I asked for a honey golden copper color. This is the picture I showed her, this is what I got. After I saw how dark it came out I asked for her to make it lighter to which she replied i wouldn't recomend that since this color gets lighter after every wash. Made an appointment, but was told to wait for twenty minutes while the stylist chatted with the previous client. When she was finally ready, I asked if she could please wear a mask, as my pregnant wife and I are taking extra precautions (I have even been keeping haircuts to a minimum but just couldnt wait any longer). The stylist made a scene and loudly said she absolutely would not, and that it was her choice. None of the other stylists spoke up or said they were willing to wear a mask, so I got a nice haircut at the Great Clips nearby. Come here if youre part of the MAGA death cult, where huffy indignance is more important than taking reasonable steps to protect the vulnerable in our society. Skip it otherwise. read more

Careful when making appointments early in the day plenty of times stylists call out and they have to cancel.

Went in with a bob that the last stylist had cut some layers into that I didn't want. Explained I wanted a blunt bob and didn't want layers and absolutely no stacking. I did not want the back shorter than the front. Stylist repeated back to me, "so no stacking at all" Came out with a 1980s stacked bob with a million more layers added in, so the exact opposite of what I wanted. I am embarassed to be seen in public with this haircut that is what I had in the 80s when I graduated college. Wish I could leave negative stars. This will take my hair about a year to recover from. read more

Beware of mysterious $10 upcharge at the register for "long" hair. Wasn't warned. Been here before, never an extra charge. Seems to be at the whim of the stylist. Until the surprise $10 charge, I was satisfied. The extra effort (if any) by the stylist was sure not worth it. The price list has a built in-upcharge of $10 for "straightening", but my hair is already very straight. Left a bad taste. read more

I used to go to supercuts in pennington, then I found this place. Substantially more professional here than there, supercuts is dirty and the staff is lacking. Hair cuttery is clean, professional, courteous, has more products to choose from, not to mention better prices. Hair cuts that include a wash instead of charging more for it. Team members who help each other instead of leaving hair all over the place. I'll never go back to supercuts. They know me when I walk in the door here and always have time to get me in. I've like every haircut I've received here, when I've been able to get in. My main problem is coming in and having them estimate a 15 min wait only to wait over an hour and a half. This has happened to me on 3 separate occasions, it's not worth my time anymore. I won't be back. read more

The sign claims "Walk ins welcome" but that was not my experience. The three beauticians were busy with customers but told me someone would be right with me. I sat there for twenty minutes, nobody checked me in or even told me what the wait would me. During that 20 minutes, one of the ladies answered the phone twice and still did not even speak to me. A gentleman walked in after 25 minutes and when I finally thought it was my turn, they took him first. Not because he had an appointment. I was told he was signed in before me. He used an app when he arrived. Maybe if I was signed in at my arrival I would have been next!!!! They need someone to run this salon so these beauticians are not asked to perform tasks that they cannot handle. I will never go back. read more

Usually I get the Coppola keratin hair treatments at another salon. I tried their product, the Keratin Plus treatment they do there; however, my hair feels dirty, dry and resembles the texture of straw. There is absolutely no gloss/shine to it. I'm so disappointed. Wouldn't trust them to groom my dog. I ran in because I desperately needed a trim. The short haired blonde girl took exactly 5 min on my cut, she cut my bangs wet without a clue that they'll appear shorter dry and then once I got in the car I noticed the bangs were uneven with uncut chunks. I went back into the salon fuming...the girl was out on a smoke break and no one else would take me to fix the cut. I waited for her to come back....she stunk of cigs and even though her tip was 50% total cost, i feel strange paying so low for any cut, she was unhappy to fix her prior work just cut the 2 chunks in front I found and didn't even check her work over....was pissed that I wasted her precious time and hesitated to give me a mirror to look at what she did in the back. I am embarrassed to go to work tomorrow and all I wanted was a trim....um...thanks :(. Btw, growing out my hair so its not like I came in for some difficult new style....so expectations weren't high to begin with... read more

Had partial highlights, cut, blowdry and style. While the partial highlights color was not as perfect as my regular stylist of ten years would do at $200, my total cost for everything at cuttery was under $100. Would definitely return to cuttery again to save more than 50%! read more

Horrible haircut! I dropped by earlier this evening and the person who cut my hair seemed to do a good job of the front and sides. I was actually pretty pleased until I got home and took a good look in the mirror. The hair on the back of my head was uneven! Unbelievable! I have never seen such a thing in my life. The left side looks fine but the right side looks like she barely touched it. The hair on that side is longer than the left and looks ragged and shabby. I'm not overly picky about my looks and can usually live with a bad haircut (for at least a couple of weeks) but this is absolutely not presentable. There's no way I can show up for work tomorrow looking like this. It's disgraceful. I'm still not sure if it was meant to be a joke but I'm certainly not amused. I can't recommend this place to anyone. read more
