During my appointment, my stylist told me my hair was dry, not damaged or compromised. After the service, my hair was left noticeably drier, frizzier, and nowhere near as smooth or sleek as I had specifically requested. The appointment felt rushed, with very little attention to detail or care put into the final result. Considering what I paid, the quality of the service fell well below my expectations. I returned to the salon just five minutes after leaving because I was unhappy with the result and asked if my hair could be smoothed out further. While they attempted to fix it, my hair still looked dry and frizzy, and the issue wasn't resolved. I later called the salon twenty to explain my concerns, and they acknowledged that I wasn't satisfied with the outcome. They offered me a complimentary blowout to properly smooth my hair and address the excessive dryness, and they even scheduled me for the appointment. Instead of honoring what they promised, they canceled my appointment shortly before it was supposed to happen. Even worse, they texted me claiming that my hair was already "completely compromised" before I came in, that I had asked to have it bleached (which is completely false), and that another salon was responsible for my hair. None of those things were ever discussed during my appointment. When I corrected them and explained that I never requested bleach and that my stylist had only described my hair as dry (not damaged), they simply doubled down instead of taking responsibility. It felt like they rewrote the story to avoid standing behind their own work and the complimentary service they had already agreed to provide. I was disappointed with the way the salon handled the situation afterward. Instead of honoring their promise or having an honest conversation, they canceled my appointment and shifted the blame onto me with statements that were false and untrue. Their responses came across as gaslighting, dismissive, and condescending. I cannot recommend a business that responds to customer concerns in this rude, unprofessional manner.
