I had the worst experience ever. I went in for a layer cut and left with a chopped trim. It looks horrible even in a ponytail. This lady did not know even the basic ways around. She parted my hair with a bush instead of a comb. She burnt me with the hair dryer. She held me with my back to the mirror...lol...yeah! She left before she finished me, and didn't even wash my hair right. She threw combs at other people, and was the most unprofessional person to see actually work. It was horrible! I will not go back even if THEY paid me!!! WOW!!! They should close. I wrote another review but it looks like it didn't post, maybe they erase the bad ones!!! They have no business being open. Update... I have received a refund, but not of my tip. It's ok! I have adjusted my stars because the manager was willing to listen and promised to make sure this will not happen again, and gave me a refund. read more

I am so happy to say I found my local Hair Cuttery. I am blown away from the amazing service here. We needed a local spot for my son to get a haircut and Sarah was absolutely amazing. She has colorful hair that matches her colorful personality. She made my three year old son so comfortable and he was smiling the entire time. We actually loved the experience and my sons cute haircut so much we went again recently and thankfully Sarah was working. Once again she exceeded our expectations with a seamless experience. For our second experience Dhanvantari did my fiancé's haircut and mine. We are both really happy with the cuts and super pleased to know we have two stylist we can count on. I had an appointment and was seated. After a twenty minute wait, my seat was given to someone who showed up after me. I asked why this was the case, since I was there first. Both the lady and the manager were unable to explain why I was not seated and spoke to me with condescension. I heard various explanations but they were inconsistent. We were both there for a haircut. Based on the reviews here, I suspect I'm not the only one this has happened to. Booked an appointment before my trip, I come in 10 minutes early, my lady I recommended apparently isn't there. Not only was she not there, they couldn't even squeeze me in and I said ok I can skip the haircut can I just get a gloss, they just stared at me blankly. I said ok have a nice day. I called the hair cuttery asking if they took walk ins, and the lady on the phone helped me schedule a time for that same day. The service that Diana provided me was beyond what I could've expected, as I've been to a few hair salons around the area that cost me a good chunk of money where I did not have the best experiences. She took her time throughout my whole visit from cutting to washing and styling. I also had told her how I have a sensitive scalp, and she made sure to be gentle which I was very grateful for. She was also very friendly and easy to communicate with!! I showed her some reference photos as I also needed a side bang trim, and some long layers. I had the worst haircut I have ever had there yesterday. She started with a razor, and either deliberately or carelessly caught my ear 3 or 4 times. Then, she took me over to wash my hair, not bothering to adjust my seat, then proceeded to grind the base of my skull into the hard basin as she washed. I had never had a genuinely painful hair washing at a salon before until then. I told her it was really uncomfortable. She replied, "Yeah, I know", then began grinding even harder. During my cut, she dropped her comb on the floor 3 times. Then she became frustrated with herself, and I believe began to use her hand in place of the comb. She proceeded to violently spin my chair around several times, and on each occasion I had the pleasure of banging my ankle into the metal stop. Another first. And I'm no kid! Then, she took the thinning shears, and began swinging them at my hair from her hip and cutting on the fly, as if she were throwing a left or right hook. Again, something I had never seen before, and do not want to see again. When it was over, I looked in horror at the uneven mess that was my hair, and said it looked horrible. She grabbed her scissors again, but this time I stood up and said, "No! I don't want you to do any more damage." I told her it might be the worst haircut I'd ever seen. She exclaimed that I did not have to pay. I accepted the offer and left. read more

She then did my 7 year old daughter's hair in a bob cut that is so cute her classmates are asking their Mom's for one!
