This restaurant was outstanding! I can here with a friend for Miami Spice - every single dish was so flavorful and fresh, I practically licked each plate clean. From appetizer to dessert, spectacular meal. The drink was interesting and unique - I may select something different next time but overall, fantastic meal and would not hesitate to go back! The ambiance is nice, with great music and dimmed lighting - attentive service and friendly staff!

Came in for happy hour and I was thoroughly impressed. The vibe is dimly lit red and black with paper lanterns floating from ceilings. The food is spectacular. Michelin rated. I really enjoyed their mushroom dumplings and crab rangoons. Party in your mouth. A must try is their Henessey Honey chicken. Presentation alone is spectacular. Tastes great too. I definitely recommend this spot. Can't wait to return.

Went in for their Miami spice menu and omg it did not disappoint. For the apps would definitely recommend the char siu ribs. The crab Rangoon and shrimp didn't hit as good as the ribs. The orange chicken as the main was also delicious and came with a presentation. The waitresses and hosts were also very friendly and elevated the dining experience, loved their vibe. We also enjoyed the cocktails so don't skip out on drinks! The dimly lit atmosphere is perfect for date night or dinner with friends. Didn't manage to get a picture but we also ordered the pana cota and the ice cream sandwich. Would definitely recommend the pana cota omg. I'd also recommend making a reservation as it was packed and this makes it easier to get a table.

Visited Double Luck for the Miami Spice. Ambiance was very intimate. Good music , nice little bar and dimmed lighting. Service was amazing. Staff , servers were very kind and attentive. Everyone received free wanton chips with sweet and sour sauce. Started off with the Walnut Shrimp which was very flavorful & shrimp cooked to perfection. The crab Rangoon i was a bit confused because we received to empanadas stuffed with crab filling. It was good but was expecting what I've seen in all the photos and food reviews. The Hennessy chicken was delicious, crunchy and juicy. Perfect pairing with the white rice. The presentation was also 10-10. The tea smoked duck buns were also a hit with their cucumber salad which i could eat alone with a bowl of rice lol. The dessert i could have done without to be honest. Just my opinion. Wasn't my favorite. Definitely a must visit. I will come again to try out r their full menu.

I was excited to try this restaurant since they recently earned a Michellin star, but I left wondering how they even got it.... I did the Miami Spice menu with my husband so we tried almost everything The favs were the Char Siu ribs and the Walnut shrimp but not enough to come back for them. The drinks were really good 9/10 - maybe the only reason to visit the place. the Hennessy chicken, the mushroom dumpling and the desserts were the most disappointing items - specially the desserts. Also, it was very hot that day, maybe the had an issue with the A/C but it affected the overall ambiance unfortunately. The service was good.

I had been looking forward to trying double luck, but luck was not on my side tonight. The food was overly greasy, fried and not impressive in the least bit. The duck salad was basically a bunch of cilantro stem's with minuscule peices of meat. The crab ragoon was overhyped, the eggplant was overly fried and thickly breaded. I even brought the spicy noodles home for my boyfriend and he took one bite and said the flavor was off. I added a 3rd star because the service was great, but the food was not

Pretty good! Cute little place and good service. Let's get into food: - wagyu salad was really great, actually my favorite appetizer that we ordered - walnut shrimp was also really good and glad we last minute ordered it - tempura eggplant was alright. I think I was expecting to like it a little more. Not bad but I wouldn't order again - long beans were great - orange chicken was delicious - mapo tofu was good, not my favorite mapo tofu I've ever had but still good, - crab fried rice I like but I think it was a bit too sweet or maybe missing something for me - Szechuan noodles was my least favorite dish we ordered, and not because it was spicy but because it was really heavy. The peanut sauce was pretty thick and I thought it needed more. I ended up swizzling a like on it that made it better for me but still it just didn't sit well for me

I have been craving Chinese food and remember hearing about Double Luck. From what I heard, it originally started as a pop-up at the former Schnitzel House German restaurant on the 79th Street Causeway. Stopping by for dinner yesterday, I saw that it has been repainted from the white façade. That was the original restaurant to proper signage. Stepping inside, the space has the classic red lanterns, Chinese movie posters, and even the background music has Chinese language covers of old pop Classics. I was able to get a seat at the bar, where I ordered both their Hennessy orange chicken as well as the bacon and egg fried rice. The bartender wasn't kidding when he said that the orders were huge. Service was attentive, even though I came last minute and the food was brought out in a timely fashion. The bacon, egg, fried rice, served with a runny egg on top, was both flavorful and nicely presented. It can be enjoyed by itself; as it were, I have leftover for lunch & dinner. The orange chicken was nicely presented with a Hennessy flambée ("fire, fire, fire") and very tasty. It's prepared with sour orange oranges that give the chicken pieces a great taste will combined with the cognac. I passed on drinks and dessert, which is why I'm keeping it at four stars, but I will definitely come back another time.

