This is actually my 2nd visit and Lien definitely knows what she is doing. I'm the type of person that will usually stick to only one hair hairdresser/stylist whenever I needed to get a hair cut. My hair is long, but it isn't completely straight like most common Asian hair. My hair had gotten to the point where I really needed a trim to get rid of a lot of the split-ends, but I didn't have time to drive all the way into SF (where I use to live before moving to Hayward) just to visit my usual hairdresser/stylist. I contacted Lien via text and she was super responsive. I was also able to schedule an appointment with her the next day during the afternoon. Not only that, Lien is super nice and friendly! She listened to my concerns about my hair and made sure everything was to my liking before I left. Great person and great service. Lien is such a delight and is absolutely wonderful!!! First impressions are definitely telling of how a relationship or experience will go and needless to say, my first impression with Lien was warm and welcoming. Getting my hair done in the capacity that I did (ombre-balayage-trim) was major to me, especially with someone new. I trusted Lien whole-heartedly and gave it a chance. Before she worked her magic my hair was previously highlighted in certain areas and mostly covered with my natural hair color (black). Lien took her time, asked me questions, offered me magazines to browse through, made me feel comfortable, and did not complain at how much hair I have. After about 2 hours, the process was done and I was totally satisfied with the outcome!!! My dark hair became a nice gradient from dark roots to light tips. Overall, I was very happy and am thankful for Lien's talent and time. Even though I got my hair done on October 2 (sorry for the late post), my hair still looks and feels amazing. Love love love Lien!!!! The first time I went to her I wanted to have a drastic change. I decided to go blonde and I did the treatment with olaplex!! After the treatment it was amazing, my hair felt healthier than it did when I started. Lien is very patient with her clients and is very social. The first time I went to her she offered me coffee or tea, and since I was tired, she allowed me to sleep while she did my hair. I ended up buying the take home olaplex product from her which was very much needed. I swear it does miracles. The second time I got my hair done by her I wanted to go darker. She trimmed my hair and went darker with olaplex treatment as well. As well as a few other things she gives great advice and she lets you know she's always there if need be to ask questions. Lien is amazing! I have been to Lien twice now to get a balayage ombre, and both times I absolutely loved the job that Lien did. I receive so many compliments about my hair, and how great it continues to look after several weeks/months! I have Asian hair that can be difficult to work with, and Lien worked magic on my hair. My hair is also prone to brassiness, and with Lien there was NO brassiness or orange. She perfectly achieved the ash blonde color I had wanted.
