Me and my wife went on a Saturday evening for takeout in early December. Halal Feast O came recommended from a couple people, and when I was told they have a good Lamb Gyro, I was all in. Lamb is my all-time favorite protein next to steak. The girl at the counter who took our order was very nice and had a good sense of humor. We were the only people there. Not generally a good sign, but it was around 5:30pm when we got there, and given that Christmas was right around the corner, not a big deal. I ordered the Lamb Gyro (sauce on the side) & the 4 Piece Fish. We got the food in about 15 minutes. When we got home (about 10 minute drive) it was time to eat. The Gyro was wrapped really nice, so expectations was high. Nicely wrapped, means it should be good. My first bite? Didn't taste any Lamb. 2nd Bite? Still couldn't figure it out. Also, noticed I didn't get my sauce! It was now time to examine what I was eating. When I fully opened the Gyro, it had a nice amount of veggies. They were layered on top of the "lamb". I call it "lamb", because it doesn't look like Lamb or taste like Lamb. I ate the "lamb" by itself, and it doesn't have any flavor of Lamb. I would call it a "lamb-blend". Real Lamb resembles beef in appearance. This "lamb" reminds you of cubed gyro meat (if you could cube it). I should take some responsibility, because all the pictures of the "lamb" on the menu are exactly what you get. I had my wife try it, and she agreed it had no Lamb flavor. The fish was ok. My wife really likes fish dishes, especially fried fish. We asked the girl at the counter what kind of fish they use, and she said "white fish". That should have been a clue to what we were in for. The "white fish" they use has an odd flavor, similar to Swai, which I'm not a fan of. It also reminds me the flavor of frozen fried shrimp, from the frozen food section. It definitely wasn't Haddock or Whiting. My wife thought it fine. The portions were good size. All in all, a very disappointing meal. They should adjust their advertising to indicate it's not 100% Lamb. Take a bite of their "lamb" and eat a piece of real Lamb, and the difference is clear. Would I give them a 2nd try? No. I'm not convinced it's 100% Lamb, so why bother?

Chicken platter with white, green, and bbq sauce

Service was quick and lots of space to come sit down and eat. I ordered the chicken platter with white, green, and bbq sauce, but was disappointed with how despite all the sauces, the rice and chicken still lacked flavor. For the price I paid, I was expecting a little more. With the platter, it comes with fries and salad, but that means half of the portion is just the chicken and rice itself. I would rather pay this much for some more flavorful chicken over rice. The food was salty and did find myself having to keep drinking water.

I hate that I am a Halal snob so it takes a lot for me to be blown away. Not going to lie the food was good. We have so many Halal options in the area, this one falls in the middle. Not the best and far from the worse. The price to portions is perfect. We ordered a chicken platter combo and a mix (lamb and chicken) platter. Got one with green sauce and the other two hot with white sauce. Both were very good. I actually enjoyed the lamb more than the chicken. The chicken could of been seasoned a bit more, but when mixed with the lamb, salad and sauces it was good. Eating the chicken alone definitely had to add a bit of salt. Cook was perfect on both meats. Loved the side cucumber salad, little tasty tip, I'd get extra green sauce on side for the salad. They offer side cups of all their sauces for .50. The cup sizes may be about 2 tablespoons. So if you a saucy kind of person get more than one on the side. I will say they provide a nice amount of sauce already on the plate. If you are shy to spice, I'd stay away, I loved the spice level, BUT it's oh the high side, if you have a sensitivity to it. The fries were cooked very well for me, my family thought they were over cooked..so each is own. They have a very lengthy menu, would definitely like to try other items. Ordered as take out through door dash. Food was packaged well, came still hot and service was fast.

Huge delicious halal platters Alhamdulillah at a convenient spot to UB and also only 12 minutes from Canisius. My friend and I tried the Falafel Platter and Chicken Platter and loved them (go heavy on the hot, white, and green sauces). This place is going to be packed during Ramadan inshaAllah. However, I thought it was unsafe and unsanitary to see two small children wandering between the kitchen, counter, and restaurant. I understand this is a family affair, but a 3-year old should not be wandering near hot surfaces.

Soooo good - this is the best, especially if you're looking for something fast that's still fresh & healthy. I suggest getting the chicken & rice with all the sauces!

