She got my color back to my natural hue and gave me a great cut, all while having pleasant conversation. She also was good about talking about a long term plan for my hair - i.e. next step is go back for high lights and a trim in 8 weeks. The prices here are super reasonable (I came from the D.C. area, so this felt like a bargain to me). She had to color my hair twice to conceal the bad color I had from another salon in the area and it still wasn't outrageous. The salon itself is really modern, clean and bright (they apparently recently moved to this new location). The front desk staff is friendly also. I will continue to keep going to this salon - great people and cuts. I saw other people coming in to the other stylists and didn't see one bad cut walking out the door - nice color applications also. Everyone I met was friendly and helpful. Doris greeted me downstairs as I arrived and was very welcoming and kind as she guided me upstairs to the locker room. Don has a great sense of how much pressure to use on a deep tissue massage and how to balance the relaxation aspect with the therapeutic aspect. Alma was very attentive and detailed oriented and my toenails look beautiful. Having gone to a lot of spas throughout the US, I thought the prices were pretty reasonable for the quality of services. I was going to go to the spa with my cousin, but she was ill at the last minute and couldn't attend. I appreciate that the spa didn't make me pay a cancellation fee for her. That was kind. Thank you, Tuscany! The only suggestion I might make is that they add some more space for changing clothes into the spa robes. It's pretty small in there and not very private.

We booked two appointments at the same time. While in the waiting room, our two masseuses came out to get us. We asked if we could be in the same room. We didn't know there would be a Suprise Upcharge. Yes, we have had couples massages many times over the years. But we got charged a good deal more even though there was nothing special about this. Also, my masseuse was really just rubbing me. She said let me know if you want me to dig deeper. I said yes. After all, I went for a massage, not a rubbing. There was an another Surprise Upcharge! They never mentioned any upcharges at any time. So, we wound up spending $50 more. This is a very sneaky way to do business and we won't be going back.

Sometimes you go in for something small and people act like it's an inconvenience. This was the opposite. Simple, professional, done. Then I saw the back rooms. Two massage tables set up and the space is really nicely decorated. It looks like a place you could actually relax in. I was already thinking about coming back for a deep tissue. Their prices right now are very reasonable, probably because they're new to the area, and this is the time to take advantage. They offer more than just hair. I saw massage, HydraFacial, waxing, cryo fat reduction, infrared sauna and a few other treatments. I didn't even get into all of it but I like the direction. If they keep doing what they're doing and keep the prices where they are, I will be back. This place is a dream for The Villages.... what a treat !

While she was doing it, my eyes were burning the whole time and she wasn't paying attention after completion. I looked in the mirror and my eyebrows had big brown spots left on them. She proceeded to walk away, not give me any instructions how to care for it. I went up to the front desk pay for the services and left her a check I will never ever ever go back to that place again and I will spread the word how rude and unprofessional they were.
