Nothing negative to say about being loyal to Great Clips since 2012 from Arizona all the way to Washington State. But, since my 1st visit at this location and had an opportunity to have Ms. Gina cut my hair, I've been returning to this location on a regular visit. I was also able to have other stylist work in my hair and they've all taken the time to do their magic and never rushing to give me the look I've longed for. Loyalty so walking around with a mane is worth the wait. Thank you Hair Masters at Hair Master for your professional artistic hands, scissors and clippers when initiating your work on my head.

Showed 3 possible short later styles I would like, and got NOTHING!!!!

DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT GOING OR EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME TO LIFTING A FINGER TO CALL! I had medium-long hair for a VERY, VERY, VERY long time and one day decided to try to go short just to try something new. So I decided I wanted short layers. This Asian lady (her name sounds like Young or Yun) chopped my and I SH*T you not, it was horrible! I didn't notice after the cut that my hair was unevenly layered until 2 days later when u straightened it out myself. Parting my hair right down the middle, the left side is shorter than the right. So I called them back & l got even more tragic info from the person on the other line (she sounded young and maybe local). I didn't intend to get Young or Yun fired or blast her over the phone but apparently she was off that day. All I asked is if I can come in to get my hair fixed bc I had been in public probably looking stupid with my hair! First she tells me I need to speak with the manager (who was off that day). So I asked if she could call the manager and she tells me "oh, I am not allowed to call or bother her because it's her day off." I was like "Really?" "So why don't you give me her number that way you don't call her but I will," of course that was an epic fail! I was getting even more irrirated over the fact that my hair was messed up, Yun (my so called stylist) was off, the manager was off, and I was told to come in over the weekend when Yun gets back to work! I was like "oh! So you want me to wear my hair for another couple days til anyone can get it fixed?" I swear I was angry by then. I started giving her attitude (I mean who wouldn't) until finally she told me I could be seen. So I went back. IT GETS EVEN MORE DEPRESSING! Another older Asian lady TRIED to fix my hair but FAILED! She couldn't!!!! After chopping of a few more inches, I told her to stop! I didn't wanna walk out of there with even way more shorter hair! They tried to set me up for another appointment & I WAS LIKE NO! I'm going somewhere else! LEFT THAT HELL ANNOYED, IRRITATED UPSET AND ANGRY! I went back home, looked in the mirror and parted my hair stretching both sides from root to tip trying to figure out why it can't be fixed! I WAS SO MAD I TOOK THE SCISSOR AND TRIED TO EVEN IT OUT MYSELF! I WILL NOT LIE, I THINK MY TRYING WAS MORE PROFESSIONAL THAN THE SO CALLED PROFESSIONALS! Ok It's still not satisfying and I'm still pretty angry with my hairdresser/stylist, the workers and the manager but LIFE GOES ON. IM just going to have to deal with this until my hair grows out a little more and I AM NEVER GOING BACK THERE! I TOLD EACH AND EVERYONE OF MY FRIENDS AND FAM NOT TO DO SO AS WELL! Makes me tell myself "I SHOULDNT HAVE THOUGHT TO CUT MY HAIR IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! I PROMISE ITS A WASTE OF YOUR TIME, MONEY AND YOU WILL NOT BE SATISFIED IN THE END!

My friend, who could not be happier!

My color post cut and perm turned out to be a dream come true. I have difficulty with my hair due to old age and being rear-ended a year ago. This was just what I wanted and more. This is my third visit to this location, and to my observations, all was more then up to par. The toilet is clean, no lice to be found, courtesy and cooperation among the staff. Lots of laughs. A great time had by all. Wayne, my stylist, is a true genius, and makes me feel like I am the most special person to have sat in his chair, ever. Let's be frank. These stylists are not plastic surgeons, they can not reshape your face, but will work with what there is to make the very best version of what you can be. If you don't look like Brad or Angie going in, chances are you won't going out either. But, there is one heck of a chance you will be happier with your new look. Expect a miracle, but a minor one. I asked to be a tall thin blonde. Did not happen, but I sure look fantastic.

This was their third attempt at this. Garbage hair stylists. They're friendly, but can't cut hair.

Upon entering for my appointment the two gals that I engaged with were very welcoming. I believe the gal that checked me in was Megan and the other gal I forget her name but she has red hair with cute bangs in a ponytail who was letting me know not to worry about the hour parking in front of the salon. My advice to those new to the salon is to get there early as parking is limited in the front and the ample parking would be across the street or in the residential area. Now let me get to my stylist who wow'ed me. This was my second time around with this stylist. Backstory I met Shawn Babauta at JCPenny as I went in to get a haircut and she mentioned she was moving to Dolce Salon which was the best decision she made as well as for Dolce Salon to add an amazing stylist to their team. Shawn is so talented and the thing I love about Shawn when I first met her was she listened to what my concerns were and what my inspiration was. Also Shawn gives good feedback on styles that compliment your face and how much work a certain style would be for example bangs. That's a plus for me because not many stylists listen or give you that type of feedback. When it comes to a long term stylist I feel that not only are their talents a plus but also vibing with them is important. Shawn I'm so happy my husband found you on social media because moving here due to a military move is always a bit rough. Now to end my long review go check out the pictures I will attach because Shawn did more than what I expected and then some! That's how talented Shawn is! You will see before and after pics.

The first time I sat in her chair she was faced with a major hair disaster and she just intuitively knew exactly what to do -- no lengthy consultation, no hesitation, just pure skill and instinct. She's warm, friendly, and genuinely fun to talk to, which makes the whole experience something I actually look forward to rather than just another errand. If you're looking for a stylist who truly listens, has an incredible eye, and makes you feel completely at ease, Ciri is your person. She's an absolute gem!