We went to Tam Tam recently and OMG we loved the experience, and we love any type of Asian food and we knew we had to try the Double Luck Chinese pop-up (from the same family of restaurants/owner as Tam Tam). We made a reservation via Resy a few days before the weekend and didn't have any issue getting our desired date and time. We parked behind the Double Luck restaurant, where they have a big open parking lot for the restaurant with free parking. We arrived at our reservation time and were greeted warmly by restaurant staff and were shown to our table. We were then greeted a few minutes later by our server and were provided our menu and she came by a few minutes later to answer any questions we had. We ordered a bottle of wine to start (they started around $60 per bottle) and they had a good variety. For food, we ordered the following: -Char Siu Ribs ($18) - OMG so amazing and flavorful! -Long Beans ($13) - very fresh and large portion -Crab Fried Rice ($24) - large portion and very fresh and flavorful! -Hennessy Orange Chicken ($25) - an ABSOLUTE MUST! Amazing presentation and one of the most unique Chinese dishes I've ever had! -Tea Smoked Duck Buns ($65) - large portion and the duck was cooked to perfection and something I could have imagined having at a Michelin starred restaurant! -Oolong Tea Panna Cotta ($15) - very light and fresh, and presentation was exquisite! From the time we arrived to departing, everything was done to perfection - service was amazing and so was the food! We can't wait to come back and recommend it to anyone in Miami that enjoys Chinese food!

It's taken me months to come here because I was thrown off by the prices. These are dishes I'm used to paying significantly less for growing up in the 626. I love orange chicken but $25?? Anyways, I tried it. I hate to say it, I'm not mad at it. I still think some of the prices are ridiculous. And I don't understand why it was brought out as course food since why am I have a plate of veges separately from my rice? Why was my rice not brought out with the rest of my dishes? WHAT I ATE: - Hennessy orange chicken - this was not the orange chicken I was expecting. It was more salty than sweet our sour. It tasted like the chicken had been brined in salt? Not sure. I did like the flambee action that made it extra crispy - long beans: I would skip. The deescription of sweet black bean sauce was nowhere to be found nor was the spicy or sweet description the menu offered - crab fried rice: I appreciate the lumps of crab. Another review said it was too fishy, and that's why I liked it. I want my rice to taste like crab and the ocean. - Mapo tofu: the most authentic dish of the night I appreciate them playing old canto songs. The interior is cute.

Double Luck is a charming little spot with thoughtful decor and a cozy feel but be prepared for very tight seating. Tables are placed so closely together that the diners next to us were less than an arm's length away. While the space is undeniably cute, the lack of privacy made the atmosphere feel more bustling than intimate. As for the food, it was overall a solid experience. My partner ordered the duck and absolutely loved it. I don't eat meat, so I opted for the fried eggplant, which I really enjoyed (though it wasn't her favorite). I tried one of the lotus buns that came with the duck, and made my own vegetarian version and absolutely loved it. For appetizers, we ordered the cabbage dish, which didn't work for me at all, but my partner liked it. We also shared the vegetarian spicy Sichuan noodles. They were good, nicely spiced and flavorful, but not particularly memorable. Shoutout to our server, Daniel, who was excellent, friendly, attentive, and on top of everything throughout the meal. All in all, I'd come back to try more of the menu. Just know going in that the space is more about buzz and energy than a quiet, intimate dining experience.

What a great find! I came here for dinner on a Wednesday night. We sat at the bar. The bartender, Stefani, was amazing! So professional, knowledgeable, friendly, attentive... you couldn't ask for a better wait person! The ambiance is great. They were playing popular songs from the 80's, but all sung in Cantonese! Stefani recommended their frozen drinks. They were delicious!!! We especially enjoyed the passion fruit and gin one. I also had nice Sauvignon blanc. We were given some yummy fried wonton chips to snack on while waited for our dinner. We ordered the crab Rangoon as an appetizer. It comes with 4 large Rangoon. They were delicious. The biggest Rangoon I've ever had. For dinner I ordered the Hennessy Orange Chicken, since I saw it so highly recommended in reviews. It did not disappoint! The chicken was cooked to perfection! Not too much breading, as a lot of places do to their fried chicken. And the flavors were wonderful. My niece ordered the spicy Szechuan beef noodles. It definitely has a kick to it. The beef was super tender! The sauce was really tasty. We really enjoyed everything! Afterwards we tried the rice pudding. I'm not usually a fan of rice pudding, but this was SO yummy! It had a crispy sesame seed and rice crisps on top. SO GOOD! The portions are pretty big, so we had lots of leftovers. Prices are also very reasonable. Even the restrooms are cool! They have Chinese vinyl records on the walls and in one of them there's a small TV playing Chinese movies. I will definitely be back soon with my family and friends!

