But, since my 1st visit at this location and had an opportunity to have Ms. Gina cut my hair, I've been returning to this location on a regular visit. DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT GOING OR EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME TO LIFTING A FINGER TO CALL! I had medium-long hair for a VERY, VERY, VERY long time and one day decided to try to go short just to try something new. So I decided I wanted short layers. This Asian lady (her name sounds like Young or Yun) chopped my and I SH*T you not, it was horrible! I didn't notice after the cut that my hair was unevenly layered until 2 days later when u straightened it out myself. Parting my hair right down the middle, the left side is shorter than the right. So I called them back & l got even more tragic info from the person on the other line (she sounded young and maybe local). I didn't intend to get Young or Yun fired or blast her over the phone but apparently she was off that day. All I asked is if I can come in to get my hair fixed bc I had been in public probably looking stupid with my hair! First she tells me I need to speak with the manager (who was off that day). So I asked if she could call the manager and she tells me "oh, I am not allowed to call or bother her because it's her day off." I was like "Really?" "So why don't you give me her number that way you don't call her but I will," of course that was an epic fail! I was getting even more irrirated over the fact that my hair was messed up, Yun (my so called stylist) was off, the manager was off, and I was told to come in over the weekend when Yun gets back to work! I was like "oh! So you want me to wear my hair for another couple days til anyone can get it fixed?" I swear I was angry by then. I started giving her attitude (I mean who wouldn't) until finally she told me I could be seen. So I went back. IT GETS EVEN MORE DEPRESSING! Another older Asian lady TRIED to fix my hair but FAILED! She couldn't!!!! After chopping of a few more inches, I told her to stop! I didn't wanna walk out of there with even way more shorter hair! They tried to set me up for another appointment & I WAS LIKE NO! I'm going somewhere else! LEFT THAT HELL ANNOYED, IRRITATED UPSET AND ANGRY! I went back home, looked in the mirror and parted my hair stretching both sides from root to tip trying to figure out why it can't be fixed! I WAS SO MAD I TOOK THE SCISSOR AND TRIED TO EVEN IT OUT MYSELF! I WILL NOT LIE, I THINK MY TRYING WAS MORE PROFESSIONAL THAN THE SO CALLED PROFESSIONALS! Ok It's still not satisfying and I'm still pretty angry with my hairdresser/stylist, the workers and the manager but LIFE GOES ON. My mom usually goes to this location and gets her hair cut by the same women (I can't remember her name). That women was there but another worker (who I also don't know the name of) ended up doing her hair. I'm upset that my mom did not advocate for herself when they switched and that was the beginning of a terrible experience. The moral is if you choose this location - to reiterate and explain what you want as if you were talking to a child OR ELSE it becomes what ever that women decided she wanted. My mother had just gotten to shoulder length hair and just wanted to get a trim so her hair would be between her ear and her shoulder. This women cut shorter and shorter and then got the clippers out and went to town. My mom was shocked and at that point... there is no way of fixing it. She was in literal tears that ALL of her hair was basically cut off. I have added a photo that I had to snap because she is so embarrassed about it. The hair cut is a fine mens style hair cut but that is NOT what she wants and that is NOT what makes her feel confident and beautiful. If you come here. My color post cut and perm turned out to be a dream come true. I have difficulty with my hair due to old age and being rear-ended a year ago. This was just what I wanted and more. This is my third visit to this location, and to my observations, all was more then up to par. The toilet is clean, no lice to be found, courtesy and cooperation among the staff. Lots of laughs. A great time had by all. Wayne, my stylist, is a true genius, and makes me feel like I am the most special person to have sat in his chair, ever. Let's be frank. These stylists are not plastic surgeons, they can not reshape your face, but will work with what there is to make the very best version of what you can be. If you don't look like Brad or Angie going in, chances are you won't going out either. But, there is one heck of a chance you will be happier with your new look. Expect a miracle, but a minor one. We went in at 6:30pm, hours online say they close at 8. There's two workers, two people in the chairs. All we asked for was a simple boys cut of short on sides and back and a trim on top (comb over hair cut) the lady was very rude and mentioned they had an appointment at 7 and that the person cutting another boys hair wouldn't be done within 30 mins so we couldn't wait. After I load my kids back into the car we see that person checking out the boy they were cutting. Nothing like being refused for service for no reason. I will never give this company my business again, hopefully the manager can find evening workers who actually feel like working. read more

