When you're receiving color, you get to sit at this GORGEOUS natural wood table in the back with other goddesses who are also getting their hair colored! I have met so many inspiring women here and always connect on an intimate level with at least one. It's an inviting atmosphere and so much fun to chat it up with other stylists and customers. They even have polish for you to do your nails or these two goddesses (Del being of them) that can hook you up with a luxurious, mini make-up makeover. The products they sell there are divine! Once you are ready to rinse, get ready for one of the most stunning murals on the ceiling, done by a local goddess artist! After you're done here, you will then go to your individual station like many other salons. Hair Goddess Naja: Naja is the queen of color! She has supported me with many hours of exciting color combinations. And what a trooper she is because I have massively thick hair! She is real too. When I wanted to go with lighter colors, she walked me through the full process stating it would take multiple trips to get my black hair light enough while maintaining the integrity of my hair. I love the atmosphere, the decor, the headrests in the shampoo bowl, and Chelsea who makes my hair magic. I go there every few months to retouch my color and I love my results. Chelsea can work magic. Over the years I've tweaked my hair color here and there and I always leave happy. The drive to Drake Nelson is much more than what it was when I went to Tukwila, but considering I can go early to beat traffic coming in and Chelsea's prices are more affordable than at Gene Juarez I am fine with the commute.
