I've been going here for years for haircuts and hair treatment and this is the first time I had a color done with them. She gave me suggestions on which style and color would be better and not just do what I want. She made my hair pop out with vibrant colors instead of just the 1 color I wanted. Unfortunately, my experience at this salon was very disappointing. I came in with a clear reference photo and explained exactly what I wanted (balayage and color). I was told they could achieve the same result. However, the final outcome was completely different from what we agreed on. The color was not the same, the style was uneven, and my hair ended up damaged. I paid almost $400 for this service, expecting professional results, but the quality did not match the price at all. At the very least, I would have appreciated honesty if the desired result was not achievable. I left feeling very unhappy with the service, and now my hair needs repair. I hope the salon takes this feedback seriously and improves their services. (By the way Amber Lopez is the one who dyed my hair.) read more

Unfortunately, this will be my first and last visit. Karl I believe was his name, was friendly, but seemed a little inexperienced. I came in for a haircut, and while the initial cut seemed okay, I noticed it wasn't quite right. The cut ended up blunt and uneven, and the overall service felt rushed, even though the salon wasn't busy. There wasn't much styling or attention to detail. After blow-drying, Karl took off the apron without showing me the final look. When he did handed me the mirror, I saw that the cut was choppy and needed blending. Instead of blending, he kept cutting with shears, which made me worry about losing more length. I paid and left, and unfortunately, this ended up being one of my least favorite haircut experiences. read more

Recently got my hair done by Paradise and honestly... it felt like the reset my hair desperately needed. My hair hasn't been touched in a while and I have thick Asian hair with a sensitive scalp. She did highlights on the top of my head, and the whole process didn't feel rushed at all -- we even finished faster than I expected. The salon setup is super welcoming. I was greeted right away by Janet and Gorgean, and their customer service was amazing from start to finish. The shop is organized, clean, and has such a warm, inviting vibe. Amber was working next to Paradise and she was a pleasure to chat with. She was doing a cut and styled blowout on another client, and the client looked incredible walking out. Overall, the atmosphere of the shop and the quality of everyone's work make me want to come back and get more done. Highly recommend! read more

The time I didn't regret a last minute booking. Booked Gorgean Wu the night before cause my hair needed some really good shampooing since I just took out my braids and the gel that my braider used was turning white and flaky. Gorgean went to town with my hair in a good way. When he shampooed my hair he did an amazing job and making sure my scalp is clean with all that gel crap I had on. Shampoo was an A+++++++ Haircut: he chopped off my split ends which I badly needed and gave me some amazing layers. After everything was said and done, he made my hair looked voluminous and he literally only used a brush and a dyson hair dryer. Gorgean has a lot of experience. When you used minimal tools but still get amazing results you're a talented person and know what you're doing. Thank you Gorgean for doing my hair to my liking. Tonight, I decided to book a last minute appointment with Debra for a haircut and blow out only. She was not only such a lovely lady who seems very knowledgeable about how to cut hair, but she was also able to give me the layers I wanted. The way she cut it made my hair flowy, bouncy, and a lot of volume. Not a lot of places seem to be able to give my thick hair volume. Debra did an amazing job creating it fore, making it so I look like I have more hair. The salon is also really clean, and spacious. The white interior and modern look makes it really comfortable for clients to relax and enjoy their time there. The prices are definitely worth it. read more

