I originally came to her for color and highlights. The first appointment was over $500, and while the dimension looked nice when I left, the color faded extremely quickly within just a few washes. I reached out politely to let her know, and she offered to gloss it , which I understood as simply refreshing the tone. Instead, my entire head was turned into a single dark chocolate color. All of my highlights were completely covered, my hair became several shades darker than what I originally paid for, and the dimension I loved was gone. None of this was discussed with me during the service. She didn't even fully dry my hair before I left, so I couldn't see the true result until I got home. My hair was already dry from the first appointment, and this additional processing made things worse. When I reached out to express confusion and concern, she did not take responsibility or apologize. Her responses were dismissive, and at one point she simply replied "Ok," which made it clear she didn't care about the impact the service had on my hair or how I felt as a client. It was deeply unprofessional and left me feeling unheard. Throughout all of this, I remained kind, calm, and respectful. I work in the beauty industry myself, and I believe strongly in treating clients the way I would want to be treated , with care, honesty, and accountability. When a mistake is made, it's our job to take responsibility and make it right, unless a client is being truly abusive. That wasn't the case here at all, which is why her coldness and lack of remorse were so confusing and disappointing. Weeks later, my hair is still not the same color or look I originally paid for. I had a future appointment booked, which I canceled with plenty of notice, and politely asked for my deposit back. Only then did she inform me that deposits are nonrefundable , something that was never communicated at booking. She insisted the policy had been stated, but it absolutely was not. Keeping a client's money when they cancel days in advance, especially after a service that went wrong, is not ethically or professionally acceptable. Overall, my experience with Diana showed: Lack of communication during the service No accountability when the result was not what I asked for Dismissive responses when I expressed concern No empathy or care for the health of my hair Uncommunicated policy used to keep a deposit after poor service A cold, unprofessional attitude toward a client who was nothing but kind I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was stressful, expensive, and handled with very little professionalism or integrity. I would not return and cannot recommend her based on how she treated me throughout this entire situation.

In the end she added the extension and completely darkened my hair into a dark brown with a red look to it while also covering up my highlights I had just recently done. I truly hate what she did to my hair and hope no one else has to experience this. On top of all that she seems to have booked another appointment too soon and sat them down and rushed me through to get to her next customer she failed to blend and style my hair leaving my bangs looking like Dora the explorer and leaving the lengths of my hair uneven looking like a child had cut it. I had to go to someone else to get it styled properly so it looks presentable. Attempted to get some sort of refund only for her and the owner of her shop to verbally gang up on me being rude and telling me I got exactly what I asked for when I know I never asked for this color or my highlights to be covered up. I normally go to my stylist at Supercuts but they are not able to do extensions so I came to Veronica hoping to feel beautiful after a morning at the salon. PLEASE REFUND MY MONEY or I'll have to report this to the state board of cosmetology.

Karen is the kind of hair stylist you dream of finding. She has a great personality, she is honest and she genuinely listens to your concerns, goals and desires for your hair and overall look. If you bring her a picture of a style, she will be upfront with you and tell you if it'll work with your hair or not and she is great at coming up with ideas, tips and tricks to help you get your sought after look. She also cares about the condition and health of your hair and will not allow you to do anything that would damage it in any way. Karen is also a wizard with color, toner and knowing what will work best with your hair and what you want it to look like. She also knows how to cut and color hair to make it last. I constantly get compliments on my hair from right after it's done to right before I see her again. That is all thanks to Karen's magic, knowledge, skill and attention to detail and her clients. Nothing makes a woman feel more confident and beautiful than an amazing looking haircut and Karen succeeds every time. As a major bonus, she is also a fantastic person, has an epic memory and never fails to pick right up where you left off in conversation and life from the last appointment. Finding Karen was a true blessing. One of the things I admire and appreciate most about her is how patient she is and how carefully she listens to me as a client. I've been going to Karen for almost 10 years. I drive from LA to get my hair color and styled by her. The drive is worth it. She really knows her way with color and style. I have very stubborn greys and she knows how to make them go away beautifully. My natural color is dark brown, but she's added highlights, low lights, layers, texturing, deep conditioning, etc. and has changed things up for me over the years.
