Shanghai Noodles with Beef Flavoured in Ho Sin Sauce

The food was delicious and the price was very decent. The dishes were also surprisingly very large. The service was incredible as well.

Noodles with chicken and beef very dry

Very bad experience, from the start. The Menu was a bunch of greasy black and white papers, with illegible list of everything Hakka. So we gave a try, as we ordered soup and noodles, because they did not have any fresh fish dish. The soup was heavy on sugar, and corn (the kitchen and veggies soup). Tasted horrible because of the sugar added. We asked for a vegetable soup, hoping there was no sugar in it. The veggie soup also had sugar in it. Cold and sweet soup. First plate we ordered Noodles with beef and chicken. The noodles were very dry, tasting like paper, when we asked why, the server said that they "don t serve wet noodles" was the explanation. The 3 sauces they placed on the table were very spicy, which gave my hubby an allergic reaction. Do not recommend!

Well pretty good food for the area. The fried rice was definitely my favorite. It was not spicy and distinct flavor that wasn't like Chinese fried rice. Sesame chicken was ok. The chili chicken momos didn't need the chili sauce. It probably tasted better plain. The ground chicken inside the dumpling has the same spices used for kebabs. The skin is deep fried and a little thick for my liking. The chili fish which was the same sauce as the chili chicken mom was good but wish the waiter told me it was the same sauce. Pretty much all the sauces are same flavor profile. Maybe the sesame chicken had more vinegar added. Worth trying Hakka cuisine.

Hakka Shrimp Noodles, desistyle. Spice level hot!

Food is amazing! Quick service, dashed in and out for takeout. Would've love to have sit and enjoy the restaurant, but maybe next time! It was very welcoming.

Beef, Chicken Chilli and Beef Hakka! Let's dig in! :D

Clifton Hill - Hakkalicious My family and I were looking for something to eat since we were walking, We stopped by this place. The first thing I noticed is that, the Interior is so, so pretty! We ordered the.. - Chicken Chilli. I completely understand why this is named chicken chilli. I enjoy how there's a kick everytime you taste it. (No, the food does not kick your mouth, it has spices, thats what I mean by kick.) - Beef Hakka. SOO GOOD! These noodles have a bright yellow color, and includes many varieties of vegetables. Would recommend if your hungry! - Beef? (Not sure what's it called.) Yum, Yum, Yum! These are really good with the gravy or rice. I would eat this all day.

What a pleasant surprise in the heart of touristy Niagara Falls! We are no strangers to Hakka food. This was good. Impressive for Niagara Falls, which lacks an ethnic food selection. Right across from our hotel room, or else we probably wouldn't have noticed this place. We ordered the dragon chicken, manchurian beef in gravy, chicken hakka noodles and two spring rolls. Prices were a bit high but I guess that's to be expected in Niagara Falls. (Example, the manchurian beef was $18 and had very little actual beef in it-- mostly gravy). But I did appreciate that both mains came with a side of rice. The service could have used a bit of work as well... The big table that arrived after us got served first. We weren't checked up on mid-meal, and I had to walk to the front table to ask for a take-out container and bill. This was probably due to a lack of staff (only two servers). Otherwise, a pleasant experience. Hope this location lasts!

Shockingly good. I was completely expecting mediocre tourist trap food. Instead we had amazing Hakka food that can compete with any other Hakka restaurants. Had the noodles, momos, cashew gravy and rice. Everything was really good! Recommended.

Stopped by for lunch. The food was okay, we ordered the Chilli Fish and 3 bowls of rice. Not used to that. One bowl of sticky rice is enough with our entree in the city. Ambiance was okay. Place felt a bit run down. Pricing and portion is higher than what we're used to in Toronto and Markham. Service was good. Our order took about 20 minutes to arrive.

    Chili momos :)

Food and service were great! We ordered chili momos and chili paneer with gravy and everything was on point. Server was also very nice. Great vegetarian options too! Highly recommend!

The delicious aroma hits you instantly when you walk in the door. The restaurant was empty when we arrived, but filled up very quickly. The menu is quite long, with many options for vegetarians. We were given water for our table. We made our choices and patiently waited. The momo dumplings arrived first. So flavorful! Then the hakka noodles and gravy hot garlic chicken came out at the same time. Both were delicious, and the chicken dish had a decent kick to it, but not as spicy as I expected. However, this place gets three stars from me, which is rare, but it is mainly due to poor customer service. The chicken dish is served with rice, but we weren't given any. I asked for rice and waited several minutes before having my husband ask, and he had to ask twice more before we were given some. Our water for the table was never refilled even though it was empty before our food arrived. As we were leaving, the hostess/waitress lady tried to walk past my daughter as she was putting on her coat instead of waiting for her to finish, and gave her a mean look when my daughter accidentally hit the tray, nearly spilling the dishes on it. Also, although the food was delicious, the portions are on the smaller side. Overall, great flavor to the food, but not-so-great customer service. If I visit again and crave hakka, I will try a different place.

The serving area, the tables, and even the bathrooms are pristine. The food quality and variety is great. They offer all the normal stuff you see at a Chinese buffet plus extras like Maple flavored meatballs and wings. The sushi section is a little smaller than others but gets the job done. The desert section is incredible and you will want seconds. Try the maple ice cream! We went here twice in the short week we were in town, and I were a local this spot would be on my regular rotation for sure.

Was provided a hot lemon infused cloth to clean up prior to going up to the stations to eat. Cup never emptied without an ask for refill. Very attentive the entire time. We were sat in the 'C' dining area area. There were room upon room so there's plenty of seating. Each room with a slightly different theme. Ours had a wall of beautiful fish tanks. The dining area, food stations and bathrooms were all very clean, which is so important at a buffet. They even have gloves at the end of each station in case you didn't want to touch the serving utensils with your bare hands. The variety of food goes from everything you can imagine at a Chinese buffet like sushi and fried rice to American options like burgers and fries, to surprises in-between like New England clam chowder and prime rib. Tons of dessert- hard ice cream, cakes, pies, fruit, jello, even Crème brûlée and waffles. One of my favorite surprises was the variety of mocktails. Most places offer me pop as a mocktail or a Shirley Temple at best. Decent pricing. Father's Day special dinner menu was $50/pp (Canadian) about $36/pp (American) which is pretty great for all you get and that's WITH their high tax. I believe the refular pricing is about $10/pp less. A must try only 30 minutes from Western NY.
