I was quite unimpressed with Novikov. First I made a reservation during their happy hour only to find out that the happy hour is only at the bar. If you order the same items at a table then you have to pay full price for them. My group tried a wide variety of dishes and nothing stood out. The sushi roll was unimpressive and didn't have any bold flavors. The fried boa bun was my favorite item that I ordered. The pork belly in the pork belly boa bun was tough and chewy. I was excited to try the duck but I also thought it was quite chewy. I thought the portion was quite small considering that my group ordered the whole duck. I think the duck at Hutong is much more tender and better value since the whole portion I got at Novikov is the size of the half at Hutong.

L-Green-Go wow just got that joke.

Fun nice at novikov! Food is always a winner here, it's on the higher end so do expect to pay those prices. They have a nice happy hour worth taking a look. Tonight they were celebrating 8 years and had quite a crowd, music, and some samples going around. Everyone seemed to be having a great time and the servers definitely had their hands full! They did a great job. Valet parking right outside.

Sean : bartender This review is late but I just want to highlight how amazing the service and food was. It's a Spot that everyone typically goes to for happy hour and it never disappoints

One of my favorite places in Miami because the food is spectacular. The prices are high but it's because of the quality food. The only issue we had was an extremely rude waitress, which is why we haven't gone back in a while. But hoping that's a one off because the food was really impressive with every bite.

Every time I'm in Miami, Novikov is a must. It's that rare spot that never misses from the vibe to the cocktails to the flawless dishes that remind you why this city's dining scene is next level. The atmosphere is sleek, energetic, and just the right amount of Miami glam. Whether you're sitting by the bar or at a table with the glowing city view, the experience feels special every single time. The sushi is consistently top-tier! ultra-fresh fish, perfectly balanced flavors, and presentation that looks straight out of a magazine.

Just had their Sunday brunch and it was absolutely amazing. The food is super fresh and the sushi is top notch. The service is very professional yet friendly. For Sunday brunch they have a live DJ which really boosts the ambiance. If you haven't come yet, or if you haven't been to their Sunday brunch I highly recommend. You can't beat it.

Good food, ambiance was good. Server was awesome! Definitely recommend. I got the duck fried rice and it was good. Not much else to say

Gorgeous Resturant with a lovely view from outside. Nicole was fantastic with recommendations and efficiency on service. The food flavor profiles were excellent and the portions are just enough. The kitchen/chefs take their time with it and plate it gorgeously. Thank you for a lovely experience!

Here's a clean, natural review you can use or slightly tweak depending on the platform: I went to Novikov for lunch during work in January and had such a great experience that I had to leave a review. They were running their Duck menu, and everything we tried was outstanding. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the menu, which made the experience even better despite it being a quick workday lunch. We ordered the duck soup and the Peking duck fried rice, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich, well balanced, and clearly made with care. The duck was perfectly cooked and incredibly satisfying. It was the perfect lunch spot when you want something elevated but still efficient during the workday. Highly recommend checking out their Duck menu if you get the chance.

Very trendy vibe with a central seafood station that showcases the fresh seafood. Service was friendly and provided some food suggestions. I was pleasantly surprised. By the food here and left pretty happy about our meal. We did a mix of the roasted duck with crepes (very tasty), some sushi, grilled cod and dumplings. The menu is pretty overwhelming since it has a few different sections - you get can pulled in different directions, but if you come in a group you could share and be happy. Not a cheap place (it's Miami) but it really hit the spot and was close to the hotels.

Wednesday night ladies night was great! Live DJ with super chill vibes. Had the agave picante which I loved. Their espresso martini and wasabi martini were pretty good too Then the star of the show (for me) was the money bags shrimp dim sum 100/10. Delicious! Hamachi carpaccio also good and the crispy duck bun pao. For entree I went with the whole fried snapper. I just can't put into works how good everything was. Including the friendliest server (can't remember his name). I will 100% be back!

Stopped by here quickly and I know I will have to return to try their full menu. I came for ladies night and it was surprisingly a mixed crowd by the bar, very lively and the service was good. Our bartender was quite friendly and attentive! Tried the lychee martini and really enjoyed the balanced flavors, not too sweet. I have always heard good things, the other cocktails available looked great, I will definitely try the happy hour menu next time which even includes peking duck bao buns in it. Highly recommend for a quick drink if you're looking for good vibes, a good happy hour with food, and quality cocktails in downtown Miami.

What is the difference between the signature and premium brunch?

Much better options for both food and drink packages. It's essentially an upgrade

    Is it kid friendly?

I would not bring kids however you could.....I did not see kids there b/c it's more of a sexy date....or out with the girls or men type of restaurant. Earlier in the day would be fine for kids.

Do they offer a tasting menu like zuma does?

No they don't! Their food is really good and less expensive than Zuma, plus they offer tasty Chinese food too.

They had a duck confit special tonight that was so delicious, it came with a gravy, poached pears and mushrooms. My favorite dish was their foie gras , definitely a rich dish but is paired with some balsamic reductions and various jellies to cut on the richness of the fat. The anchovies were just the right amount of salty and fatty and paired well with the breads. The music was a vibe crossing genres and decades. Don't get me wrong, they are still excellent, but this is more of a 4.4 than a true 5 star. For me Zuma had a pleasant ambiance, lots of beautiful people, great outdoor seating to watch the yachts go by. So if that's what you are looking for, this is a good place to stop in. Also I give them points for not rushing you even though in their policy there is a seating time limit. We ended up just ordering the premium omakase, and that was quite a bit of food. I am glad I didn't order extras like I usually like to do at an Omakase. While the food in general is good and enjoyable, there was nothing very memorable, other than their Lava cake. That was to die for! And I skips dessert 99% of the time. Service was good but not stellar, could be because they had wait staff in training (during table service, our server didn't really know how to properly shave a truffle and another staff had to take over. Our courses are mumbled, doesn't sound like our server was confident about what the food is)
