Then we started the process and I brought my own product so they can use it on my hair. The guy cut layers in my hair without asking me. then proceeded to cut front layers, taking off a good 6 inches of my hair. I had to stop myself from crying multiple times because even when confronted he didn't say anything. My hair was so short coming out, right below my chest. It was at my waist. I paid and left but I forgot my hair product. I go back in 10 minutes later and they're telling me they through it out and they claimed it the product was finished even thought I know for a fact it wasn't. He did not even tell me he through it out. My long hair was something that made me so confident and now it's all taken away. I'm never coming back here.

Not wanting to spend your standard $40-60 on such a simple procedure, my mom recommended I go to Le Salon. She went a few months ago to get her hair done for a wedding and loved the results at the beautiful price of...$25! The morning of my graduation party I already stubbornly made an appointment for a blowout at a different salon, but when my mom recommended this one, I dialed immediately. George, the owner, answered and he was very accommodating for my last minute needs. I walked in to the same salon I frequented years ago and everything looked the same (it was always a nice place, and it still is), except upstairs is a boutique (I didn't check it out so I can't comment on it, but it seems they have some nice handbags up there). After getting shampooed, Gladys did my hair. I told her my long list of hair problems and showed her a few pictures of blowouts in the past that I liked to give her an idea of what I wanted. She was friendly and maintained conversation with me the whole time. I felt like I got the most thorough hair analysis ever. She has an incredible eye for detail, works her brush and blowdryer magically, and gave me so many recommendations on hair treatment and upkeep I ended up making a list for myself to stay on track with my haircare maintenance. Like I preivously mentioned, my hair is a disaster. Because it's so thin, blowouts never look "full" enough. Not this time. My hair looked...luxurious. Seriously, I haven't seen body like that in years. I'd also like to point out that the salon wasn't busy at all when I was there and Gladys spent an entire hour with me talking, giving suggestions, and even doing a mini photo shoot! Great place, I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town and in need of a good hairdo.

The hairdresser herself was nice and we have a discussion at length about what I wanted. Firstly she cut my hair way to short and secondly the hair did not come anywhere close to where I wanted it. I think her skills were just not there or she seemed rushed because Inbetween she had other clients. In the end she charged me $300 which is fine because I'm aware the price is an estimate but they did see how long and thick my hair was. The place itself is clean but the parking is chaotic.
