Was it a mistake to order their spiciest wings on my first visit? Would the price I paid for the combo meal justify the quantity and my satisfaction with it? Do the patrons REALLY watch those music videos? Well, it's definitely all about the chicken here. That first bite of a boneless wing with the Spicy Galbi was indeed a taste-bud-awakener, but after that it was all flavor and the right level of crispness. I definitely wanted more. The fries were interesting. They were nicely crisp, and they were lightly covered with some kind of coating that was both subtly spicy and subtly sweet. They were certainly fine, but I'll explore other sides on future visits like the cole slaw and the pickled radishes. The price for a combo, $13.99 plus tax and tip extra... well ... since I'm really here for the chicken, maybe next time I'll just order a big batch of wings and do something else instead of (the starchy) sides. Those music videos... today they were all from a K-pop girl group known as aespa, evidently quite successful internationally. Clearly I am not their target audience. But as background music, it was pleasant enough. Since it's roughly 15 minutes from my house to here, ordering in advance seems like the way to go. It is indeed worth it for the chicken.

I'm sure there's an Albany location for this Korean fried chicken chain and I remember being put…read moreoff when I first looked it up a few years ago, although I'm not sure by what. The fried chicken with their "secret sauce" is one of the better versions of what I consider to be authentic, so my rating is based mostly on this. Things that would've made for a 5- star experience relate to the ultimate Korean fried chicken and pizza joint in the Atlanta region, where they play a Korean TV show on mute (or music videos, although I almost never watch them with intention) and have utensils and crockery that at least remotely make you feel like you're dining out if you decide to eat in like we did.. For example, bb.q only had plastic forks and not even a paper plate. And regrettably like many Korean fried chicken joints in the U.S., they charge separately for sides such as pickled radish. Speaking of which, they charge $0.95 for a little cup of radish and most of the mass was liquid, forcing me to ration even though we ordered two of them. Moreover, one of the radish cups clearly had been sitting out and they still served it, as I overheard the front staff say to the kitchen staff, "I need two radish.. actually, only one, there's one sitting out here already, I'm not gonna waste that." Anyone who knows and appreciates the crunch of the radish that complements Korean fried chicken will understand how this affects the radish and the diminished enjoyment. On a positive note, the chicken was tender and the sauce, although not one of the best I've had of its kind, was more like the authentic sticky and sweet 'yang nyoem' that I've come to love. There was an unidentifiable note to the flavour of the sauce that I didn't like but it didn't detract completely from enjoyment. If there was a half star rating I would consider 3.5 stars. Then again, I'm glad there's a decent Korean fried chicken joint in our neck of the woods away from big cities, and I wouldn't mind going back. I hope they continue to improve.

Alright... The BEAST has spoken. Let's break this one down honestly. Yesterday for lunch I grab a…read moreslice of 2 Coming in hot with a 3.5-star rating, this spot almost hits that elite tier--but there are a few things holding it back from greatness. First off, presentation and crust game? Solid. You're getting a good bake, decent structure, and slices that hold their own. Not floppy, not overly stiff right in that respectable middle lane. That's a win. Now let's talk about the sauce... because this is where things get mixed. Taking a look at some of the chatter on Yelp, there's a noticeable trend and I've got to agree. The sauce is inconsistent. Some bites hit with a nice tang and balance, but others feel either a little too sweet or lacking depth. It doesn't always punch through the cheese like you want it to. For a place trying to compete in the pizza game, sauce consistency is everything--and right now, it's just not elite. Cheese and toppings are good--not mind-blowing, but definitely respectable. No complaints there. Quality is there, just not standout.

I liked the menu &…read morereviews, and It was located in small strip of businesses on Guideboard Road near the Halfmoon Diner and Sorrentinos Deli. It was easy to place an online order. It is an open Kitchen mostly takeout place with several booths/tables for dine in, if wanted. Ordered for pickup: Chicken Bihari Boti, six pieces Lamb Curry with Rice The chicken was very tender and delicious. A small salad was included. I would order this dish again even though the menu has many enticing items. The Lamb Curry included a tasty, flavorful white rice that complemented the curry well. The owner included extra sauces including a Mint-Yogurt one that was delicious. I should have ordered one of the many varieties of Naan, and next time I will. Check out their menu. The owner greeted you with a smile. Two others prepared the food. While another customer (Gyros) and I waited for our orders at 11:30 am (I arrived early), the owner served us a sample of their Kheer after asking us if we had a milk allergy. This traditional Indian Rice dessert was far superior in flavor and texture to what I have eaten at other local restaurants that serve it. (Kheer is a creamy, traditional dessert made by simmering rice with whole milk, sugar, and aromatics like cardamom and saffron.) The owner even included a complimentary serving of Kheer with my order. Nice! They thank you for your order when you leave. The restaurant was pristine including the recently washed windows. Parking is plentiful. I want to order food from here for my family who likes this cuisine.

Delicious food in an unassuming strip mall in Clifton Park…read more I met a friend here on a weekend night and they had four huge booths. We were the only ones dining in, which we didn't mind at all. We ordered at the counter and they brought the food to our table. We chose to share the Shrimp Curry, Chicken Tandoori, hummus and garlic naan. They brought the hummus out first, which came in a plastic container with a lid. It looked really liquidy but after stiring it with a spoon, it thickened up. The flavor was fantastic! The pita they served with it was warm too. They brought all of the entrees out together and a few minutes later, one of the employees came by with the Haleem Chicken, which he said was a new menu item that he wanted us to try on the house. It was stewed chicken with lentils and spices. Everything was absolutely delicious and had such great flavor. We couldn't pick a favorite. They served the dishes with their hot sauce and a yogurt sauce. Both were delicious too. Overall, while it seems most people pick up take out, dining in was a nice experience too. Highly recommend!
