Just a little update... it has been over a month and my hair is still holding on to some of the lavender color. Following directions to use purple shampoo and conditioner has kept the brassy tones away. My fiance now also has dyed hair and we both love our looks. read more

I visited this Salon several months ago with my host daughter after Gene Juarez cancelled her appt for graduation. My host daughter had a keratin treatment in Italy wherd it fried het hair. Danicia is spacey and unfocused and does not care about her clients. I went to her twice, the first time she did not get the color right and she had to fix it, The second time she completely destroyed my hair. Overprocessed, broke strands, she was did very lazy and sloppy work and used cheap products and cut corners. I had to pay someone else $400 to fix what should have been just a retouch but she not only does not know how to do color she totally destroyed my hair, Please get your prescription changed because you are going to lose all your clients. Found this gem and was so pleased with my cut. She took the time to ask important questions about my day to day routine and hair goals. I had a blonde balayage and my ends needed a trim but she was able to go in and really get my hair looking healthy and fresh again. Great products and wash technique. Mia was a total star! For context, I got bored with my hair, tried to get it lighter on my own with Sally's supplies, messed up, kept dying it darker to get it back to normal, and when my regrowth happened ended up with three different colors in my hair, which looked stupid. I didn't have to take much time to explain and Mia got it then suggested blended foils to fix it without even having me show her pictures of what I maybe wanted, she just figured it out! And it worked perfectly, and my hair looks blended and beautiful and even under harsh lighting you can't tell my hair had three different colors going on. Didn't get hair cut because wasn't cut too long ago and I wanted to focus on the color, but from how she handled my color I am confident that the cut would have been just as perfect, because when styling my hair after washing it she knew how to part my very stubborn hair without me having to explain! 10/10 would do again. read more

I recently got eyelash extensions for the first time at La Tresse based on a recommendation. I was a little nervous as it was my first time receiving this service. When I entered the salon, I instantly received a warm greeting from the stylist near the front desk. Kilee, whom was doing my service, was very prompt for my appointment time. My service was two hours long but flew by. Kilee was super friendly and very personable. I absolutely love my lashes and will be coming back again! I came in last week's for a haircut and partial balayage with Tabetha. I am so, so, so happy with how it turned out. The cut is stylish but low maintenance, just like I needed. But the COLOR - the color is stunning. Strategically placed highlights make my entire face look brighter. Even my husband loves my hair! The salon is clean and comfortable, the music is fun but not overwhelming, Tabetha herself is extremely sweet and easy to talk to to, and every staff member passing through was positive and cheerful. She made my first time a great experience. She was friendly, outgoing, and sweet. She explained the process and asked each time you wanted a break. Being my first time there was so much I worried about such as, exposing myself, the pain tolerance, etc. but Kylee made sure it was an easy going less painful process she could. Went here using a Living Social deal and overall my hair looks good, even if it wasn't exactly what I wanted. Saw Mia and on my 3rd appointment got my hair partially foiled and cut (the first time I canceled, the second time she did). She talked a lot about her pregnancy and all things related which I think is a personal subject you probably shouldn't talk about with a stranger. I had to ask for a glass of water which most salons offer (small thing but kind of says a lot). Also she had a bang trim appt during my appointment which was a little uncomfortable. I do like how my hair color and cut turned out but will not be returning, the stylists seemed to be in their own world and less focused on their customers. read more

I've been going to Missy for 3 years now. I drive an hour each way just to see her. She is THAT good. I first came to Missy after box dying my hair -black-, attempting to cover my previous -bright red- color. Missy did a color correction which is no easy feat and I left with my hair in so much better shape. I get compliments on my hair daily, even when I'm due for an appointment, I still get compliments. Missy does an amazing balayage/ombre as well. I tend to try to keep my hair longer but Missy has cut off some length and the cuts always look so great.
