Wow!!! If you want to get an incredible haircut and styling, this is the place!! It starts at the reception where I am greeted by the always pleasant Angela. I am then escorted to the back for a thorough and careful washing and conditioning of my hair. Then, I'm escorted back towards the front where Jean -- Mama Jean Marie Lyons -- sculpts my hair like a true artiste! Jean is excellent at what she does -- a truly gifted stylist. Beyond doing a superb job on my hair, Mama Jean also acts as a philosopher, musing on events in her own life as well as my own while she works. Conversation is always interesting, provocative, and funny -- she makes me think and laugh. I've been coming to Hair Dimension for quite a few years now. The staff is truly amazing. They are always willing to fit you in if at all possible. I've seen a few of their stylists... calling out a few for pixie cuts I will always say go see Irena. She has a one in million technique. For edgy, sexy bobs go see Shakia. Over a month ago I needed a blow dry for a special event, I called and spoke with Angela who is always a pleasure and willing to help if she can. She let me know Vivian was available, told me I would love her and I could come in. Since that first visit I haven't wanted to do my hair myself. She is truly a rare find, she is professional, sweet and does a mean blow dry, the technique she does uses less product and doesn't even need touch ups with a curling or flat iron. Truly outstanding. Review of Shakia: For the past decade-plus, I have entrusted Shakia with styling my hair. She is the ONLY hair stylist I have ever trusted 100% to give me the style I want. Shakia listens and does what you ask, but will also give great suggestions. As someone with long hair, I used to have to fight stylists not to cut off too much. With Shakia, if I ask for "just a trim," I can trust that she'll really just trim- not cut off inches. She has a gift with doing beautiful "long layers." Recently, I was feeling adventurous and gave permission to Shakia to give me a more dramatically shorter cut. I wasn't nervous at all because I know what an artist she is. The results were spectacular! Shakia is a true professional who keeps up with learning new techniques and styles, and also understands how to work with a variety of hair textures too. I always have a great experience at Hair Dimension. Shakia is my go-to girl! She always does such an amazing job. I've been a client of hers for some time now (cuts, highlights, color, special events, etc.) and she is the only one that I trust to do my hair. She takes her time, is very honest, and knows her clients well. I have very dark hair and I wanted to try something new (royal blue highlights, very out of my comfort zone). Shakia was willing to do it, but not before letting me know how often I'd have to come back to maintain the color and what my hair would look like if I didn't. After deciding against the blue highlights, I went with her suggestion of my current violet-red color which I LOVE! I have never been unhappy with any suggestion she has made. This place was great! I've always been skeptical about changing my salon. But when I called to see about Prices I spoke to the owner who was so sweet. I immediately felt comfortable and important. She spoke to me for about 10 minutes and walked me through the highlighting process. She was very helpful. She even came by to introduce herself when I was getting my hair done. I met with Nikki at the salon who did a great job with highlights, a toner, and a haircut. She also gave me tips for products and style- just for my own benefit- not to make money. Last year, my hair was a HORRIBLE color and went to so many different salons to try and fix the mistakes past beauty dressers made. I finally heard about this salon, and how it was #1 in Westchester and figured i'd give it a shot. I went in to see Jeanie, and she is the best. Shakia is the best, a lifesavor! I came in with a botched hair color from other salon & she fixed it. She listened to me & & what i wanted & man, did she deliver! I left the salon feeling very pretty. Also, very importsntly, my difficult 100% grey roots were completely covered. & I decided 2 get highlights for 1st time in life, they were spectacular! I have been going to Margo at Hair Dimensions on Tuckahoe for years now. She is truly an amazing artist. I am a blonde and I do not trust anybody else BUT Her! She uses gentle color instead of bleach on my hair which helps prevents breakage and damage. There are never any bleeding spots (which is a big pet peeve of mine). After my highlights i always get a nice layered hair cut and a keratin to top it all off. I love my keratin! Ive had 5 or 6 now, usually twice a year and i can truly tell a difference. My hair is thicker and stronger and easy to style. I love going into the salon, the stylists and girls are great, one of my favorite spots to relax and hang out. read more

Everyone is so friendly as soon as you walk through the door. Stephanie has been highlighting and cutting my hair for as long as I can remember. I wouldn't trust anyone else. I started going to Hair Dimension since 2006 when I was in high school I was recommended Jean by a friend. I CANT LET ANYBODY ELSE DO MY HAIR!!!! 13 years later I still see Jean for all my hair needs. Even though I moved 1hr 20mins upstate 2 years ago. I still drive down to yonkers to see her because I cant find anyone that is as good as jean upstate. Hair Dimension treats me like family because I've been going there for so long.
