After 5.5 hours and $350 + tip, my gray hairs in the front were still completely visible--the main reason I came in. When I brought it up, I was told I should have specifically asked for gray coverage, which should be part of a basic consultation or at minimum asking the client if this is something they want. I also had uneven, patchy highlights. I returned the next day for a fix, requested a different stylist, and was denied. They said the same person could fix it all they needed to do was tone it down a bit, and cover the greys The "correction" resulted in my hair being taken darker overall, with the highlights essentially gone. I paid for highlights and left with dark hair. They told me eventually it should lighten down but I'm not seeing any improvement it's still really dark. To make matters worse I also left with visible dye on my forehead something I wouldn't expect after paying this price at a salon. Very disappointing experience and not one I would recommend I honestly wanted to cry. I really would have expected a partial refund or a proper correction by a more experienced stylist.

I have thicker hair that can be annoying to dry but she did a thorough job and it looks so good. The space is clean and beautiful. The chairs (even the hair washing station!) are comfy. I hate to leave reviews this long, but this experience was so unbelievable that I feel a…read moreresponsibility to share it with other people, especially when it comes to something as important as our hair. I booked a color and cut. My starting hair was a medium-dark brown with some red undertones, which is why I wanted it refreshed to a warmer, richer chocolate shade--nothing drastic, nothing near-black. In the salon, I selected the Level 4 chocolate brown swatch. I also looked at the Level 3 dark brown swatch and asked for her opinion. I told her I wanted my hair a little darker than it currently was, and she said she could mix a little of the dark brown into the chocolate brown. At no point did I choose Level 3 as the base of the formula or request anything close to a near-black result. When going into a salon and selecting a color from the book, it is the colorist's job to explain how that specific shade will read on your actual hair and to create the formula that will produce a result similar to the swatch you selected. If your hair is already dark and the swatch will pull much deeper, a professional should explain that clearly and adjust the formula. She did not do this. Instead, my hair came out significantly darker--almost black--nowhere near the chocolate brown I chose. I didn't notice how dark it truly was the night of the appointment because I was exhausted, nearly falling asleep in the chair, and it was already dark outside. The next day in natural light, I was shocked. I told my husband I was disappointed, but he said he liked it, so I tried to live with it for a few days. But it was just not what I was looking for at all. The haircut was just as bad. She cut a huge chunk in the front without angling it into the rest of the hair, and all the layers in the back were cut blunt with no blending, no texturizing, nothing. She styled it wavy with body, which masked how choppy it actually was. I was also floored by the pricing. Her website lists all-over color as $120+, and I fully expected to pay more for long hair--but not $250 for the color alone. She charged $250 for color, $75 for the haircut, and $65 for the blowout. The cut and blowout prices were reasonable, but the color price made no sense compared to what's listed online. I actually walked back inside afterward and told her I was shocked, and she adjusted the color price to $180. When I reached out looking for a solution--not a refund, just a correction--her tone over text was extremely unprofessional and dismissive. She insisted she "followed the shade I chose," even though I did not choose Level 3 and never asked for anything close to this result. She repeatedly contradicted herself by saying she followed the shade I picked, while also telling me my hair would naturally come out darker than the swatch because my hair was already dark--essentially admitting the result would never resemble the swatch I selected. I was so confused and taken aback by her refusal to collaborate that I decided to go into the salon to speak with the owner--only to find out that she is the owner. She refused to even look at the swatch next to my hair. I had to take the book myself, walk to the mirror, and compare it. When I asked her to come over and look, she said no because she wasn't going to do anything about it anyway. She even accused me of showing her a before picture that could have been from "5 years ago" which prompted me to scroll through my phone and show her that it was in fact from a few weeks ago and she still took 0 responsibility. Then she told me the only way to fix the color would be to bleach my hair for hours and that it would cost $1,000. Any trained colorist knows that is simply not true--she could have easily lifted the color and retuned it. The fact that she suggested extreme bleaching as the only option showed me she either doesn't have the proper education or simply didn't want to help. At that point, it became clear that she wasn't just unwilling to correct her own work -- she was refusing to acknowledge any responsibility at all. Between the incorrect color, the poor haircut, the inflated pricing, her dismissive tone over text, her refusal to look at the swatch, her refusal to offer any solution, and her claim that the only fix would be thousands in bleaching, I cannot recommend this salon to anyone. I now have to pay another professional to fix both the color and the cut. If you're considering booking here, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

The most concerning issue was the lack of cleanliness. The photos I've included were taken during both the initial appointment and the follow-up visit, and they show visible dirt, smudging, and buildup in client areas (walls, baseboards, and stations). This clearly was not a one-time oversight, but an ongoing issue. There were also concerns with tools being taken from drawers and appearing to be reused without clear sanitation, which added to the overall discomfort. On top of that, the results themselves were not satisfactory and required a return visit, which still did not resolve the problems. When I reached out to the salon to address this and request a refund, the response was not solution-oriented and instead required repeated justification. For a salon at this price point, basic standards like cleanliness, sanitation, and quality should not be in question.

Absolute and utter trash. She couldn't defend her work so she went with a character assassination without a speck of evidence to support her slanderous claims. She said there was nothing wrong with my hair... So what if I had to cut more than half of it off, a hundred dollars for a haircut NBD. In the next breath she told him, "If she was one of my clients with 4 million followers I'd be totally screwed. I'd be like here take my money." She said all the quiet parts out loud "she's just a waitress and a tarot card reader." Beauty School dropout... Go back to high school... Your lack of intelligence proceeds you. You gave yourself away. She didn't realize she was inadvertently agreeing my hair was ruined. It's so satisfying to let someone like Nicole talk and reveal themselves. She is just another; clout chasing, manipulative, shallow, disingenuous show-boater without honor, or ethics. The type that gives Angelenos a bad name. She speaks and writes like a seventh grader, but tries to act so sophisticated. She isn't fooling anyone. Since when are hair stylists in a class so far above waitresses? They aren't. Nicole went to beauty school and got a certificate after 1600 hours. I graduated from one of the most prestigious universities in our country, but I wouldn't look down my nose at Nicole because she could only go to a trade school that accepts anyone willing to pay. Nicole boasted she makes $350 an hour. Not every hour though for sure lol, because she was idle in a chair of an empty salon when I dropped off papers for her. Tons of "last minute cancellations" and open slots featured on her ig's stories too. You can expect a touch of this type of attitude from the very talented stylists in Beverly Hills. Nicole is neither talented or in Beverly Hills, and yet her ego barely fit in the court room. A legend in her own mind. Surely the result of too many participation trophies and parents who told her everything she did was wonderful! Her and her assistant literally lied to the judge and told him breakage only happens immediately. Everyone in the world knows over processed hair continues to break every time you wash, brush or style it. If you try out Nicole I highly recommend boosting your ig following, or having a career she admirers if you want her to avoid burning your hair off. Everyone else is just there to pay her bills and they have to take what they get. Your money is just whatever unless she can ride your coattails some other way. Also keep in mind her best effort is still seriously lacking. Her prettiest client Alyson who she tries to do well for is getting thinner and shorter as they go along, because Nicole doesn't know how to lighten hair without damaging it. Their making up the distance in extensions. Her methods are haphazard and half-assed. She doesn't know how to cut curtain bangs, or what color champagne blonde is. It's pretty sad. I feel sorry for her partner who appears to be a genuine person, even her buddy who brushed clumps of my hair out and lied for her, but most of all I feel sorry for her new business partner. She's far more talented, she doesn't need Nicole. They will all see in time. Nicole is never responsible for her actions, and she will always take shortcuts and advantage of others if she thinks it will benefit her.