I've visited this place twice. The first visit went very well and I was pleased with the cut I received. The second visit was a different story. My girlfriend and I attempted to get our hair cuts simultaneously and had made appointments accordingly. When the time came to be seated, they had space for only one of us. Not five minutes later, another woman walked in and was seated immediately. The cut I received was pathetic, at best. The stylist was very tough with her shears and showed no interest in ensuring that I was not discomforted by her performance. I generally prefer my haircut experiences to be more measured and careful. This was neither. I wish they had been much more courteous about skipping my girlfriend's appointment and had been more careful with their shears. read more

I went in for just a simple blow out service, I'm getting pictures done tomorrow and my normal stylist is sick so I just went to the closest salon, thinking who can screw up a blow out? Well, apparently they can. Sure, they shampoo'd my hair, but I didn't get conditioner. And the blow dry, turns out is more like a blow almost-dry, give you split ends, frizzy forever kind of deal. I don't trust people cutting my hair because it's very curly but I wear it straight. So when it's wet it looks different when dry. They have a deal were they shampoo, cut, and style your hair so I thought it would be good for them to straighten it after to see how it lays when I style it (and she did end up cutting it a little more after she straightened it, so I was right)... but they charged me $10 extra unexpectedly for them straightening my hair. She was nice and listened to me though, overall I'm happy with how my hair turned out, even if it ended up being about $35 (tip included). read more

Right after Trump and Kim Jung On appeared together at the Hanoi summit and a pundit described them as the "latest victims of Hairmasters", I viewed my upcoming appoint for a cut with tripadation. However, I had found previous stylists at Hairmasters quite talented in the past. My appointment wa as with Wayne, and I was quickly assured that we were on the same page af it after a few moments of conversation. He assured me of his talent, and the rest is history. So, I got a haircut I loved and decided to double down and asked for an appointment for a perm. Wayne said "no problem *, and I once again put my hair out for flammable kindling. Again, I was not disappointed. My perm looked a little tight at first, but Wayne assured me that it would loosen up. It has. I loved this experience as far as the end results go, the atmosphere, the friendliness and the professionalism of the staff. Really enjoyed Wayne and his co-workers. Had a very fun time and came out with good hair. read more

If I could give 0 stars i would. We arrived and were told to come back an hour later. They put our names in the book and we left and returned in time for our appointment. Somehow during check in the lady completely ignores me and only checks in my husband and the other guy. Before I can say anything she runs off. They eventually come and get the other guy waiting (at this point we're 15 min passed our appointment time). 5 min later a lady walks in and asks if her hairdresser would have time for her since she didn't make an appointment. She is told 10 min and finally notice that they messed up at the check in but bring my husband back. Lady that walked in after gets checked in and I finally get checked in and the lady is told to bring me back first. Well that didn't happen. I waited 1.5 hours to be skipped over by someone who walked in the door and was told "well maybe they had an appointment". When I refuted this claim the lady got snippy with me and I left. Will not be returning. It's not worth the 1.5 hour wait only to be skipped by other walk ins and be ignored. read more

Stopped in here on a sort of whim. I had been going to another place since I moved here in January and the person to whom I went just got progressively worse. Came in to get a "hair fix" and Mikey fixed me right up. There was no wait, he was funny, and I got exactly what I asked for - and I didn't really have to ask, because he could see the issue I was having - AND it was about seven dollars cheaper than my previous place. Also discovered I could get the same service I had been paying for (bleach, color (pink!), and cut) for $30 cheaper than before! Will re-review after he does the other services, but I have a feeling I will be one happy woman! read more

