Which resulted is in blue green roots. This happened because my hair was simply too porous and it's sucked all pigment up asap. Instead of telling me to wait, she told me to come back to the salon the next day and applied a bleach bath and color remover but called it "her little concoction ". My scalp was actually on fire within minutes. She panicked rinsed it out and started to rip a done brush through my hair. Kid shaft down no product causing more breakage. It literally was snowing on the salon from my hair snapping. She stopped at 20% dry. Offered a complimentary deep conditioning treatment and said " oh girl your hair will just suck up all the moisture why don't you leave it in, and rinse when you get home?" All while stating she had another appointment and had double booked herself. I asked multiple times if it was OK and she said yes I lived in Auburn at the time so in the time it took 30 minutes to drive home my hair was just so itchy. I was texting her the entire time panicking. I had to run up my fifth floor apartment and take the plastic cap off my head to notice that over 7 inches of my hair instantly fell to the floor, not to mention my hair was highlighter, yellow, and orange color. At first, she apologized and offered a full refund, I told her that I wanted to know how I could fix my hair and she said she could not get me back in, then she switched and told me that she would rather just do a full refund. But she could not do it right then cause she had a client in her chair, she said that as soon as she was finished with that client, she will refund me discontinued for several hours. She never once refunded my card. Finally, at the end of the afternoon, I told her I was coming into the salon to get a refund. She told me that she would lock the door and not let me in and that if I were to come, the police would be called. I quickly screenshot it all of our conversation While telling her that I had a special event and now had to go rush and double pay to get my hair done again and fixed. She then began ignoring all of my calls and messages until two days later and told me that she would not be giving me a refund at all. She felt she had done nothing wrong. Fast-forward to me, going to get my hair fixed at a very professional salon, and all of a sudden a lawyer calls me out of the blue tells me that I am a scam artist, I am a single mother, and how could I possibly afford to get my hair done??!! He said that he did not believe for one second that I could afford to pay for it again, while calling me all kinds of names and just straight bullying me. I provided Kamy and also this so-called lawyer the receipt from my service pictures of my hair after the service where we had to do a major chemical cut to even cut off more of the damage that she caused. They even went so far to call the owner of the Salon directly and demand to know what I had done and how much I had paid when the Salon told them he accuse them of lying and he did not believe that I actually paid for my service. The owner of the salon and two other staff members recorded the phone call and also typed out a very lengthy letter on the harassment from the so-called lawyer. Luckily, for me, the statute of limitations has not ran out, and I am now taking her to court. She still says that she has done nothing wrong. It's pretty sad. Several hairstylist have had horrible experiences with her, I know of four clients directly, the reviews are also bad about her and her Salon didn't even last a year.

I had scheduled an appointment with Lane who specializes and is very knowledgeable when it comes to all things curls and color. I've actually followed lane from her previous salon because when you find a stylist you go where they go to continue to get great results. What I love about Lane is how realistic she is with color she will not take you from black to platinum blonde over night because taking care of your hair is her top priority. I've sent many friends her way over the years because she is that good. Personally I've been following the CGM (curly girl method) for my hair over the last few years and it's such a sigh of relief when you find somebody who doesn't butcher your curls. Plus I'm always learning new ways to keep my curls popping from methods to products that don't have harsh chemicals or silicone in them, Lane walked me through it all. On my last visit I needed a touch up on my ends as well as blonde. Having a baby again my blonde had been neglected and let me tell you it feels good to be back.
