Walked in here yesterday for a takeout order. It was 8:00pm on a Saturday night and Pine Street was pretty deserted. I had a hard time trying to figure where to park, as the street sign said it was okay to park but only until 6:00pm. I settled for the one-way side street, but even that wasn't convenient. The place has a counter and what looks like is a dining room on the left, but that was closed and dark. Perhaps only available in the daytime? At any rate, I ordered the west and sour chicken combo and a quart of wonton soup. It took them 15 minutes to prepare it, and I was on my way. There was a bit of a communication issue when I ordered (they struggle with English) and I received chicken fried rice, instead of pork fried rice in my combo. Though, it was good but not much chicken in the rice. They give you lots of little pieces of great tasting deep fried chicken breast, but the whole combo ($7.85) isn't that big. However, the egg roll is huge and is pretty good tasting. They give you a good amount of sweet and sour sauce in a container too. The quart of wonton soup had tons of huge wonton noodles, perhaps too many! It tasted good, but I'm not a fan of the brownish colored noodle-- I like a white noodle! Overall the food was pretty good, I just don't like the location for the struggle with parking.

This place is great! The family that works here is amazing. This is the ONLY Chinese place in the city I will go to! Get a combination plate and feed three people!

The serving area, the tables, and even the bathrooms are pristine. The food quality and variety is great. They offer all the normal stuff you see at a Chinese buffet plus extras like Maple flavored meatballs and wings. The sushi section is a little smaller than others but gets the job done. The desert section is incredible and you will want seconds. Try the maple ice cream! We went here twice in the short week we were in town, and I were a local this spot would be on my regular rotation for sure.

Was provided a hot lemon infused cloth to clean up prior to going up to the stations to eat. Cup never emptied without an ask for refill. Very attentive the entire time. We were sat in the 'C' dining area area. There were room upon room so there's plenty of seating. Each room with a slightly different theme. Ours had a wall of beautiful fish tanks. The dining area, food stations and bathrooms were all very clean, which is so important at a buffet. They even have gloves at the end of each station in case you didn't want to touch the serving utensils with your bare hands. The variety of food goes from everything you can imagine at a Chinese buffet like sushi and fried rice to American options like burgers and fries, to surprises in-between like New England clam chowder and prime rib. Tons of dessert- hard ice cream, cakes, pies, fruit, jello, even Crème brûlée and waffles. One of my favorite surprises was the variety of mocktails. Most places offer me pop as a mocktail or a Shirley Temple at best. Decent pricing. Father's Day special dinner menu was $50/pp (Canadian) about $36/pp (American) which is pretty great for all you get and that's WITH their high tax. I believe the refular pricing is about $10/pp less. A must try only 30 minutes from Western NY.

I ordered the chicken wing and rice combo (specifically asked for only onion no pork or peas and carrots) as well as the beef lo mein. Unfortunately I wasn't able to fully try the combo, as once I got home/bnb my partner and I started to dig in only to realize there was pork in the rice. After coming to our senses we walk back to the restaurant with the chicken and rice. I explain to the woman what occurred and reminded her of my original order. She was understanding had a light bulb moment and returned to the back. Once the order was complete I checked the order at the counter only to see they made new rice but just returned the "cross contaminated" chicken back into the same order. I tried to explain to the gentleman how this is still an issue. He simply stated if I wanted the chicken to also be re made I would have to return the FULL order back. That's a totally understandable policy to stop people from returning food after they've already eaten a large portion. But unfortunately this policy just didn't apply to my case and the restaurant simply didn't care to correct their error and took the money. So basically I walked back home and accepted defeat. I was not walking back for a 3rd time with partially eaten chicken and bones to have the order that I paid for. The owners must think they run a 5 star Gordon Ramsey level establishment where their food is worth my time. I added photos of the wings we had eaten then tossed once we realized there was pork in the meal. I'm assuming they wanted the bones and bitten wings as proof that we definitely ate the wrong order? But they refused to remake the wings we definitely didn't eat and returned, unless we presented the contaminated ones. Im stuck wondering how they approach other allergy and food sensitivity patrons, which is what lead me to write this review.

The hours on Yelp are wrong, refer to their hours on Google (seemed to be only open for dinner on weekdays, perhaps their weekend hours are longer). I got here as soon as they opened at 5 for dinner and ordered a sesame chicken over white rice for dine in. FYI there's a 15% gratuity charge for dine in vs take out. They make each order fresh so there was a bit of wait for the food and they also had signs around that they were short staffed. There was only one staff member taking all the dine in and take out orders and waitressing the dine in area. I can't attest to their bubble teas but I think they just make it when ordered rather than batch make a lot of drinks. They also had soda, water and alcohol for sale. The sesame chicken came out piping hot and I could tell it was fried fresh. The sauce flavor had a very strong vinegar taste. It also came with 3 pieces of boiled broccoli and the rice tasted okay. I'm too used to eating jasmine white rice at home every day. All in all, it was a good amount of food for the price in this area and I left feeling very full with at least a cup of rice left in my bowl.

The place looks like a home that was converted into a restaurant with parking in the back but once you enter, you feel like you are going into one of your Auntie's places for an actual home cooked meal. And they did not disappoint! Each dish was made to order and took a short time but you could tell it was prepared by a chef with a lot of experience and care--just looking at how the veggies were chopped/diced you can see they put their energy into each dish. The flavors were really superb and not at all overpowering and one major bonus--nothing was over salted or over oily as you might think typical Chinese food can get. Our party of 4 loved every bite and finished all our dishes, no leftovers. As you can see in the photos, they make an excellent meal. Prices are also very affordable and competitive with anything near the touristy areas. So if you want a solid, great meal prepared by a true mom & pop kitchen that feels like a home cooked meal, you really gotta try them out. I asked them how business was in summer vs winter and they said it's tough when it's winter (less tourists) but they make it work. It's also nice and quiet/intimate so you can have an actual conversation with your group rather than try to talk over some loud music at a chain restaurant! ----TL;DR---- Pros: excellent Chinese cuisine at very affordable prices and great portions. Not too salty or oily. And super nice, friendly owners who provide great service and great food. Cons: not easy to walk to from the main strip but if you have a car it's an easy drive. Skip the touristy places and come here! Bottom Line: it was the best meal we had in Niagara Falls and everyone was full and satisfied. I'd definitely go back again.
