I SUED! DO NOT BUY HERE! BUYER BEWARE! In July 2025, during a medical alopecia episode, I went in needing professional guidance and made that clear. Customers are allowed to try on only three wigs before being required to purchase or leave. In hindsight, that was a red flag. I paid $1,500 after being told the wig was "flat iron straight" and would revert to a texture closer to my natural curls once washed. That was not accurate. The hair remained thin and stringy straight regardless of washing. The wig did not match my skin tone, and it was too big. Visible scalp differences in color, knots, and just overall not it. Not it at all, especially for $1500. In attempts to "fix" it, the scalp was burned, my head was burned, and sections of the hair were burned off with hot tools. The wig was altered and never corrected. After multiple visits seeking resolution, I was informed through a store employee that the owner was offering another wig at half off. I did not agree to purchase another wig. The wig was removed by the business with the representation that it would be fixed. It was never returned to me. I was told to come in to meet with the owner. I waited upstairs for over an hour while he was downstairs filming with a celebrity, and he did not meet with or acknowledge me, but just left right after. A store and employee apologized on his behalf. Before filing suit, I attempted to resolve this through texts, phone calls, and letters. One of the letters I even sent certified mail. I received no response, acknowledgment, and because of this no resolution. The owner was served twice by the sheriff, and did not appear in court. On February 19, 2026, the Los Angeles County Superior Court entered judgment in my favor for $6,625 (including costs). This is public record. I would not buy here. There are many stores with great quality wigs at better prices. If you choose to purchase from this business, you have been warned. There are other people who have received judgments. This is not the first time, and it certainly will not be the last. read more

Over paid for the wig and services and still they never posted my content as I booked the $800 for the model content smh I ended up posting on my Instagram but removing them from the tag tbh I'm really disappointed with ten quality of wig and promo the only reason why I ended up staying & getting it done was #1 the make up artist Stella was very kind and did do my make up as requested and Lilah the wig installer was able to accommodate my look and add one edge thank God !! tbh they lacked in consultation of the wig If I would've known I wasn't getting a full frontal I would've honestly took off and gone else were because for $650 I would've gotten the red hair wig I wanted and braided down and installed instead I ended up paying $525 for the wig and $300 more for the install and makeup which was supposedly, suppose to be included in the model booking On top of that it was a rainy day I drove from far which was an hour and a half just to be told they weren't inform of me coming and even tho I was talking to the owner over INSTA DM they definitely weren't as professional as seen on insta and it's really just a quick hack for insta clout the wig I bought started to have hair fall by day 3 and I have synthetic wigs that never sheded that bad till this day I reinstall them for less and the hair has never fell off my synthetics tbh I'm very disappointed with hair queen La the owner who never showed up and I truly commend the workers who were the main reason I even decided to go thru with my decision and shout to the installer Lilah and MUA Stella who honestly made me feel better even tho I regretted my decision instantly, regardless lesson learned I'm never coming here again it's really just a hype read more

I was looking for new sew in weft extensions and had researched and called so many hair supply stores in the area. Every place didn't carry curly extensions which i found was a lot harder to find than straight. I called Hair Queen LA and they carried long curly extensions in both Indian and Brazilian hair. I drove over an hour to the shop and when i was there i had a great experience. The woman helping me was knowledgeable and patient as I made a big decision between the two hair types for sale. I ended up purchasing two bundles of Brazilian curly extensions and I absolutely loved them! They were smooth, shiny and had the perfect amount of curl and volume that I wanted. The price was reasonable and it was worth making the trip for the service. I have recommended other people to purchase their extensions from Hair Queen and I will go back if and when I need more hair. read more

I was very interested in trying out this place as I've seen so many promotions and videos online advertising. Sadly I will not be trying this place out anymore after I found out they let child abusers be serviced. I recently noticed they serviced a mother who drank alcohol publicly while pregnant and is now allowing that same women to bring her sick neglected child into the business. I was appauled at how much the hair dressers did not care and let the child be live streamed while being in distress. I heard the police was called and nothing was done and nothing was reported. Sadly this is not the hair place I will be choosing. I advise others to really think before you give your hard earned money to this salon. She is known for starving her son who is nearly 3 years old , doesn't eat anything , survives off pediasure and does NOT have any type of feeding tube. He receives no medical assistance no therapy and has not seen a doctor since he was a month old. I'm appalled at what I witnessed on a live video of this place! They had a customer who is notorious for medically neglecting and abusing her special needs child there. The child was in distress and choking himself while the mother was just getting her wig installed and filming it! Worst part is.. police came to check on the baby bc of a call and this business helped her bring the baby to the back to "hide him" which first of all, innocent ppl don't do. Why would your first instinct be to hide ur child when police come in and u don't even know why or if they are even there for u. Secondly, that's aiding in child abuse! Helping her get away with it!! No one said or did anything about it! I could never go anywhere no matter how good that supports child abuse & neglect..Unreal. This business should've done more and spoken up to the police that she was trying to hide him and how he was in distress and she just let him crawl all over those floors and all that they have seen rather than stand their acting ignorant like they didn't see or hear any of it. I got my first sew in here and it was absolutely fantastic! I booked same day appointment, came in with hair that severely needed to be washed, and everyone was so sweet and accommodating. The girl who originally started my hair was very gentle with brushing through my previously braided hair, and took the time to wash my hair very thoroughly to protect my natural hair. With the sew in, they also used a net after I asked to protect my hair and limit tension, which took extra time but they were happy to do it. The space is also very clean, well lit, no drama, and overall chill. Definitely will be back anytime I'm in LA. read more

honestly, never again booked an appointment ahead of time but still had to wait 10-20 mins for my stylist to become available(?) and when she became avail she instantly pawned me off to a trainee. Trainee was sweet and attentive but obviously could've been helped by someone watching/giving tips/helping her. They were just like "oh you got this? cool." and just left her. Appointment lasted an hour longer than scheduled and made me 2 hours late to a different appointment. To make matters worse, homegirl at the front (the host? owner? receptionist?) was hashing the vibe anytime the salon got fun and she took pictures of everyone's hair except mine cus i guess i'm supposed to buy a wig from them and i came with my own bundles...lol yeah like i said never again. I could tell it wasn't tightly braided on in the first place... they had an attitude about me coming at that time and told me that they don't do hair this late but the website gives you the option to book until 6pm so if that's not how they do things then that needs to be changed so they aren't half assing people hair to get the fuck home.
