For a birthday present, my daughter arranged for me to get my hair done. I'd been going through so much and she wanted me to feel beautiful. She thought of everything and did everything on her own. I was so proud of how thorough her planning process was. One of my stops along the way was to get hair. She sent me 3 choices on IG to check out and I chose this place. I liked the selection and her IG page and how she interacted with customers on her page, willing to answer questions and comment. I also like to go into a shop and actually see and touch the hair, so I was glad that she had a storefront. I didn't want any place where I had to order it. I think many of us have either experienced or heard stories where people order the hair by mail and it's no good. After coming here to get hair now 3-4 times, I'd definitely trust mail order with them. I did not want to process my own hair, especially since I workout and would sweat out whatever style I had. I wanted something easy where I could get up and go. Getting weaves or extensions allows you to do all kinds of fun styles, cuts and colors that you wouldn't normally do with your own hair. It's a great way to try different styles and see if you'd want to wear it permanently. My first time here, I met China. She was so nice and extremely helpful to me. She answered all of my questions and made all kinds of suggestions. I've never had any problems with the hair. None of what I've bought has had an odor. I remember this and it was years ago to the point where embedded into my mind woman like her have no class. To even state that she doesn't recall serving me is probably because she was more attentive to her phone then she was taking care of me as her customer. IF YOU PLAN ON PURCHASING ANY HAIR FROM THIS STORE SMELL IT BEFORE YOU PURCHASE! I ordered 3 bundles from KitKat once before and the hair was of good quality but what is good quality when the hair smells like corn nuts? YES CORN NUTS! I called up there and was told that I couldn't exchange the hair because I had already taken off the label which was completely understandable, they suggested that I wash the hair with a specific shampoo and conditioner which I did and that didn't do anything but make it worse. After that, I desperately washed the hair with everything you can you think of, which again didn't help at all. So I recently returned to the store to purchase more bundles because I assumed that I had gotten a hold of a bad a batch the first time (my bad for thinking highly of the hair) but nope, the hair still stunk. I showed up to the store the next day and was told that I WOULD be able to exchange the bundles when the next shipment came in. I went up there multiple times and also called. Once the shipment arrived I was told that I COULD NOT exchange the hair. Long story short make sure you smell and checkout the hair before you pay your hard earned money. I get it, a policy is a policy but if your store does not allow exchanges make sure all of your employees follow that, I wasted time, energy, and gas traveling back and forth to bellflower. read more