Great tasting food! The lamb did not have gamey flavor at all and was seasoned to perfection. The chicken was tender and the rice was flavorful. The place looked really nice and it was spacious. Overall, the food was great! I would 100% come back. And they close late! Which is such a plus.

Amazing food! The owner is super nice and cool like family: Service is top notch!!!! Love the food! Tried most of the items so far, food quality is great and sauces are really tasty. Asylum burger was my favorite!!!! And prices are super reasonable and affordable in the university campus area.

This was my first time having Pakistani since moving to Buffalo but knowing where this place was located was almost a guarantee that is was going to be fantastic. The menu features a lot of unique items that I absolutely need to try in the future (most notably the goat curry) but the chicken biryani is what drew me in on this day. The gentleman working the counter was friendly and and quick to deliver the food when It was done (nice and hot too!). The rice served with this dish would of been enough alone to satisfy me but the chicken that was underneath it gets 2 thumbs up! I can't put my finger on what exactly the flavouring was but it was absolutely delicious in every way. M Asian Halal Foods is another fantastic addition to the West Side Bizarre. If you are hungry and wanting to get something new, give these guys a shot, you will not be disappointed!

So they're talking about having a black guy play James Bond. Idris Elba, I believe, was the front…read morerunner. So my question is... When are they going to make M Asian? The owners of this little stand, apparently, were wondering the same thing. And considering that one of the other amazing places inside the West Side Bazaar is "007 Asian Food", I think they're trying to tell us something. What to get: Chicken Karahi, or Egg Curry. What not to get: garrotted by one of Q's gadgets. Absolutely spectacular Indian food hidden away in the wonderful West Side Bazaar. One of the newer stands this place specializes in the egg Curry and especially the car. Chicken Karahi is a Pakistani specialty which is absolutely delicious. These guys know how to make it. Every bite is absolutely wonderful. Prices under $10 in the portion will fill you up. It's nice and oily just the way I like it. Indian food is a little like Chinese and Mexican food in that (a) there are a massive number of varieties, many of which are nothing like each other, and (b) the majority of people in the US don't know or understand the cuisine whatsoever. What most Americans think is Indian, Chinese or Mexican food is absolutely not. It's probably bland, overly-sugary gentrified crap that was literally invented to sell to Americans, which the majority of people from the culture or country in question, would never go near. Such as the dish "Butter Chicken" which is about as authentic as a Taco Bell taco. And as bland, sugary, and spiceless, too. Yay Murica. What you need to do when you go for Indian or Pakistani food - if you've chosen well and picked a place that has some real Indian food, like this stand does - is to pick dishes that are actually authentic. In this case, the Egg Curry and the Chicken Karahi are both delicious, full of flavour and spice, and must-try dishes. The samosa is also excellent. If you haven't been to the West Side Bazaar, you haven't really experienced Buffalo Cuisine. We have some of the most delicious treats hidden around the region and this place is one of the very best. While you're in here, get a fruit smoothie (no milk, ask for real fruit) from Gourmet Lao, as well as the sticky rice from 007 and the Garlic Chicken soup from the Burmese place across from M Asian. Now I'm going to write to the Broccoli family (and the late Ian Fleming) and Daniel Craig (and Sean Connery) and ask when the hell they are going to make M Asian. Speaking of which, I'll take the rapists for 400. And I want Swords for 600. That's not what your mother said last night Trebek.

We started with the lentil soup, boiling hot and full of lemon juice and black pepper. Mango lassis for both of us, and when we asked for tap water, we were given an entire pitcher of ice water for the table, with two cups. My husband ordered lamb handi, cubes of tender meat in a thick gravy with tomatoes, onions and green peppers. He had ordered it "Medium spicy", but I think the kitchen was grading on a curve: It was less punchy than the soup. Still, I wouldn't order "Hot" as I once did here: The chef takes pride in his liberal use of peppers at this level. (The menu warns you: "This is a dish for stronger constitutions"). My lamb shashlik was char grilled on a skewer (thoughtfully removed prior to serving) with slices of tomato, onions and green peppers, plated on a sizzling iron plate. The chunks of lamb had been marinated: They were so tender! The garlic naan? Fresh from a tandoor oven, with a little char, lots of butter and garlic, and a little parsley. It was so fresh and good!
