    Salt and Pepper Calamari

First time at this beautiful, high end, classy restaurant this past weekend. The decor is very beautiful. The front staff was friendly and prompt to seat us. Our waiter provided excellent service and recommended delicious options. The food was especially delicious, my husband who is very picky, loved everything he tried. I think the calamari has been the best calamari we have ever tasted and we have tasted A LOT of calamari. GET THE CALAMARI lol I highly recommend if you're looking for an overall good experience.

Second time to this location and the food is still really good. Went there on a Friday night and it gets progressively louder as the night goes on so be warned if you're trying to have deep convos there. They have a big cocktail and wine menu but we didn't get any alcohol last night. They have a good food menu selection too. We got the *dim sum platter - beautiful and tasty with 3-4 types *asparagus & lotus fruit - nicely flavored and crisp al dente texture *shrimp fried rice - the shrimp were a bit dry and over cooked but the rice was nicely flavored *honey grilled chilean sea bass- moist and perfectly cooked Steven, our server was great.

Bar serves some good cocktails, also there dim sum and Peking Duck are great. Upscale chinese dining in Miami.

By far the worst dining experience we've had at Hakkasan, especially on Mother's Day. I was excited they brought back brunch on sat and sun so I chose to celebrate Mother's Day here. The service was incredibly slow, and our waiter Juan Pablo was unfriendly and completely inattentive throughout the meal. He made Mother's Day brunch at Hakkasan a bad experience. The restaurant wasn't even half full, yet it took forever just to place our order, have dishes cleared, and get drink refills. On top of the poor service, the brunch menu has become extremely limited. They no longer offer the dim sum platters as pictured in the advertisement and many of our favorite dishes including the venison and pumpkin puffs are no longer on the menu. We loved bringing our parents here for dim sum and to celebrate special occasions, but after today, this will definitely be our last visit. What should have been a special Mother's Day celebration ended up being a huge disappointment.

Overall still a solid experience after having gone back to hakkassan after so many years ago. Ambience is always very fun and chic. It's more dark and modern. Food is very flavorful, it's not a super spicy Chinese like I usually like my Chinese food but it definitely has a lot of different textures and flavors. They do have a spicy hot oil but it is not as spicy as other establishments. My favorite dish from the appetizers is the chicken pan fried dumplings, so good! Usually my go to is kung pao chicken which is good and this time I tried their lobster dish which was very good! My only complaint is I wish kitchen would be more accommodating, we asked if they can remove lobster from the shell and they said no because of presentation. As much as presentation is amazing if it's a request it usually is honored when it comes to lobster or even slicing steak etc. But it's okay that's their policy so I understand. Overall it's a nice fun restaurant to go to if you're in Miami or staying at Fontainebleau!

Amazing service, food, and a beautiful restaurant what else can you ask for? We arrived promptly for our reservation and were seated right away. Our waiter Mac was knowledgeable and provided drink and meal recommendations. The food came out super quick and our plates were changed in between meals which I personally love. For dessert we had the mango custard which I could probably eat daily. The dim sum was a nice variety and all tasted great and the crispy almond prawns were probably my favorite sitting on a cucumber with a spicy mayo sauce.

I hit up Hakkasan every time I stay at Fontainebleau (which is every time I go to Miami Beach, so essentially every year). It's one of my favorite spots and I love the cuisine. Every bite is always delicious. I'd usually give 5 stars, but this time our waiter (Maurice?) was really off-putting. Food as mouthwatering as always, but a terrible server. Since our dinner, we've been using him as a punchline for any instance of bad customer service. The manager of Hakkasan was great, again, as were all the dishes. Only Maurice was lacking.

6/20/2025 Friday evening. The food was absolutely incredible--beautifully plated and bursting with flavor in every dish. It was definitely on the pricey side, with our bill for four totaling $2,500, but the quality and experience made it worth it. We had the meal below that is for 4 people. The SHOU $168 per person; 5 course meal. Dim sum platter Green salad with truffle sauce in plum dressing Pan-fried chicken dumpling with foie gras Appetizer Traditional roasted Peking duck Main Grilled honey Chilean sea bass Wok-fry prawn with pineapple sauce Black pepper beef tenderloin Szechuan style Sauteed diced chicken with dried chili Vegetable And Rice Stir-fry Assorted Mushroom with Yam Bean Yeung Chow Fried Rice with Shrimp & Beef Dessert Chef's choice of dessert