While the woman who cut my hair was really nice. I want to say that this haircut was the most unprofessional one I've received. The blow out she gave me after the haircut was a joke, I could not believe she was letting me walkout of the salon that way but it was late and we both clearly just wanted to get out. A week later, when I go to straighten my hair, my hair is so uneven, no flow to my haircut, one side is longer than the other. $95 for a haircut because my hair is long? Sure no problem. But please make sure your hair stylists know what they are doing. Her name starts with an A. I am a very selective person as anyone with hair should be, but the moment I entered the salon and spoke to Alisia I felt a very welcoming energy and felt that my nerves going to a different hair stylist faded away. You want to be able to go to someone you trust & where you can leave not only feeling your best, but also looking your best and based on my experiences that's what you'll find from Janet and her team at Hairology! I stumbled upon this salon via Yelp after my previous hairstylist moved away from the area and I wanted to stay more local for beauty treatments. So let's get down to the nitty gritty, shall we? Da deets. AMBIANCE: The salon is super modern, sleek, and clean! The atmosphere is very welcoming and the interior of the space is well-done and even their bathroom is super cute. They also take their time to make sure that the space is always clean, neat, and tidy. During each visit I do notice how attentive the stylists are to their stations (they sweep up promptly, move any tools that need to be cleaned to the proper stations, make sure it all gets properly disinfected, etc.). They also have little hooks where you can hang your bags and jackets (especially useful with all this rain we've been having). BOOKING APPOINTMENTS: I've never had a problem booking an appointment. I do this all online or via the app that their website directs you to. They do get booked up pretty fast, but cancellations do happen and Janet always lets me know that I can call or text her to see what's available and if it's even possible for me to get in. CUSTOMER SERVICE: My interaction with staff is usually limited to interacting with Janet, but I have to say that they've all been really kind & when you sit there for hours processing (I get my hair colored here) you do notice the high level of camaraderie they have with each other, how kind they are, and also how attentive they are to their client's needs. MY EXPERIENCE/EXTRA THOUGHTS: I've visited this salon to get my haircut, colored, and toned and every time I leave I feel like a brand new person with my hair fresh and my energy feeling super cute thanks to all the work Janet puts in to my hairdo! When I first started coming to Janet at Hairology over a year ago, I was really nervous about getting my balayage done because I was concerned about maintenance and choosing the right color for my skin-tone and my needs (aka I wanted to be low maintenance AF). She helped me choose the best color for me and I've been getting this color ever since. When choosing a hair color, they provide this giant book of different colors (Idk what this actually is called, but I'm sure if you got your hair done before you know what I'm talking about lol) and I was able to sift through that and see what works best for me. I also was able to ask any questions without the risk of feeling silly. I always felt heard and appreciated the honesty they provided for me so I could make the best decision for myself. During my balayage appointments, I'm also able to connect to their wifi so I can check on work emails or do some assignments - which is super convenient because processing can take time! So why not use it in your favor. Janet always made sure I wasn't thirsty or starving during this whole process and I will admit I've accepted the offer for some noodles and water & I'm always so grateful. I've had my hair done at other places before and I've never been offered noodles there, I usually used to sit there and stay hungry lol. I also really like the products that they use here. They always smell really nice - especially the shampoo and conditioner. It's eucalyptus and mint and honestly you can feel the tingle - it feels and smells fresh! Lastly, when I had a lot of breakage and damage in my hair Janet was able to recommend a product that she uses herself. You can choose to buy stuff from them, but I've never once felt forced to, which is always nice because sometimes you just don't have it in your budget but the free knowledge is A1. She also educated me on methods that might help my hair maintain a curl and so much more. PARKING: I've never had a problem finding parking when visiting Hairology. They have a parking lot where you can park your car. TLDR; Hairology has become my go-to salon for over a year now. It's super easy to make an appointment and super easy to find parking. Possibly the worst hair experience I've ever had. Denise took way too much off of the length, it kept tangling all the way through the cut, then she immediately became defensive saying, "You said it was ok." "Look at the floor," and, "we have cameras." From the lack of technique to horrible customer service during my haircut, I refused to let her do any color treatments and she way overcharged me in the end. Now my beautiful long hair is ruined and coming up with another $125 for a haircut is not easy these days. Do not make the same mistake I did. Go anywhere else! read more

I came in with super dry ends and an outgrown curly perm that I'd been needing to chop. She was super friendly and helpful with helping me decide on the length and cut I wanted. She started off by asking me what I wanted to do with my hair and how much I wanted to cut off. She then washed my hair and began to cut my hair. I was very pleased with my service from Roxanne. I just got a haircut, but it turned out great. She even offered to curl it for me, then I loved it even more. She was friendly, professional, and she talked just the right amount. The salon was nice inside and parking is very easy. The best part was both she and Janet had their kids in the back so my daughter was able to go play with them. I was so anxious about bringing her and it ended up being such a relief. The only downside was they raised their prices. When I made the appointment I was expecting to pay $65, but the price went up to $75. However, it came with childcare so it was worth it and I'll be back. read more
