I loved my experience today. I went in because I have been dying to get my hair cut and I ended up cutting off 12 inches and getting highlights! I had Gina who helped with my style and color choice! She kept me informed about how she was cutting my hair and kept me laughing! I didn't have time to be anxious about what was going on! She even had me wait to look till the big reveal and it was awesome! Definitely ask for Gina when you go! I'm not even sure where to begin. I stopped in, without an appointment, to get my hair cut on a Saturday. Shonda started on my hair and got as far as the sides and back before all the unbelievable unprofessional activity started. Another stylist, Sheryl, was trying to close out a sale and called Shonda over and shoved a cell phone in her face saying "How do you do this? You brought these in here," apparently referring to discount haircuts. Shonda assisted her and returned to almost cutting my hair. I say almost because she was obviously rather put off by Sheryl's accusatory tone and attitude about customers actually using the discount app. Instead, she excused herself and went to the back to have a conversation with Sheryl about the same. Unfortunately, the shop isn't that big and it was made very obvious very quickly that there was a cat-fight brewing. Shonda returned and, again, almost started cutting my hair again when Sheryl made a point of walking past twice and then stopped and asked "what are you looking at?" very loud and to continue whatever confrontational discussion they had almost had in private in the back. Voices were raised - by both employees - and we (everyone present) were magically transported to some trashy trailer park where two women were on the verge of an all out fist-fight. With my two 10-year old daughters sitting there watching it all. Three things: 1) whoever was the manager should have sent them both home IMMEDIATELY. 2) Shonda couldn't finish my haircut because she had to step outside ?!?! 3) What a horrible work environment for the rest of the people who are trying to take care of their customers. Christine (Christie?), stepped in and finished my haircut - and did a fabulous job - but was terribly embarrassed by the whole episode and apologized numerous times. So I got half a haircut from two different people. A completely unprofessional experience that I now get to try to explain to my daughters. read more

The pic on the right is the haircut I asked for. The left is what I left with. I had no idea till I got home how bad it was. At first I showed her the pic on the right so she could see how i like my haircut. Then she asked how short I wanted my bangs. Duh I just showed you the pic??? She did cut them dry and the length was just fine. Apparently that is as much as knew about cutting hair. Because as you can see in the photos on the left, the bangs don't blend in with the butcher job she did on the rest of my head. I work in a professional environment and have till Monday to figure out what to do with my hair. read more

Had documented appointment several weeks old in CiCi's appointment book with Liz today at 10:00 am, but some rude older lady who apparently is a long time customer with black hair, purple lipstick, and desperately needed her grey colored erroneously claimed that she had an appointment with Liz at that time (but who was not in the appointment book and Liz stated that I had the valid appointment). This very old lady was not going anywhere, said she had an appointment card that Liz had given her (even though she could not produce it) and Liz became indecisive and clearly did not know what to do (I am new customer and very old lady clearly had been there before). I said I would find another hair dresser; the problem is whether you want someone who does not honor their appointments and cannot make the right decision cutting your hair; I do not. Do not trust this place! I did not want to be as rude as the real old lady and be insistent that my appointment be honored because I may walk out with a Mowhawk! read more

I brought my BFF for her bday,she wanted a trim of the ends and I wanted a basic layer. Her hair is crooked and u even but no biggie right. Then Thiers my hair. Omg she cut a mullet I'm my head! An uneven one at that! I had long all one length hair when I came in there now the top of my head is about an inch and a half short there's pieces of the back just hacked out the ends I mean it's just horrible it looks like a three-year-old got a hold of the scissors beware do not go there!!! read more

Genuinely the worst hair cut experience I've ever had. Janice was so rude, and unprofessional. She burned my face with the hot water during the wash- I kindly asked for a temperature change and she scoffed!! (I thought maybe i misheard). During the cut, instead of telling me where to look/ turn my head she got so upset with me and started scolding me saying " THAT'S NOT WHERE YOU LOOK, you're going to get a messed up haircut but do whatever you want!" I've been here a few times and the cuts have always been average, but today was HORRIBLE! read more

I came in earlier in the week and I had Kelley tone and style my hair and she was amazing. I had gotten my hair bleached at a different salon and my regrowth was starting to get more golden blonde than platinum blonde. She toned it to a perfect color to match my ends and styled my hair effortlessly. She was sweet, easy to talk to and extremely professional. I just moved to the area and have been going to a Hair Cuttery in Orlando. Loved my stylist did a great job. I normally get a Keratin treatment and color. I will get them separately because the keratin will strip out the color and because it can be a long process. I called and they said just come in no need for appointment. Got there when they opened on Sunday and went over what I wanted with one of the stylist who said she could do both that same day - no problem they do it all the time. OK, she is the professional. I wanted just a warm brown all over and the Keratin. After 4 1/2 hours my hair was a brown/gold color and the Keratin did not straighten my hair at all. I was saying nothing because she said she could fix it. In the middle of fixing it she went to the back and I could see several employees going back there and looking at me and then disappearing..... I knew they were discussing my situation - still I said nothing, I was just waiting to see what was going to happen. Next thing I know the manager is coming over and saying that the stylist told her that I said I was not happy and she asked me a question and I told her I didn't like my hair... ALL LIES!!! I hadn't said a word for about an hour and she hadn't asked one question. My hair was half cut, dripping wet and looking crazy! They had to start again with a "master stylist" to FIX my hair!!! I never saw my original stylist again! No apology, no we are going to fix this, no I made an error but I am sorry we will fix your hair. She was gone - just left, her shift was over at 3 and she gave up on me at 2:30!!! What professional does that? I did get my hair fixed and it was beautiful. It only took 8 1/2 hours!! Good thing I had some coffee and a little breakfast that morning because I had nothing else until 6pm!!! Even though Octavia fixed my hair and did a fabulous job I don't think I could go back there. Watch who you get as a stylist, I will be kind and not mention my original stylist name, although I should put her on blast!. Just insane!!! read more

I walked in and asked to get my eyebrows waxed....I explained I just wanted them cleaned up and the girl took off half of my right eyebrow! I'm not high maintenance at all and I just wanted them cleaned up not reshaped and she waxed them pencil thin and took of half of my right eyebrow!! When I asked to see a manager I got Maria who is assistant manager and she just smirked and said what do you want me to do about it? (Yes she said that!) then when I asked for the contact of the general manager the employees lied to me and didn't want me to know who she was -- Tracey but I question if that's the truth because they ran in circles for 10 mins....no customer service at all or concern!! You get what you pay for not worth it and I will be following up! If they had just been upfront with me and showed concern it could have been resolved but then the assistant manager (who refused to come over for a while) and the employees LIED to me and didn't want to give me information....
