Aaliyah took a long time to blow dry her hair, but thought all was ok. When I went to check out they added $21 to the $59 bill because she has long hair. I thought $80 was very steep for this casual salon and junior stylist, but I paid it and left. At home I noticed my daughter's hair was completely uneven. Went back next day and manager tried to fix the haircut, but because it was cut so unevenly she would have had to cut maybe 4 more inches off to fix it, which she said would grow back in a month. I don't know anyone whose hair grows that fast. When I said my daughter was upset with me because she just wanted to get an inexpensive haircut at Supercuts, she laughed. My response was they could not have done a worse job than what we received at Hue. No refund or anything was offered and it seemed like we were laughed at. If they were able to fix it, a refund is not necessary, however if the haircut is unfixable a refund should be offered. Aaliyah was nice, but I don't feel like you can charge $80 for an obviously brand new stylist who can't trim straight hair.

I walked into the salon with healthy hair and left looking like I had an unintended mullet. The crown of my head was cut extremely short, uneven, and over-texturized. Multiple stylists have since looked at my hair and told me there is very little they can do to correct it because too much hair was removed. The only solution is to wait for it to grow back. What makes this experience so upsetting is that Eric claims to have decades of experience. Based on the result, I simply cannot understand how a seasoned stylist could produce a haircut like this. During the appointment, I became uncomfortable and wanted to leave. If Eric felt that I was not the right client for him, the professional thing to do would have been to end the appointment. Instead, he continued cutting my hair. The final result was so extreme that, to me, it almost feels vindictive. That is how shocking and severe the outcome was. I am now facing many months, and likely close to a year, of growing my hair back before it can be properly corrected. Women should proceed with extreme caution before trusting Eric with their hair.

While washing my hair, the stylist even said, "This looks a lot warmer than I would have liked it to be," while discussing the dyes with another stylist. This concerned me, but I trusted that she knew what she was doing. I also went in for a specific service at the price I was given, but I was never informed that a different service was being performed. I only found out when I went to pay, was shocked by the price, and asked the front desk for a breakdown of what was done. I was then told additional services had been performed that I never asked for or consented to. Had I known beforehand, I would not have gone through with it.
