After getting a craving for chicken souvlaki I checked Yelp to see who served it close to me. The Village Grill wasn't the closest but the reviews sounded good. They have 3 sizes. The mini, the regular, and the super size. So naturally we ordered the largest one. The order was definitely super sized! The veggies were all nice & fresh & crisp. The chicken was tender, flavorful, & generous. The pita was served warm. The only thing that changed my review from a 5 to a 4 was the Greek dressing. First, we asked for extra & were told flatly NO. No option to purchase more? Secondly it had a stronger vinegar flavor than I exoected. Overall good meal. Actually enough for 2 meals. 2024-86

Gyro Sandwich $7.75 comes with no side

Pricey $7.75 gyro sandwich. Tasty but small portion and no side. Daughter and I felt hungry still after ordering one each. So we ordered the onion rings for $5.99. Crispy and delicious. Again really pricey for just onion rings. After getting two soft drinks with these food items, our bill was over $30 without Tip. Waitress was efficient. I'm not compelled to return because of the price. Ambience is the window looking out at the village and walkers going by. It's a simple restaurant.

It's a good thing they don't have Darth Vader and Lex Luther working here. Otherwise they'd be the Villains Grill. And it's a good thing that everything doesn't taste like young calves. Otherwise it'd be the Veal-ish Grill. It's a good thing they don't play Pearl Jam 24 7. It'd be the Vedderish Grill. And it's a good thing the employees don't work in road construction. Or it might be Fillditch Grill. I don't understand what all the fuss is about. There are some amazing Souvlaki places in Western NY. I can think of 15 or 20 souvlakis that I love. The dish here was not particularly delicious. The rice tasted like quick cook rice, it was very poor. The seasoning on the chicken was not really there... it just tasted like grilled chicken. And as if this wasn't disappointing enough, the price was significantly more than the same dish would be at far better restaurants. If it wasn't a locally owned place it would get a lower rating, but the service was decnt and it's family owned and they mean well, so 3 will do.

Hidden gem in Williamsville. I'm from buffalo originally but live in SF and every time I come home I order from Marwan. His food is fresh and so incredibly tasty- you can't get this anywhere even in California. He has the best spanakopita I've ever had! You should stop what you're doing and go now!

Very very good food. The owner was helpful in helping me understand the foods and such. It was a very clean place inside but I asked him to make it a takeout due to too many people staring at me. Other than that the food was excellent.

    So much deliciousness!

Lunch at work today, I had a meeting so my co-workers dined in and ordered mine to go. This place is fantastic! I've work at a few places located in Williamsville and The Village Grille is always a lunch favorite! Fresh ingredients, authentic tastes, priced fair for your portion and consistent! I mean seriously, I'm going back some years here. Staff is friendly too. I could eat here weekly!

Grilled veggie and side of fries

Surprisingly delicious. Doesn't necessarily look like much from the outside or the inside, but the food is so good... Chicken souvlaki salad: the grilled chicken is so tender and well-seasoned, and the lettuce is crisp and fresh. The feta is shaved so you get just a little bit in each bite - no huge chunks of feta - for the perfect ratio of ingredients. Grilled veggie pita: I wasn't sure what to expect, but this had a mix of grilled peppers, onions and tomatoes that were seasoned with some sort of delicious oil-based dressing. Again, the feta was perfectly dispersed to season it and bring everything together. It was so, so good - I didn't expect it to be so tasty and satisfying. Pita bread: fresh, pillowy and delicious. Very good pita bread. Fries: crisp and delicious. Overall: I've been here a few times and always forget how good it is. The guy who runs the place seems to be Greek and he was very nice and helpful. Recommended.

Acropolis did not disappoint one bit!…read more The menu has the traditional theme of Greek restaurants of breakfast all day, lunch all day, dinner all day! My friend ordered the falafel burger and Greek potatoes and he said they were great. But don't be like my friend; the potatoes are very soft and there's a crazy amount of butter in their bowl and not once, but twice, he picked one up with his fork and it broke on his lap, getting butter everywhere! So make sure you eat them right over the bowl before you ruin your pants and shirt haha I ordered the applewood smoked bacon burger. You get your choice of cheese and I think they had a good five options. I ordered it medium but I will say it was more close to well-done. It didn't bother me and also it was still very very juicy so no biggie. It was well-flavored and stacked with bacon and I nice siracha mayo, as well as the usual tomato, onion, and lettuce. These handhelds come with standard ripple potato chips but you can have other options for an up charge (fries, potatoes, soup, salad...) Seating is indoor and outdoor. I enjoyed sitting outside. Our waitress was very nice. Sodas are Coke products. Limited street parking out front; actual parking lot is out back. Enter through side patio door or front door, not the back door.

My companion loves their rice pudding and made sure to take one home for later. They pack a patio for summer dining on this busy village corner, great for viewing local walkers and Main St. traffic. The large menu has something for everyone - breakfast, lunch, dinner options were available at the lunch hour service.