She was also 45 minutes late to our appointment, texting me that she was late just a few minutes before, while I was already parking. When I told her and the salon owner, Jolene Dittmar, that my scalp was burned, neither took responsibility. Trena want to do yet another correction, which of course I refused. I wasn't going to let her hurt me again. Jolene three weeks later after much back and forth, said she would refund my $200. She did not. She also complained to me that Trena was hard to talk to due to her personality, so she couldn't address it with Trena. My scalp burned for four days, I had sores all over it for three weeks, and it finally is mostly healed now four weeks later. I've never written a bad review of a salon, and certainly never complained. I'm 59 years old, a retired school teacher, I have colored my hair all my adult life, and I NEVER had a scalp problem before. I am reporting to the Cosmetology board and to the state Consumer protection department. Here's exactly what happened: * I booked a full cut, color, and style appointment for warm dark blonde - auburn color. My wavy hair was just longer than my shoulders. I did not have bangs or layers. The color was a light ash blond. We had a text consultation in advance. * Trena changed the appointment time at the last minute, when I was finding parking for the appointment. * Made me wait even longer while she took a consult (non paying!) client. In all, she was about 45 minutes late starting my appointment. She then seemed to have forgetten everything about our text consultation. * Trena left the salon for over 30 minutes while the chemicals were processing, instead of staying and checking on it. * Trena overprocessed the coloring because she was not in the salon, and it was bright orange--the color I said multiple times I wanted to avoid at all costs. I wanted a warm dark blond / brown. It's not auburn or copper or caramel. Day glow orange. Trena reacted very nervously and said we could correct it with a second darker color. * Trena tried to tell me I didn't need a cut, but then said she'd trim following the preexisting lines. She then fushed the cut (spent literally two to three minutes on it) and chopped several very short chunks totally unevenly. The right side ended up with chunks 3-4 inches shorter. One area has a chunk that is 6-8 inches shorter (at my ear level). * Trena then told me to style it myself at the end (!). She seems to be rushing me out. (She probably was.) I ended up leaving with my hair still wet, after sitting (mostly alone) in the salon for three hours. * Did not wash out the dye completely. It was 45 minutes while I drove home, plus 15 minutes in the salon. My scalp was burning. * I washed out dye when I got home. It was absolutely dye, not just normal washout from the hair. I scraped dye off my scalp. * My scalp developed a dozen or more sores from the chemical burn. These did not heal until three weeks later. I only used shampoo twice in that time. I did apply Cera Vie every other day to the scalp (dermatologist recommended). Also, the salon is not spa like at all. Normally, I don't care what a place looks like, but their website very much misrepresents the place. Not only do they NOT STAND BEHIND their work, it is an sparse, uncomfortable environment. I'm 5'4" and if you are shorter, your head won't reach the sinks. Jolene later said they adjust, Trena said they did not adjust, but either way, no one bothered to adjust for me and they were both there during my fiasco. I will try to add a few photos. Price $200+ Stylist Trena Hair Master or Hair Wizard Ansari Yelp is not letting me add photos, but I will do so. I am sure they will write a review using character assassination. Trena basically told me I was lying, Jolene told me she'd refund my $200 and did not, and tried to claim it was an allergic reaction even though I've dyed my hair 40 years without ever having a reaction. They refused to take any responsibility. Not even an apology, though there was a check in by Jolene three weeks later. Note, I am a normal 59 year old, who has never written a review like this, a retired teacher, and I only want to keep others from being hurt. It's now four weeks later, and I still have three sores but mostly healed.

Hey Hello Hair! I…read moreabsolutely love this place. The ladies here are truly the best. I'm lucky to have Charla and Jessica taking care of my hair--my lifelong, deep red hair that I proudly say comes from my great-great-grandmother. It's that strong Indian red MC1R gene trait, and I don't take it lightly! I had hand and arm surgery in January 2026, and the girls even took care of my hair before my surgery. At that time, we were working through simple wash routines together because I couldn't wash my hair myself. They were so patient and helpful through all of it. By the time I needed my next move-up, I was ready to wash my own hair again, and they celebrated that progress with me. I truly love these ladies like I've known them for years. Everyone in the salon is so kind, fun, and genuinely caring--not just with me, but with every person who walks in. Going to my appointment at Hello Hair is something I always look forward to. At my most recent appointment, I specifically asked to focus on covering my grays, and she confirmed that we would make sure they were properly addressed. Unfortunately, the service did not fully resolve that concern. (And I paid over $300+) It was difficult to see in the salon lighting, but once I got home a few days later, I noticed quite a few grays still very visible. I reached out to let her know. Since I was in the process of moving, it wasn't feasible for me to come back in right away, but I was hoping we could discuss an alternative solution once I got settled or explore some form of help given I wouldn't have the time to come in right away. Instead, I was sent a link to purchase a gray touch-up stick from the salon. That response was disappointing and, in my opinion, not reflective of a professional resolution to a service concern. Clear consultation, and follow-through are essential in this industry, especially when it comes to gray coverage, which requires intention and attention to detail. If something cannot be fully achieved during an appointment, it should be communicated transparently with realistic expectations and options discussed in advance. I hope this feedback is taken as an opportunity to refine consultation practices and client care. Growth comes from listening and improving, not from becoming defensive, rude, or passive-aggressive. I truly wish her the best and hope she uses this as a learning experience. (And others find this useful if you're looking for gray coverage as part of your service) And btw(after reading the owners response): this was NOT a gray blending service, it was always very clear that I wanted my grays fully covered each time I came in.