I would of never stepped in a place like this, but my usual salon (ulta) had no availability so I was desperate, plus i had to go to a party that night. I called and made an appointment, but thought it was strange whoever answered the phone did not ask my name and just said ok you come....odd. Anyhow I got there, and my stylist looked very young (which I felt sketchy about her cutting my hair) I would of liked someone that's been in the business for at least few years with plenty experience, but what the hell (Never judge I was thinking to myself). So my hair was already in a style, but grew out so I wanted a cut similar to what I had from ulta. I showed her the picture I had (same pic I showed ulta stylist) and asked if she can do this, she replied yes so I braced myself. At first it was looking ok, then I told her I wanted to be buzzed cut with the clippers on the right side but long enough to slick down. She buzzed my hair so short it spiked out and there's no going back from that. After that mistake I just wanted to get done fast, so I asked her to layer my left side and blend it...OMG my hair was so choppy looked like my 2yr old gave mom a haircut. When I said layers it didn't mean for her to make the side of my hair look like steps. Then I thought she could fix it by thinning it out, big mistake (usually well most every time people get hair thinned out they use the scissors with one side that looks like a come go over entire hair so it blends) she kept cutting, here, there....i was done. I'm not a mean person so I really can't yell at anyone, but the way I was looking in that chair she should of asked her client "is everything ok", then I could of said HELL NO!!! So I told her please blow dry my hair so I can get going. She asked me what kind of products do I use in my hair, and I told her only spray wax or Pomade on the side she was gone for at least 5 minutes I guess looking for products and came back with Hairspray and I told her I don't use that don't put it in my hair but she put it underneath which pissed me off the hairspray she had wasn't even aerosol it was from a pump which I have to take care and it weighs it down. So after all this I want to leave fast but I saw that they had my Redken spray wax and it was cheaper than Ulta so I grab that and wanted to get a pomade because of the sign saying second product 50% off my God don't ever ask them about any products this girl took a million years to find a Pomade for me that wasn't a man's then was opening up the products to make sure that it was pomade and on top of that she took 15 minutes to even work the register and there are other people waiting. So I got in my car and flip-down advisor to look in the mirror I started crying so badly my hair it was ruined when I got home my oldest daughter told me to call Ulta right now to get it fixed because I was crying uncontrollably and did not even want to step out of the house looking this bad. Luckily my stylist I usually go to was there and told me that she would fix it if I came in now so I rushed and got my hair fixed and everybody at that salon told me to never step into HairMasters their trash how could they do this to somebody it's their livelihood. I agreed, and got hugs from all the stylist so I felt a little bitter the only thing that made me mad at the end, I spent $45 at HairMasters then had to turn around and spend another 55 at ulta. Bottom line HairMasters is trash unless you are an older woman getting a perm, or your hair set.... beware!!! Enter that place at your own risk read more

I was really lucky and got Jamie who I'm not sure is a permanent staff there or just there for courses. After I explained to her and asked a billion questions... which she was really patient about... she went on with my hair. I have came in here twice now and had just fine experiences. Each time, i walked in. And each time I got Young. The first time she cut my hair I told her i want mine like yours. She did it. Turned out fine. And today I took a picture in with me and she cut it just like the picture. What I like about her is she doesnt talk much. I asked her for a style and even had a picture well she took my hair in a few bunches, cut it horizontally and that was it. it almost looks like she put a bowl over my head. DO NOT COME HERE! 2 HORRIBLE experiences! I took my boys about a year ago for hair cuts by Yong (?). When the cut was finished, they had their hair styled and it looked fine. The next morning after their showers and their hair laid flat, I saw the horror that was their hair. Jagged, crooked. I had to shave their heads. Today I went in for a bang trim (they were too long and a little uneven but ok). I had the misfortune of getting Tracy who, AFTER she began cutting my bangs, started talking about a past client that was upset with how she cut her bangs and "totally freaked out". Now I was nervous. I only came back because I figured a bang trim wasn't too difficult. When she was done and I saw the result, I wanted to cry. She butchered them. They are horrible. I have NEVER had someone so completely inept at cutting bangs. There is no fixing them, she didn't leave enough to fix! She had the nerve to charge me still even though it was clear they looked like crap and while she was ringing me up said "Ya know, looking back, I should have just textured and not trimmed". Yea, thanks for that now Tracy. Get a new job, you're horrible at this one and apparently, I'm not the only one who thinks so. read more
