It was $160-ish (I can't remember the price, but somewhere in that ballpark) if I wanted a balayage. I went with just a haircut. I went in wanting a butterfly cut. Mai consulted me on how she would cut it, and even though it was a bit shorter than what she said it would be, it was fine, as I wanted to go just below shoulder-length. I have waist-length hair that had been permed nearly 2 years earlier, so the bottom half of my hair kind of has a wavy/slightly curly texture, and the top of my hair was kind of flat and heavy. Now that I'm a Master's student while also working full-time, it was time for a more manageable hair length and style while pursuing my studies. My boyfriend said, "I love it!
