Very short wait for chicken over rice and halal fries. The fries were really good doused in white sauce. I wish there were seats for us to sit and eat; that was the downside. The chicken with the rice had a little kick to it. For those 2 things it was $28.

Good flavor profile for a hungry late night eats. Chicken in our experience was juicy with spicy white sauce which was good. But the chicken nugget was mediocre.

I was super excited to see that they opened up a Halal Bros Grill on Utica Avenue. I finally decided to give them a try after a long day at the museum with my son. When I got in I mentioned to the guy that this was my first time there, what would you recommend and he recommended I get the Jerk Chicken over Rice with their spicy white and spicy dragon sauce with a side salad, and it did not disappoint. I washed it down with a Calypso Paradise Punch Lemonade, and I was indeed a happy camper. The ambience of the place was nice and clean and keep in mind there is no place for you to sit down to eat just to order your food and go :) The staff was awesome and prepared my food with ease. I definitely recommend this place if you haven't tried them yet and I will definitely be returning to try other dishes on their menu. Happy eating :)

Kept seeing this place on tik tok so we finally gave it a try. They were already out of mac and cheese at 2pm which was disappointing. Got the jerk chicken over rice and the jerk chicken quesadilla. Quesadilla barely had cheese in it but a lot of chicken. It fell apart pretty easily. Jerk sauce was pretty bland. Jerk chicken was good but I definitely prefer my Caribbean spots. Restaurant is very clean, quick service. No tables to dine in.

    A lot of food

The service was great they were quick and efficient . I ordered fries with bbq sauce on top with steak bites and fries and tenders on the side. Very great pricing for a great variety of food .

Ok this my second time coming here and it was pretty good. I had the chicken over rice with salad. I'm not too big on salad ( I only like Iceberg). Food was pretty good. Service was nice and fast because I was at lunch. I will definitely go again.

I came here to get food for my son, I already know what he likes I got him the chick and lamb over rice combo with extra white sauce. Fast service store was empty so I didn't have to wait long. I wanted to get myself something but they didn't have any menus only the menu in on the wall high up I can't see because I didn't have on my contacts so I just picked up food for my son which he enjoyed greatly

I asked if there was any way to fix this, and right away, the hostess brought us to another table with a much better view of that magnificent manhattan skyline and river. Then the food. Omg the food. We each ordered our main, after which they bring out an enormous tray of all these lovely nibble salads, pickles, dips, and pita. I don't eat wheat, and haven't my entire life, so I usually don't say anything about it if it seems to me the place doesn't cater to that sort of restriction. The server noticed however, and offered sliced cucumbers for the dips. Such a lovely detail, brava. Did I mention how deeeeeeeelicious everything was? Hubby had the steak shishlika which was perfectly tender and charred at once. I had the chicken shishlika which was good, but not the wow of the steak. Each and every salad, dip, pickle etc was perfectly spiced, cooked, presented. The nuances were just right. Nothing too precious or sideways. Just honest, well built yummy food. And the fries. You MUST get the fries. We ordered the tahini ranch along with the tahini catsup. In my opinion, that wasn't necessary. But if you're a ranch lover, go for it. Then the dessert! Soft serve with a cherry reduction and some kind of flourless chocolate brownie... I don't need to say more. The service was excellent. The food delicious. The view was perfect, though no one celebrated the sun going down like I was told they do. We will go back, with four or more so we can finish all the food. We left way too much behind since we were heading out after and not home. Lesson learned: laser wolf is a great celebration/date night venue for all the right reasons. But go with a larger party, not just two.

Founding chef is a James Beard awardee. Wonderful literary references aside, I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The assortment of unlimited salatim, Hebrew for salad, was enjoyable and easily filed me without the guilt of overeating. And the view of the Manhattan skyline from the restaurant is just splendid. And one caveat, this Israeli meal is my small reminder that we should never judge or be judged by the actions of governments or political leaders. Humanity is always bigger than politics. Hatred becomes dangerous when we stop seeing people as individuals and start judging entire groups. History has shown us where that can lead. The restaurant is spacious with a vibrant, lively atmosphere. One thing that immediately stood out was the music. For a Middle Eastern restaurant, the playlist was refreshingly diverse. We heard everything from hip-hop and salsa to world music, and it really added to the vibe. Our server, Omar, was EXCELLENT! If you can, ask to sit in his section. He was warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and absolutely wonderful throughout our meal. We started with the very popular short rib hummus and homemade pita, and it definitely lived up to the hype. Very, very good! Everything tasted incredibly fresh, especially the hummus and bread, which are made in-house. We also tried another pita topped with spices, which was a little more sophisticated and absolutely worth ordering. For brunch, we tried the Lebanese omelette, which was a little bland for my taste, but the fig toast was a MUST! Definitely one of the standouts of the meal. The chicken shawarma was also very good. For drinks, we tried the Strawberry & Na'a along with one of their bourbon-based cocktails and enjoyed both. Overall, Boutros was such a pleasant surprise. Great atmosphere, fresh food, fun music, and exceptional service from Omar. There's still so much on the menu I want to try, so I will FOR SURE be back!

We tried the mushroom hummus, Zaa'tar fries, chicken shawarma sandwich, and Shakshouka. All of the food was delicious and well-made; I would recommend the mushroom hummus. The best part of the meal was the pita bread that comes with the hummus and also shakshouka. It was some of the best pita I've ever had; it had a nice chewy and soft texture. It came out warm and tasted so fresh. Service: Service was excellent. Staff were welcoming and friendly. They were attentive and constantly came around to fill our water. Ambiance: There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant is a good size with many tables to accommodate both large and small groups. Seating is comfortable, and the ambiance is nice. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant!

I went back for a weekday lunch recently and the food and atmosphere both hold up fabulously, so it makes sense why they've remained a brunch mainstay at both their East Village and Williamsburg locations. I enjoy that they serve their hot moroccan tea in a glass as is traditional, so you can see all the fresh mint leaves in your cup. I had tea like this multiple times a day during my trip to Morocco a few years back so sipping on this here took me back in time. I ordered a short stack of their blueberry pancakes which were very fluffy and delicious. They're not the kind of pancake with crispy edges, which are my preferred kind of pancake but I still found them satisfying. The moroccan eggs, which are two poached eggs in spicy stewed tomatoes and served with zahar pita is a delight. The pita is very fluffy and the zahatar adds such a nice fragrant spice to the bread. They used to serve this with potatoes but now those come at an additional charge but are well worth getting. The Williamsburg location also has pretty good wifi and they let me work on my laptop through my brief stay there. Kitchen was speedy too.