We celebrated our anniversary with dinner at Hakkasan at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, which happened to fall the day before Valentine's Day and on Friday the 13th. If you are superstitious, no need, it was all almost perfect! If you've never been to the Fontainebleau, it's an iconic, historic property with a glamorous past and a special place in entertainment history. Frank Sinatra was a regular there, and you can absolutely feel that old-school elegance the moment you arrive. The hotel is massive, the lobby is stunning, and valet can take a bit so plan to arrive at least 20 minutes early to comfortably get to the restaurant. Once we arrived at Hakkasan, we were seated quickly. The ambiance is beautiful and dramatic but refined, and immersive. The music was a bit louder than my personal preference but it didn't take away from the atmosphere, scenery, or service. Speaking of service, it was impeccable from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, they acknowledged our reservation and the reason for our visit(pre-valentines and anniversary). That attention to detail carried through the entire evening. Shortly after being seated, we were presented with a handwritten anniversary card from the restaurant. It was such a thoughtful touch and really set the tone for the rest of the night. Such an pleasant surprise. We chose the tasting experience. For parties of four or more, there's a larger family-style option, but for two guests the experience is a curated selection rather than an omakase-like four menu access option. It still comes at a flat per person rate. Even so, the chefs selection was outstanding and honestly, it was hard to choose a favorite dish they were all so good. Our meal began with a salad featuring cubed short rib that was unexpectedly and inexplicably delicious. It was paired with microgreens, beet shoots, and a very light dressing that was simple, elegant, and perfectly balanced. Next came the dim sum. One was shrimp topped with caviar, and the other a vegetarian truffle mixture that wasn't the most visually appealing but the flavor was extraordinary. We also had large, deep-fried shrimp topped with caviar, which were very good, though the dim sum truly stole the show. That truffle dim sum is likely one of my all time favorite dim sum items - YES THAT GOOD! The Peking duck arrived next, served with paper-thin flour wraps so delicate you could almost see through them. These weren't traditional rice wraps, and they were phenomenal. The duck was crispy and tender, accompanied by cucumber, onion, and sauce on the side. Assembling each bite was half the fun and every bite was delicious. We then moved on to the XO fried rice with shrimp and meat. The shrimp sat atop the rice in a brown onion sauce that was delicate and flavorful. However, the standout of this course was the sous-vide stir-fried pepper steak that was exceptional in every way. It was served in a crispy yellow "wisp" bowl that added a fantastic texture and visually perfect. Despite how incredible everything had been, the absolute star of the night was the stir-fried seabass with mushrooms. I can't overstate how amazing this dish was. The fish was light, flaky, and perfectly cooked; the sauce was balanced and refined; and the mushrooms added a beautiful earthy contrast. Truly unforgettable. Just when we thought the evening had come to an end, dessert arrived with another surprise anniversary message. Just another example of how attentive and thoughtful the staff was throughout our visit. And yes, the cocktails were excellent too, though I honestly can't remember exactly what I had, only that they were very, very good. If you're on a tight budget, this may not be the place for you. But if you're looking for something truly special and an experience, not just a meal, I highly recommend Hakkasan. Without question, we will be back.

This restaurant has a mysterious vibe with winding corridors, creepy electronic music, and semi-private seating. The service is from a professional team that works together. 20% is included so you don't forget. The food we had was very good. Peking duck, garlic filet, calamari and rice. Very good flavor, quality and presentation. Lots of vegans come heat due to many options. We did not go to bar but it looks cool.

Nice location tucked away inside the Fontainebleau hotel on Miami Beach. The ambiance is dark and cozy, great for couples and small groups. Steven (ph?) was our server, very knowledgeable about the menu and the specialties, gave us space yet was very attentive ensuring we always had water and occasionally checking in on our experience. The food was top notch, very tasty.. do not miss the Peking duck!

Can you eat at the bar? Update: there is seating at the bar. We had an amazing meal and experience at their neon blue bar.

Does Hakkasan have a corkage fee?

This is what is stated on their website: "To complement our wine list, there is a $30 corkage fee (per 750 ML) for two bottles and $70 for any additional bottle (per 750 ML)."

Without specialization, it seems like their dishes are just ok. Steam Wagyu Beef Bao: A lot of hype and this was kinda disappointing. It tasted like a regular meatball inside a Chinese bun. Nothing really to make it seem special like the wagyu name implied. Pork Belly Ramen: This is pretty solid for food court ramen. It's no Ippudo, but the broth is very rich and pork. I liked the mix of corn and cabbage as veggies. The pork belly didn't seem slow cooked or tender. It was more like grilled. So some parts of fat were a bit too chewy (whereas a slow cook would melt in your mouth).

It is a nice mix of dim lighting, concrete and wood. Service at the bar was great as well! Being on the lobby of one of the new South of Fifth condos, it has both outdoor & indoor spaces. I opted to sit at the inside bar. Drinkwise I enjoyed both their "Mango Heat" (tequila garnished with sweet mango and hot jalapeño) as well as their take on the sweeter Lychee martini, the "Dragon Pearl". The pours were generous and very well blended; as it were I didn't even get annoyed when some obnoxious New York finance bro looking type asked me to get a napkin as if I were a waiter. There was a little mix up with my main course, but they made it right. In the laws of unintended consequences, I had a homecooked curry at a friend's house the night prior. I mention in passing that I had curry chicken the night before, and the server brings me their curry chicken. I did send it back because I didn't feel like having the same dish two nights in a row. They didn't of bringing me a very tasty and well seasoned crunchy organic chicken that blended hint of sweet as well as tanginess from the cumin. Just as sweet was their banana flambee and associated flaming boozy reduction. I'd definitely recommend GAO for a nice night out; it is also a short jaunt from the ocean if you fancy a stroll.
