Worst haircut I've ever had. Went in for a simple cut to raise the style I had up a few inches. The dude was so busy bragging about his rock star past that he didn't listen to me at all. He asked if I wanted the back cut at the nape, I said NO and he did it anyway. I told him not to layer the sides and he did it any way. The angle of the bob is chopped and uneven, one side is almost an inch longer than the other side. He knew he cut it shorter than I asked for, so he blow dried it trying to hide the horrible haircut. He told me he wasn't going to charge for the blowout but he did, so it was also the most expensive haircut I've ever gotten as well as the worst. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

I've been coming to this location and made appts with Teresa many times in the last 12 years. Sometimes I let my hair grow long and a few times she gave me a cute stacked asymmetrical bob when I was ready to donate to Locks of Love. Prices are affordable and I would recommend her to anyone wanting a fresh new look. I'm moving and before I go I had to leave my review as she will be missed. And those of you leaving 1 star because you didn't have an appointment and saying they were just standing around and turned me away, they probably had a client who did have an appointment due in 5 or 10 minutes and if you were in their seat, then that would set all other appointments behind. I went to Tammara to fix my hair that a high end salon messed up or did not tell me that it would turn my hair orange.....but when i met with Tammara i was like my wedding was like a few months ahead and didnt want to have orange hair for my wedding......Soooo this amazing person toned my hair down all for 50 dollars! TOTAL RIP OFF! Went in as a walk-in and asked for a simple "trim"! i Have short hair and had just had a hair cut in Oregon 3 days ago but I decided I'd like to trim (shorten) the area around my ears and then give me a few whispy side burns. Took her about 10 minutes to trim. She did NOT shampoo ( as there was no need to do so). She could have just squirted that area with a water bottle but she chose to cut it dry (which was fine). When I got to the register she charged me $25 shampoo & cut!!!! What they hell? I said "are you kidding?" I mean this was like a bang trim! She said "no, that's the charge!" Obviously there was NO TIP!!! I was fuming all the way home. I tried to reach out to the salon website via email but the site is in a foreign language with no way to translate to English! This whole experience is absolutely ridiculous! I am a fan of this Hairmasters ONLY if I get Kim for my sons haircut. Kim is a great hair stylist and knows that not every boy wants the typical "buzz cut". She is able to make short hair stylish for boys and is very friendly and efficient. The price of a kids cut is good -12.00. I am not sure I will pay 17.00 for my sons hair when he turns 12 next year. I can take him to a barber for a lot cheaper so I am hoping to find some coupons or deals to continue bringing him to hair masters. The salon is clean and easy to get to, in the Safeway plaza. Was referred by a regular customer. So I made an appointment for me and my friend to get cuts & foils. We both took the day off work to do this and 1 hour before our appointments they canceled on us and said they were booked and couldn't get us in till Friday. Kinda hard when we both work that day. Called and lady was rude and we won't be back! Also the person that referred me said she almost stopped going there because the lady that was rude to me today was also very rude to her one day when she was trying to make an appointment so she did go somewhere else after being a regular there for 5 years. But she liked Lauren enough to go back and try again. The woman who answered the phone needs to be taught better customer service skills. read more

When I went in, I was quickly greeted and met my stylist. She took the time to listen to my specific requests for the hair cut and asked questions to be sure she understood what I was looking for. Once the hair cut was complete, she offered to touch up any areas that I might not be satisfied with as far as length, etc. She took her time and made sure I was satisfied with the hair cut. I never felt rushed or made to feel like I was asking too much. All of the staff members on duty were friendly and courteous and made me feel welcome. We had a great experience here. When we walked in we were greeted in a friendly manor. A stylist named Jessie came up to the counter right away to get us checked in. My son needed a trim for an upcoming play he is in. We went in with a specific hairstyle in mind and showed a picture. Jessie was able to do the cut and style. She also gave me tips and showed me what to do so that I would be able to style it at home the same way. She went out of her way to be helpful. read more

Really disappointed. Was two years ago and still today. I only come here for products because it's closer to home among other things. 10 minutes prior to closing, on Mother's Day to be exact, they were unable to sell products or a gift card because "their manager allows them to close their register early!" Why sit around and leave the OPEN sign on? As I walked in another customer was turned away. And wouldn't you think that if you work at a hair salon you can at least look the part.
