Since they got their new male worker I need to switch barbers; he's SO slow. The only plus about this place is that it's cheap, but that's all. You get what you pay for. Cuts aren't great. 15min cut should take 15mins.... Not 1 hour. They also don't honor appointments. They run late. read more

Cher is an angel!! She saved my hair and made it look alive again. She is very knowledgeable in what she does and cares a lot about the health of her client's hair. She would inform me about all of the steps she was doing and thoroughly explained what to avoid and how to manage it for after care! My hair feels so healthy after trying the Brizillian Bond treatment. I would recommend this treatment to anyone who has damaged ends~ The staff here is very nice! I am not much to complain nor am I a picky person but honestly this is probably the worst I have gotten my hair done. I asked for a bayalage and this is the results I received. The day of, it didn't look bad because it was styled and the color was a bit darker but the next day I notice my color became orange and my hair was very dry and damage. The technique was done really bad, especially on top and in the back was so uneven. The cut that I received was also horrible with dead ends still left intact. Overall I paid such an expensive amount(~$400) that it was ridiculous how much I paid for this type of job done. read more

The Cambodian lady gave me a 10 minute haircut and butchered my hair. She did not even wash my hair and I had hair all over my face and neck. I went into their bathroom and washed my hair myself using their sink and dried off using paper towels. She then charged me $25 for the worst haircut I ever had. I have to go to another salon to try and salvage my hair. What a train wreck. read more

I will NOT be coming back to this hair salon. My first problem uh was that I asked for highlights and the lady at the front desk bleached my entire head. When I asked about darkening the top since I had asked for highlights , the workers tried to argue with me -even though they were at fault. They kept adding things to my hair without asking- kept adding colors that I DID NOT ask for? In the end, after fighting, I got what I wanted but ended up with a chemical burn on my face from the bleach! This hair salon burned my face! After all this, I was argued with when I asked for a shoulder length cut and what I got was uneven layers and having to ask for a different hairstylist to help fix it. I found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try due to all the solid reviews. I called ahead and scheduled an appointment. I arrived and Dory cut my hair. She was very cordial and nice. She began with the clippers and it felt like she finished the sides so fast (it felt like a total of one yo three minutes). She didn't even fade the sides. Upon examining my sides both sides were uneven. I was hoping she would see it to fix it but she did not and turned the clippers off. As she began cutting the top, I already regretted coming here. She began using the scissors for the top. She didn't even texturize it and just pretty much cut it straight. It felt like a I was getting a bowl cut. She finished the top under one to three minutes. She removed the robe and said how do you like it. At this point, I was still looking at my sides and hoping she would catch it but she began applying gel to my hair. I couldn't wait anymore and had to tell her about the sides she missed. She was surprised at that fact that she missed it. She didn't even put the robe back on and began cutting the sides. Afterwards she apologized and I said it was okay and left after paying. I was disappointed at the lack of skill and detail to the haircut. I asked for a simple fade haircut and left with a cut I could have done myself. I would definitely not recommend this place. Maybe it was just the stylist that cut my hair but I left never wanting to come back. read more

Yes, I asked for a french braid. I'm a new mom. I'll be a weirdo if it means not having strands of my hair pulled out by a tenacious 4-month-old. Chrep is an amazing hair stylist. After a lazy bleach job at another salon, she did a retouch so amazingly and all my hair was an even platinum color (I have near black hair naturally). While it took 4+ hours, it was completely worth it as it was not rushed and done properly. On my next visit, I decided that while I was still blonde, I would try an ashy brown as we head into fall, still way lighter than my natural color. Again, Chrep did a fantastic job and brought me to a beautiful and even colored ash brown. I am so thrilled to head back to college looking fresh, thanks to Cut N Style. Melissa destroyed my hair she messed up the color re colored it over and over to fix it and it fell out. The manager tried to fix it with conditioning treatments where I have to go back weekly and was never there and had another employee do the treatments for me and she would complain about the manager and how she isnt making any money off doing the treatments for me. She made me feel awful, where I should be the one feeling awful I lost my beautiful hair and am left with ugly short destroyed hair that's falling out even more . It's awful I'm in tears about it . They stalinists talk about each other too they even told me , " oh melissa doesn't know a thing about color!" I'm pissed had I known that I wouldnt of let her do my hair . Very bad experience today. I have an appt at 4:30 for deep conditioning and haircut. Looking forward to getting a service from Chrep since she has excellent reviews. Got a call from her and said she can see me now so I stopped everything I was planning to do. Arrived at the salon 20 min as I told her and was waiting for someone to acknowledge my presence. I've never met her but I have a feeling it's the lady on the first stall talking to a customer about a haircut. Another employee came to greet me and told me to sit down and wait for Chrep. She confirmed the lady I suspected to be Chrep. To my surprise, she started cutting someone's hair knowing I already arrived. I got up and I told the other stylist, Sila that I cannot wait and she can go ahead and do my hair. Unfortunately, she has another customer with an appointment arriving. I just ended getting my hair shampoo. I was so upset that I did not even want my hair combed. As I was paying, they offered the service for free. I refused to get the shampoo for free. They charged me $7 and I gave a $5 tip. I guess they do not need my business. I am sure there are more hair places I can go to that will appreciate my support especially these hard times. I am sure Chrep has many customers. I wish her business well. I wish the lady that took my appointment gets a good haircut. It's hard to be upset these days. I went here to get a trim. My hair is very simple (no layers, no bangs, nothing,) and I got a few inches cut off. It cost $25, and that's without shampooing or anything. That's way too much for just a regular girl's haircut that's basically a straight line. I don't recommend coming here if you have simple hair and just need a trim. I have been coming here for years seeing Darla who unfortunately doesn't work here anymore she retired so today I made an appointment with Melissa for a root touch up. The best haircut and style I have ever gotten...EVER. Sophia shampooed my hair, and massaged not just my head, but my neck, and not just a courtesy massage, but a real, soothing massage. I have shoulder length hair that is thin and fine, and I am constantly flipping it around to make it behave. After I left, I had a styled cut that I didn't have to touch for the rest of the day (of course, the next day it looked much more like it was styled by me, which is minimal style, but the cut was still good). Check for their specials, and while having your hair cut, enjoy the relaxing view through the giant picture windows that look out on Palo Verde Avenue.
