first want to start off my review by saying that the stylist Krystal is in fact my sister... but that doesn't mean my review is biased in ANY way. As you can clearly tell in the photos, Krystal has performed a MIRACLE on my once lifeless, damaged hair. I live in Los Angeles...I'm a mother to a 3 year old with a full time job. Today I got a cut and touch up color by Jamie. She always does a great job with my hair. My hair was long and down to the middle of my back. I wanted a new look and a new hairstyle. I brought in 3 pictures to the cut I wanted. Jamie kept asking me if the length was where I wanted or if I wanted it longer or shorter. She's very good at double checking before actually cutting my hair. She always takes the time and never rushes.