The special lomein had pork, chicken and shrimp and it was very good. It also came with white rice, which was had no seasoning, but that was expected. I ordered the shui mai, which was good but lacked in filling. Also ordered the shrimp cheung fun or ha cheung (shrimp noodle roll) and it was impossible to eat. The way that it was rolled and sealed made it so the roll fell a piece in parts and it was difficult to eat. Full disclosure, perhaps it was the mode as delivery that compromised the quality. The customer service wasn't great. It felt inattentive and unwelcoming, which immediately set the tone for the meal. We ordered two servings of crab rangoon, and I was honestly shocked at both the price and the quality. To put it simply it was the worst crab rangoon I've ever had. They tasted like they were deep-fried in old oil, with that heavy, stale aftertaste. They didn't seem fresh at all more like something pulled from a freezer and quickly dropped into the fryer. When I opened them up, there was barely any filling besides cream cheese. I couldn't find any actual crab inside, which was really disappointing, especially considering how much they charged for them. I was genuinely sad about how much money we spent on those two orders, only to be completely let down. I love supporting unique, themed spots and the anime vibe really had potential but unfortunately, the food quality and service just didn't meet expectations. I hope they improve because the concept itself is cute.

My go to for take out really delivers. This Chinese…read morerestaurant is near my home and I frequently see it, but had never tried it until I noticed that the place I usually go for Chinese food was not on any of my delivery apps. Consequently, when I decided it was a night for takeout and eating in front of the television, I figured why not. Canton Lee has a nice menu with all of the usual Chinese American choices. They have both lunch and combination dinner specials, which are very reasonably priced. But what really struck me was did they list all of my favorite dishes for takeout and they are well priced as well. My mother, a blessed memory, and still the love of Chinese food and me, and she would never start a meal without three distinct things. Wonton soup, spareribs (on the bone, of course), and egg roll. I ordered these items and they're not just tasted great but they were so good thst they even were able to bring back. Great memories (Sidenote: Dad loved pork strips and yatke mein soup which I rarely find these days.). Moving onto the main dishes, I ordered the Dragon and Phoenix, which is a mixture of sautéed shrimp and orange chicken. Their iteration is not spicy like I prefer, but it's really good. I love that. The chicken is still crispy even for takeout and is always nice, moist chicken breast. Maybe next time I will ask if they make it spicy. The second Dish that I ordered is Assorted Wonton which is beef, chicken and shrimp. Sautéed in a garlic sauce with pork wontons. The vegetables mixed in are extremely fresh and the sauce is delicious. I like this dish a lot although the wontons are these flat things that are a little bit strange to me and I would prefer the more robust ones I have had at other restaurants. The young chow fried rice is a huge hit for me as it is not only delicious but a huge quantity is packed into the container. Mixed into the rice, our combination of meat, chicken, and seafood, making this a perfect side dish or even main dish. There are many things in the menu I'd like to try but have not gotten around to yet. Regrettably I forgot to take pictures, but will add them at some point. I cannot comment on the ambience. as I have not been to the restaurant. What I can say, however is the both times that I have ordered the food was delivered quicker than expected. It arrives hot. Perhaps the only complaint that I have and it is not a very big one is that when I do the takeout order I check off the box to include utensils and plates, but neither time were they included. Again, not a big deal, but they should not offer that if they're not going to do it. So overall, I'm rating this specifically as a takeout restaurant as this is the only experience I have with them and as far as that goes, they are at the top of my list.

My wife is a fan of honey chicken, and the reviews that I read online spoke highly of it. This dish did not disappoint at all. Lightly breaded unlike so many Chinese restaurants where you have to dig for the chicken through a very starchy coating. This was delicious moist chicken breast with a light and tasty breading. The honey sauce was in a separate container, which was nice as the food arrived. Still crispy and delicious. We all enjoyed this dish immensely. The second dish we ordered was called Four Seasons, presumably for the four proteins which were chicken, pork, shrimp, and beef. The shrimp was described as Jumbo shrimp but calling them jumbo would be a stretch and the fact that they were difficult to even find in the dish as I think there were only two or three total. The beef and chicken were cooked reasonably, but the pork must've been cooked a while before the dish and was so tough and difficult to chew that I gave up and threw it out. The vegetables were overcut as well and were soggy and essentially tasteless. Exact opposite of the honey chicken this is a dish that I could never recommend. Lastly was the shrimp fried rice. There were a fair amount of shrimp although they didn't seem to be well distributed to the rice and all seem to be near the top of the container. That may have been coincidence. The rice itself was a bit salty otherwise had virtually no flavor. It was very disappointing. Overall, the delivery was quick and the honey chicken was superb. The rest of the meal was not memorable and there are too many places with better overall food for me too risk another disappointment by ordering from there again. Although I might just order some honey chicken and skip the rest.
