genuinely never coming back here again do not choose karina as your tech.......I was a loyal lavish customer and I came in for a scheduled appointment at 6 PM. I sat and waited till anyone came at 6:15 but was fine with that (schedules run late i get it). I had a picture saved of a simple color with chrome on top and asked the tech if she could help me find the color. She told me I had to pick it out myself but I requested that she helped me since she was an expert and she seemed annoyed. Anyways, I chose out the color and she began. I asked her AFTER SHOWING A PICTURE OF MY DESIGN MULTIPLE TIMES (mind you, a simple color with chrome) if we could do a tester on one nail to see if the color looks good and she said yes. since the salon was closing up, they asked if they could charge me before the design was done and I said OK. I paid my $70 and left a tip. Fast forward 30 minutes she's working on the design and remembers that there's chrome in it. She says she didn't count me for the chrome charge and that I have to pay an extra $15. I was kind of taken aback and even asked her to confirm if this would be 15 on top of the 70$ she had already charged me and she said yes. Whatever I paid and continued. She starts my first nail with a red color and it looks so bright that I remind her if we can test just one nail. She gets so annoyed and starts complaining saying she'll have to charge me extra if we test the nails and have to take them off and goes on to say that it's very late and she should be home right now. That moment made me feel so bad and embarrassed and on top of that, I had to pay so much more than I was expecting for a simple design that the entire experience was ruined. like I understand that people get tired after a long day, but is it my fault that I had a *SCHEDULED* appointment and that she just so happened to be my nail tech? It seemed like she was so frustrated throughout the entirety of the process that I regretted even coming in the first place. read more

The lady was sweet, but I told her I may be sensitive to whatever they are putting on my feet because my skin started to burn. Little did I know after getting my pedicure it was a chemical burn lasted 5 days. It was either her gloves or the solution but I told her that my foot was burning and that I have sensitive skin. I'm so sorry but I will not go here again. I told her my foot had really bad callous but she didn't have to scrub my foot raw. Attached is a picture of my heel. Today my best friend went to this place for a toe nail polish. The gentleman that serviced her did not speak English. It was the worst experience ever, he was rough and aggressive treating her, he was not able to communicate. She was understanding with the language limitation. When she asked for the slippers at the end of the service he started making aggressive hand expressions indicating to her, what she understood, to hurry up and leave. So she asked if he wanted her to leave. He said "no, no, no" the other workers started laughing at her. Then one explained that "he didn't want her to look at him" and they kept laughing. My best friend has extreme ocular strabismus (her eye cannot focus) It is unbelievable that in this day and age people could be so rude and ignorant that they would publicly laugh at her. Horrible experience, horrible job. The staff is extremely rude and In personable. The man doing my acrylics would yank my arm and scream at me every time I talked to my friend who was visiting in town. Made my friend soak her hands in a bowl of pure acetone for 35-40 min, causing her skin to burn off and her fingers were shriveling, meanwhile everyone who came in after us got seen beforehand. Multiple ladies came up to her and refused to do her nails for a reason I do not know. In the middle of her getting her nails done the lady got up and left for 15 min while we sat there waiting. After spending $140+tips on manicures my nail chipped THE. VERY. NEXT. DAY. And my entire nail came off 2 days later. The pricing was insane and inconsistent. They charged me $15 to add a flower on my friends nails and extra $10 to round hers as well. Horrible experience, horrible job and will never be coming back. I was getting dip and he started squeezing my nails and fingers really hard, it hurt. He kept telling me not to move when I wasn't moving. Just being extremely mean. Borderline yelling at me and being super hostile. My sister stepped in and he said he wasn't going to finish my nails. He finally ended up finishing his part of my nails and Mimi did my design. We booked two pedicures, one gel manicure and one regular manicure. They took us immediately for the pedicures, which was great, but the woman handed me a pillow for some reason and then just left it on my lap the whole time. I asked for a French pedicure and she asked several times if I wanted gel and I said no, only on my fingers. She continued to push it after saying no. Then she didn't clean up the French at all. Two of my toes are painted completely white. When we were done with our pedicures, instead of moving us to the manicure stations, they did my boyfriend's manicure in the pedicure chair and left my fingers soaking in acetone for 30 minutes (I previously had gel on). Once they finally took me, I was asked several times if I wanted dip on my nails, even after saying no, just the gel. A woman who came in after me for a pedicure and dip manicure got out faster than I did. There are so many nail salons in the area, no need to visit this one again. read more

I can confidently say my experience here was full of awkward moments unreliable pricing and terrible experience. I will start by saying I made an appointment for a fill. I had received a full set dip from here the previous week for my gender reveal. That experience was normal nothing crazy great or bad. My nails looked like the picture shown. If it were up to only that experience with the male owner of the shop they would have received 4 stars. I tipped him generously for completing the painted on French tip design I requested. HOWEVER, I went back in today a week later to get a fill and change the color of paint on the French tip and was sat in a chair where the apparent female owner of the salon began drilling off the previous polish. While trying to enjoy my experience she was badgering this other nail tech named Linda, a white lady with red hair saying "are you done yet, Linda?" "How much longer Linda" over and over as she was working on her own client. This was a very uncomfortable experience. Wether "Linda is new or has been there for a while... treating her that way in front of clients or in general puts a bad taste in my mouth. After my tech had finished removing the previous polish she sent me over to Linda for her to preform the fill and fresh paint. Linda did great. Another client had requested a hailey beiber gloss and I thought it was pretty so I asked for that too as it is just a shimmer on top. Linda said after starting the shimmer it will be $10 dollars more. The male tech (Sam) beside Linda said "I don't charge for the shimmer" so that made me feel like I was already being taken advantage of. When it was time to Pay Linda asked the tech that started my nails otherwise the female owner how much to charge. The Tech response was $65! I voiced my concern by saying I received a fill and you are charging more that I originally paid for the full set a week ago. She said dip is $45 plus painting tip $5 plus shimmer is $10. I said Ma'am I got a fill not a full set. She said we don't do fills... umm so why did you do a fill and not tell me you are going to charge for a full set! She then said how much did you pay originally I said if your prices are standard then you should know. So she said your original set should have been $50 dollars... well I was charged $55 dollars for the original set and have the recipe! I felt so taken advantage of and upset. I paid the $65 and the tipped Linda as she did a good jobI left and will not return. This wasn't a lack of communication this was sheer greed and taking advantage of people. read more

Love this salon and our nails always look very nice, but I scheduled three manis together-a day in advance-so that my girls could all start and finish together, but they did two and then did the third after the first two were done. I went for a walk in and they were nice, they tried to arrange to get me a pedicure and a manicure. Techs were very friendly but the service was poor. Pedicure was not good at all. They did not do the cuticles, not smooth feet and the polish could be better. I was supposed to choose between an extended massage or paraffin but the tech chose for me, not even 5 min of massage and not a good one. Manicure with a different tech, she was super nice, but took a long time to do gel manicure. Also she burnt several of my nails with the grinder, it was a bit painful. Lavish nails use to be one of my favorite places to get pedicures. But I got my nails done and it came out no so well. One nail was really messed up. When I told her all she said was wait for the process. She attempted to fix it just made the nail thicker and not look good. Also the end color was not at all the same as the sample shown. read more

Greet your customers. Make them feel welcome. I walked into the salon and i felt immediately unwelcomed. I was then given no instruction on where to sit or where to pick out a color. So i wondered around and found all the nail polish myself. The lady doing my nails then came up to me and said "sit down" so i said "i havnt picked my color out yet" and she again said "sit down".
