I love the stylists at dry bar. Making an appointment online or rebooking is so convenient. I do however Recommend some house keepi g issues that have been ongoing since I started to go there. The intake vented above the wash bowl are filthy dirty. I wonder if any of the grunt in the vents will fall down on me. Also, the yellow seats at the front intake are nasty. They could be removed and washed. They are yellow with brown stains. There should be a "bartender" at the front desk at all times to greet the customers. This also helps the stylist with the blowout, without having to yell to get someone to help. Finally, the coffee maker is broken and has been broken for 2 years. I usually ask if they have coffee, the response is that it is still broken. I would like a cup of coffee without having to pay a fortune at Starbucks. Prior to booking I explained in detail what I wanted to I wanted a full, dramatic blowout. When I arrive I again explained what I wanted and showed photos. I have my hair blown out like this hundreds of times, I have the hair for it. Well no matter what you ask for, you'll get a straight, painfully straight blowout, like you see in photos. I took the time to politely inform her of the steps taken to achieve the look, taking care not to insult her craft. She listened and proceeded to do it her way. I'm open to every approach of it achieved my desired look. Honestly it's a great blowout if that's what you want is a flat straight look. I have had ongoing issues with customer service. I have been a member for years, and I have canceled in the past due to problems, but wanting to give it another try, I went back and got my barfly membership. However, after many times of being treated poorly, including sitting and waiting 15 to 20 minutes past my appointment time because they were running behind and not being compensated in any way, I was late 1 time by 8 minutes and was charged an extra 15 dollars. There were also times when my hair wasn't done right or didn't last. I let them know within their time frame that I would like a touch-up, and I was told it would cost me 35 dollars to fix the blowout I received less than 24 hrs earlier, which cost me 65 dollars when you include a tip. Due to this, I will be canceling, as they are always moving the goalposts to what benefits them and never the customer who has been loyal. I feel very unappreciated and undervalued as someone who spends well over 300 a month there. read more

Be warned. Drybar will offer you a membership that comes with an offer of reduced pricing. My wife was offered such a membership, but did not realize that it came with a monthly payment of $45 against her credit card - my credit card. She used their services once and for nearly a year the deduction was made, until I queried what Drybar was. When I tried to stop the membership - they refused. When I tried to speak to the Manager - she would not talk to me. I called my credit card to stop the payments. It has taken 45 days, a legal period, to resolve this issue. My wife used their service once, because her usual hair stylist was unavailable for the occasion - she never returned, because she did not enjoy the experience. read more

My service was great but the customer service here is awful. When I was upsold to get a membership, I was sure to ask MULTIPLE times if it would be easy to cancel. Two of the team members here told me it would be as simple as calling in or going in person. I was lied to and when I called to request help, they absolved themselves of responsibility and directed me to the website. There is not even a direct customer service number to contact on the website.. You must submit and email and hope that they are to get back to you in time before you are recharged. This place is horrible. The stylist had no clue what she was doing and left my hair flat and frizzy(despite even getting a frizz treatment). When I asked for her to fix it she told me they did not have anything to make the crown of my hair not flat and that it was because my hair is too long and heavy. I had just got my hair done last week with another salon and it was perfect. Whenever I get my hair done usually I get the comments of how easy it is to style. I have lots of body and wave. Unfortunately, it was a Monday and many places are not open. When I spoke to the manager they refused to give me a refund and want me to come back to get it fixed. I was told that I could not get a refund since the money goes towards the time and effort of the stylist. Seems like the stylist does not deserve the compensation since she did a horrible job and I actually went home and washed and styled my own hair it was so bad. I asked for a beach wave and she gave me ringlets. Do not come here unless you want frizzy ugly hair. I tried to just do this with out leaving a bad review--with speaking directly to the manager but as they will not honor the workmanship I feel it pertinent to let the public how bad this service is. read more

BRIDES OF BREVARD BEWARE!!!! My experience with this salon was nothing short of a catastrophe from start to finish, and I implore you to learn from my misfortune. Firstly, despite booking well in advance for myself, my bridesmaids, and my mother, Drybar dropped a bombshell of a scheduling issue just one week before my wedding. Imagine the panic of receiving such news when you've meticulously planned every detail of your special day. I booked for 6 of us, this includes my bridesmaids and my mother. We wanted to have our hair done the morning of my wedding to help with having one less thing to do once I arrived at the venue. They called me several times to try and resolve the issue, we concluded that since they wouldn't have enough stylists working that morning that one of us would just sit out. We were stressed for time so one of the 6 guests would just not get a blowout, which is what I had booked for all of us knowing that other styles are more expensive and take longer to achieve. To add insult to injury, the stylists seemed utterly oblivious to the fact that we were a bridal party. Despite our coordinated attire with matching pajamas. This lack of awareness resulted in chaos as they struggled to accommodate our booked blowouts, leading to delays and mounting frustration. One of my bridesmaids, Deneb, my step sister, fell victim to their incompetence. She was being helped by a stylist Jose. Because the stylists were not properly informed of their tasks Jose had no knowledge Deneb was booked for a blowout. When Deneb said she liked the style of the uptini Jose started to work on that hairstyle. The major problem being that it costs more and takes more time for that hairstyle. We had all finished and she was still being worked on. I would also like to mention that if Jose hadn't been properly trained or made aware that I don't blame him for this issue but instead was seeking justice from the manager who instead of refunding anything assured us with her return phone call to me that Jose had been fired.... Outrageous! I went to pay for myself and my daughter trying to hurry everything I could along as I was racing against time to get to the venue for my wedding. Apparently the uptini, a hairstyle offered by this salon exceeded Jose's capabilities. He was flustered and ultimately couldn't complete the look. He became frustrated and walked away! So after enduring an agenizing wait, Deneb was left with a botched "uptini" and a hefty bill to boot! The audacity to charge her for a failed hairdo is beyond belief, especially given the exorbitant prices they demand. When the manager returned my call she said, "we thought it looked good". Excuse me but that's your opinion and we are the paying customers! What a disdainful disregard for customer satisfaction. Come to find out Drybar has an "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau and is not accredited! Then after Deneb left a bad review, the manager stated that there was nothing they could do because of the fact Deneb had already written a 1 star review. LOL wow, what professionalism! Not only that but the company seems to question anyone with a bad review posted. However if you look at any of the latest 5 star reviews for Drybar on Google all the reviews are written by stylists. All bad reviews are met with accusations of "you are a family member not a paying customer". The only thing offered to me after all of this was a free scalp massage with my next appointment. CROOKS. I made an appointment online. But life gets busy and I have a lot of goings on right now. No one's business. But I never saw any notifications to confirm. Then received an incomprehensible voicemail about confirming something to avoid fees. I could not understand the name of the company or the phone number left in the message. And their initial missed call did not register in my recent calls. Funny. The only way I figured out who they were was by a pending payment to DryBar through my bank app. I called the store and the manager had the poor front desk girl keep apologizing and repeating that it's their policy to not refund a no call, no show. I had no clue who to even call. I finally got the manager on the phone who kept saying they were not "allowed" to refund me because of their policies and the only thing I could do was contact my bank to dispute. This is shady, ridiculous business. Also, most places will charge a fee for late cancelation or no call, no show. I was charged the entire amount that the service would be. If this is how your company makes your money, you are criminal. I will tell everyone I know about this and am reporting you to the Better Business Bureau. I feel taken advantage of and will make sure you can't continue to do this to people. read more
